Iron Man Moving & Storage

Normally, I move myself, but needed a little extra help this time due to a recent back injury. I used the $150 for two men and a truck for two hours that was posted on Angie's LIst -- a hard deal to pass up and I don't regret it. I moved my smaller items in my suv, but the A+ crew moved my sofas and bedroom set. The crew was on time and very thorough. I didn't request it for such a short move, but they took the extra time to thoroughly wrap up my less than pristine living room furniture. The procedure for check-in and checkout was detailed but well-explained. I would recommend them to my friends.

Three movers arrived right on time. They were very respectful with regards to noise of the surrounding tenants since we began early in the day. I received emailed instructions as to what would happened the day of the move and those instructions were followed to a tee! The move was completed with ease and very smoothly. They completed the moves in less time than was expected. I will be calling this company again if I need anything moved!

It went pretty good. They did a good job. The price went over a little bit because of the time or whatever so I guess that's normal. They were great. I have no problems with them whatsoever. I probably would use him when I got to move it out. They did a fantastic job.

These guys were great. They were both friendly and personable. Everything was moved with very little damage. They wrapped everything they moved, and they were cautious with my belongings. They arrived on time, explained what they were doing, and executed. What more could I ask for? I did notice that they slowed down a little when they were finishing the loading phase, but we pushed them on a little and everything was fine. I would hire them again especially because of how careful they were with my "stuff".

I thought the Big Deal was misleading. It lists that it includes 24 windows, but in the fine print, it says that's per window pane. So it was not 24 windows, it was only 12. It's misleading. There's two pieces of glass that make a window. The service was good. There were maybe one or two windows that weren't really clean, but overall, it was good.

Decided to try A+ moving even though my prior experience with Hall Brothers was great. My experience began very positively when I spoke with Thaddeus to schedule the move and discuss the pieces and the time estimate so that I could purchase the appropriate Angie's List coupon. I bought the 3 movers/3 hour coupon for $285. This was a great deal for a high scoring provider as far as I saw on Angie's. The correspondence from the time of booking up through the day of the move were great: I received a couple more emails of forms and instructions, as well as another with tips for the moving day. On the day of the move I received a courtesy call about 30/45 minutes prior to their arrival. When the movers arrived they all introduced themselves to me (Joey seemed to be "in charge", there was J.J. and a third who was very nice and professional but I can't recall his name so I'll call him Headphones as he listened to music the whole time). We reviewed all the pieces to be moved. I let Joey that I wanted to stay within the 3-hour coupon time, and told him which pieces could be left behind if they decided that time was running out. They stuck to this very well, and I truly appreciate their time management in this regard. These deals are always great but iI didn't want any overage charges. They didn't end up having to leave any pieces due to time, however one of the bed frames could not be dismantled because of a stripped screw. Joey tried for a little while then told me that there was no way to get the frame out of the room without taking it apart so I decided to have him leave it. He told me I could buy a re-tapping drill bit to get it out later, which I appreciated. Maybe moving forward the guys could have such a drill bit on them: that would definitely have been a bonus for customer service in my eyes! Joey asked what I wanted to have wrapped versus not wrapped (to save time) and then he said they could save even more time by wrapping the furniture in the truck versus in my home. This is the decision I do regret, as I could have witnessed the wrapping inside versus the truck but I was focused on saving time. The unloading went well and was completed quickly at the new location (which was only 5 minutes drive away). After they finished Joey let me know they were done and started to let me know what the charges were. I had to stop him and say I'm going to go upstairs and review everything first. That's when I saw the damage to my footboard and dresser. It wasn't a little scratch either, it looked like someone had scraped something with metal teeth across the dark wood. I called Joey up to look at the damage.This is where the professionalism grade could have been higher. All he kept saying was how he didn't know how it happened, how he knew it was wrapped in the truck and that they didn't do anything that would have caused that damage. I had to repeatedly explain to him (calmly, mind you I don't tend to raise my voice at strangers) that I was positive the damage was not there prior to the move. He called the other two movers upstairs to ask them what happened, even though I saw that Joey was one of the two that actually moved both of the damaged pieces. After a couple more minutes of "I don't know what did that" from Joey, Headphones finally said what I needed to hear: That the owner would be happy to take care of the damage, that Thaddeus had a fantastic furniture restoration guy that would come over as soon as they marked the claim on the form. In the end, I understand that crap happens. The only thing I ever expect from a vendor when said crap does happen is to own it. As promised, when I reached out to Thaddeus he did not hesitate to ask for photos and to let me know that the restoration tech would be in touch. That happened about two days later and the service was fantastic. I appreciate the company's follow through on the repair promise. Overall the service was ok and the pricing was good. I might use them again but would want to witness the wrapping process rather than let them do it on the truck.

The moving team arrived on time and the crew each introduced themselves to us personally. They were friendly and upbeat even thought it was mid afternoon and they had already been working for several hours. They worked very well as a team and loaded our items quickly and efficiently onto the truck and into the storage unit. Awesome job! We will definitely call them back for future move needs.

Everything was very organized from the beginning. Thaddeus had a number of safeguards in place prior to the move to ensure that we understood what to expect. There was a good amount of communication leading up to the move so that everything was confirmed. The guys called to say they were about an hour away from arrival. They were professional, courteous, worked well together, and genuinely seemed to like what they do! They respected our wishes and were so easy to work with! We had a very bad experience with our last movers who were not recommended by Angies List. I vowed not to make that mistake again. I highly recommend A+ Quality Moving for a stress free, professional quality move.

These guys were amazing! They gave us a call 30 minutes prior to arriving like they said they would, and were beyond pleasant to work with. They asked us how we would like the items moved and if there were any special requirements. They wrapped all the furniture in drop clothes to prevent damage and loaded it up with the utmost care. None of our items were damaged in the move. We also appreciated how fast they worked. We had purchased a coupon for a 6 hour job and these gentleman held to it! We would highly recommend them to others!

I was given a time frame of between 12 to 3 PM - the movers called me several times to let me know what time they would be arriving! They arrived just when they said they would and promptly got straight to work! They never stopped hustling until the truck was load! They made exceptionally good time getting to their destination location and again they hustled making sure they got me moved in the two hours I had with my Groupon! I have never had a more effecient or courtesy moving company in my life!!! They we're very professional and their paperwork was astonishingly thorough! If I ever had to move again or have friends who need to move, then I would look no further then A+ Quality Movers!!!

ARRIVED ON TIME , WENT RIGHT TO WORK. NO NONSENSE, AND VERY EFFICIENT

They arrived on time. Introduced themselves (very pleasant guys - Theron and Jessie) and asked what was to be moved. I showed them the items. They were very efficient about wrapping the furniture and protecting it in travel. It left here and arrived there in the same excellent condition. I liked them so much that while they were here I called to schedule a room-to-room move, which will take place after the July 4th holiday. Highly recommend.

They were awesome and really good. They got it all done they were awesome. They were on time, professional and more than what we could have hoped for. We left the heavy stuff for them.

A+ Quality Moving contacted me right away. I set up the appointment an signed the online contract. The day before the move I was called to let me know that someone would contact me early the next morning. I got a call from Carson that he was on his way and would arrive at 6:30AM. Carson, Theron and Mike first introduced themselves with respect when they arrived. They looked through the house to see all that needed packed on the truck. Carson wrapped all the fragile furniture with moving blankets. Theron did a great job packing the truck as Carson and Mike continuously took out boxes. We were packed and set to go by 9:30AM. They arrived at the new home and started unpacking right away. They asked where we wanted items and was nice cooperative men. All was unpacked and finished by 11:30AM. I was so glad they were fast and efficient. I would definitely use them again. I have referred there services also. The only thing we found was a few pieces of broken glass from a trophy case and picture. We had an antique mirror that was leaned against the wall at the old place and my husband accidently knocked it over which broke. I wish it would have been wrapped before leaning it on the wall. All in all a great move with no stress!

It went great. The crew arrived 45 minutes early and immediately got to work after having me sign their paperwork notifing me that if they went over the 4 hours the rate would be $110 per hour. He said he was not sure they could complete in the 4 hours I paid for but they would give it their best shot.. One man packed up the kitchen while the other 3 started wrapping up all the furniture with blankets and moving them to the truck. The crew was a wonderful team of people. They completed the job in the 4 hours and everything went great.

This company was on time (even with it being a Friday and bad weather) and knew exactly what to do when they arrived. They were very careful and safe. Good combo. This company was absolutely incredible! From the first contact through the follow-up contact, they were wonderful. They are honest and open about what is involved. They did a great job estimating the time and expense for the move. They answered all my questions prior to the actual move. The crew was respectful of me, my home and my pet. They wrapped every piece of furniture and were mindful of the condition of my home. Everything made it from point A to point B in one piece. There was no damage to either physical location. Not even a tiny scratch on anything. They provide significant value for the money. I certainly plan to use this company again and I've already recommended them to several of my friends. You can't go wrong with this team!
