DIXIE AUTO SERVICE

Each time I have brought the car there (a total of 4 times now), even for something like a simple oil change, the car has been kept for 2-5 days. The office does not call to give updates on the car - I always have to call them. Was charged $300 dollars for a diagnostic test on the engine this last time, and the problems were not even fixed. An auto shop can be cheap and slow or expensive and fast. But to be expensive and slow is an appalling nightmare. Will not be taking our cars there again.

It was fantastic. They're great. They're very personable and honest. We had very good communication while my car was there. The price was very average, not high or low.

I am really pleased with the service I have received. The car is check over and any necessary repairs I am told about. I have complete confidence in their ability to service my car without doing work that is unnecessary. They try to keep the cost down as much as possible.

I trust DIXIE AUTO SERVICE with my car. They know that I need my car running right. They are very honest. There has never been an issue with them. They are very nice and have reasonable prices.

I what I really like about this place is they invovle you in their process, aks questions, keep you informed as they proceed with their decision-making tree, not bc they don't know what to do but bc they want you to be an imformed and satisfied customer. And we are!

They weren't busy and were able to get the new part and install it in about 2 hours.

For the a/c, originally I took the car to the dealer, and they were going to charge me quite a bit and I felt that they weren't being completely honest. I took it to Dixie Auto and they charged me less than half of what the dealer was going to charge me, and they said that some of the work didn't need to be done that the dealer had mentioned.

They did a great job. It took a little longer than I expected but I was not in a hurry and other customers were so it was no big deal. I'm very happy and will return the next time I need service.

It turned out a hose had just come loose and they reattached it. I was expecting to be out a few hundred dollars and I was only out about $30. They are honest and I really like that. They have also changed the oil for me a couple of times. They are just great guys.

While at the shop, I enjoyed very fast and friendly service. I like the fact that they asked me if I wanted to replace the windshield wiper blades instead of just installing them and then telling me. I'm very happy with their total job performance.

When I came to pick up the car, there was no charge for the service. Everyone was very friendly and courteous. I recommend Dixie Auto Service to everyone in the area.

Very Well. I initially took the car in because we thought the clutch was going bad. The mechanic called and informed us that the clutch was fine but unfortunately other more serious problems existed. We knew of a bearing type sound in the engine area and we knew we were loosing radiator fluid but no one could tell us why. At this shop that explained that the water pump was bad and was the root cause of the radiator fluid leaks. Since the car had 250,000 miles on it it was decided that as long as the water pump was coming off, the timing belt could also easily be changed. (It was the original). I thought the people here treated my son professionally. (He is a college student 1200 miles from home). I would take the car back again.

Very good. They found the problem on the first day, but had to place an order for the part, and that would take a couple of days to get there. They put everything back together so that I still could use the car for those days, and then returned it to be fixed.

Excellent, on time service with personal attention. Andre held my car overnight and serviced it first thing in the morning so I could pick it up before I had to go to work.
