Cassel's Garage

Went to their Website to schedule an appointment for an alignment for my car. Verified via their website that this is a service they perform. Received a rude and angry email response back saying they do not do alignments and to take my business someplace else. Wow! I had never been there before but I can tell you I will never consider them again for service.

They were very nice, the prices were fair, they completed the work quickly and all has been well since. Previously I went to the local Ford dealer where I received shoddy work that led me to find Cassel's Garage. I'll be using Cassel's for all my future van repairs.

We like them. The dealer wanted a lot of money for fixing what he did. We are going to have to go there soon because my husband thinks that the water pump broke.

I have used Cassel's Garage for several years. They are very honest and have kept my car travel worthy for 115,000 miles. They are very professional and friendly. My oil change was done very promptly.

Brake job was botched. The mechanic did not adjust the rear brakes at all - the wheels were free wheeling and the pedal went to the floor. Lou told me to drive it that was for the weekend and bring it back Monday if I thought there was s till a problem. When I brought it back I was told the brake mechanic was off that day so I had to bring it back again. No difference. They also did not attach the shims to the brake shoes so there was a lot of slop and noise. I ended up paying somebody else to fix it, and that was my last trip to Cassel's. Prior work was okay, although there were repairs I paid for that did not fix the problem I was having and so I had to pay for some other subsequent repair to actually resolve the issue. Hit or miss is too expensive because this is about the most expensive repair shop I've been to. Went to them exclusively for several years, but when they blew me off over the brake issue that was enough.

I discovered Cassels garage about three years ago. Since then, they have provided all my regular maintenance work (i.e., oil changes) and solved any issues that have crept up. The thing I like most about the shop is that it has a family atmosphere and I've always felt like they have been very honest with me and treated me very professionally. Repairs are done on time and on budget. Yes, I did have one nasty rattle that took multiple trips to get resolved. But I was only charged for the first visit. I only rate them a B on price because honestly, you are not saving a much money over dealership pricing.

They are overpriced and have limited skills, sort of a snotty attitude.

I like everything about them. They are wonderful people and do a great job. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

Called them up and they agreed to see the vehicle the next day. They said it would be a couple hours after drop-off so we left the vehicle and went home. After about 3 hours they called, said the car needed about $300 in repairs and it would take a couple of hours. Sure enough in a couple of hours we received the pickup call. They were prompt, no "surprises" that it would not be done until the next day. The diagnosis and tuneup total was almost $300 so its pricey, but it solved the problem and was prompt. to be honest I do not know if all they did was spray some cleaner in the throttlebody and replace the plugs, or actually tear it down and clean the injectors ...if its the first I seriously overpaid, if its the second, well...at least they put some effort into it hehe... If I have a more challenging car repair I will probably give them a try again. So, in summary, problem solved and they were prompt as we needed to car up and running.

The shop is super clean, and the workers are super nice. They explain everything to her and only charge her for the parts that they use. It is a family owned business and has been for many years. She will not take her car any place else becuase they are so nice.

Technician did not know how to reset the computer to keep my car computer from telling me my tire pressure was low. I had to seek another solution. Otherwise the service was good.

Brought my car in at 8AM, told them the problem I was having, and said they would check it out. At 9:30, they called and said they checked the transmission thoroughly and found no problems. I appreciate their honesty, and it was no charge for me for this inspection. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

They were fine. We spent about $1,000 or $2,000 on that service, but they were very good. They did a great job and I don’t have any complaints about them. They were very conscientious. They were certainly not inexpensive and not outrageous, but they do an excellent job. I know a lot of people that go there and I work in a church and they were the ones that recommended them to me. I haven’t heard any complaints about them.

I was looking for a mechanic for my mother, since the dealership always either wants her to bring the car in too early in the morning or keeps her waiting for hours while they do the work. The folks at Cassels' drove her home when she dropped off the car and then brought the car back to her when it was finished. She thought they were very accommodating, reasonably priced, and honest, and the shop was clean and centrally located.

This was a good experience overall. I had heard from various sources on the internet that a spark plug change could be performed on this engine without rotating it if you really knew what you were doing. This was not the manufacturer approved or recommended way of doing things, however, and I told all this to the shop. They took a look and told me that they would need to do it by the book, which is why a spark plug replacement cost so much. Their price was not unreasonable considering they had to rotate the engine. They also said they found and fixed a vacuum leak while they were in there at no extra cost. I noticed an improvement in gas mileage right after, so that was pretty cool. They were very professional in person and on the phone, and the shop itself is very clean and orderly.

Drove in to schedule an appointment and they told me they could do it now. Friendly service.

Very impressed with courtesy, professionalism and cleanliness throughout the facility. Pretty much left it up to them to fix what was needed. They could easily have inflated the price but didn't. I felt that I got a fair deal and that I was in VERY competent hands. Will service all of my vehicles there in future.
