Description of Work: Found and fixed outlet that blew after a lightning strike.

Description of Work: Had our pool pump checked as it stopped working. We weren't sure if the pump had just quit or perhaps had suffered a lightening strike. The pump had suffered a "ground strike" and needed to be replaced. The vendor replaced the pump for free as it was under warranty.

Description of Work: Bernard, from Absolute Electric, was superb. He quickly determined the immediate problem which resulted from another electrician (not Absolute) fixing one problem but creating another. He quickly resolved my problem (several non-working outlets) and corrected the problem from the prior electrician that I had used. Further, I needed to split me pool pumps to separate circuit breakers for my TECO Energy Planner installation. Once again, he analyzed the situation and provided a quick and inexpensive solution to my problem. Bernard is knowledgeable, efficient and very pleasant. On top of it all, his rates were very reasonable; especially compared to my prior experience with another electrical contractor that fixed one problem and created I will certainly utilize Bernard of Absolute Electrical and wholeheartedly recommend him to everyone.

Description of Work: Installed a dedicated outlet in back of house for lift station pump, replaced two fluorescent light fixtures, installed outdoor wall mount light fixture, removed defunct phone cables. | |That day another worker was here to troubleshoot a lift station problem. Bernard was kind enough to help me supervise that worker because that worker didn't seem to know what he was doing. Bernard also let him use some of his tools because the worker was obviously unprepared for what he was called to do. Bernard is a very nice, capable person.

Description of Work: We had a small electrical outlet fire that burned the outlet. Bernard Planas came and checked our electrical panel for damage. Fortunately for us it was just the electrical outlet and wiring that burned. Mr Planas replaced our outlet and made other suggestions for surge protection. It was a good experience and we will do business in the future.

Description of Work: Two outlets were added in my garage, one 220 and the other 110. Bernard spent extra time locating and labeling circuit breakers and outside junction boxes when he came for the estimate. Very nice and friendly. Very helpful and did not rush. He did a great job all around. Would recommend him and will use him again if needed.
