I was unable to use my lawn sprinklers due to a broken lever. I found Green Lawn Sprinklers on Angie's List. (My go to for reliable businesses). I called and left a message and received a call back withing hours. Bob and his son Jeff came out the next day and checked out my sprinklers and got them up and running on the spot. One head clearly needed replacing; and 3 others weren't working properly. I had asked about getting a timer. They quoted me a price of $285 for the timer and the repairs. Very professional and courteous. Jeff came to my home the next morning and had everything fixed and gave me a lesson on the timer by the time I left for work. These guys were gentlemen, knew their business and very fair. I highly recommend them. Oh, and they gave me a 2 yr parts and labor warranty on the timer.

The gentleman seemed knowledgeable. He did everything he said he would do. He was on time and everything worked perfectly when it was done. He was punctual. The price was good for what he did because it was of specialized knowledge. He was almost well prepared. He made sure everything worked before he left.

I called on Tuesday evening, April 19 and received a return call the following morning from Bob Vail. His son, Jeff Vail came to my home in the afternoon and determined the problem. The pump for the system was not working due to lack of use over an extended period of time while no one resided in the house. Although the pump may have required replacement, Jeff first worked for some time trying to see if he could get the current pump to work. He even consulted with Bob on his cell phone to try various methods to get the pump going. Jeff returned the following morning with the appropriate tools and information about the specific pump that was installed and was able to get the pump freed up and working. He tested the system, replaced those spinkler heads that needed replacement and demonstrated how to set up the timer and did, in fact, set up the timer system for the spinkler zones to go off on a schedule. The system has been working just fine and completed the first round of watering for the week. I was very pleased with his prompt response, explanation of the problem and efforts to resolve the same. I will definitely use this company again.

We negotiated with him for days. He left materials on site. We got permits approved. He decided that he could not satisfy us due to the required negotiations. We offered to pay him some upfront. It was strange. I would recommend him. He pulled out of the project at the last minute.

Bob came to the house, told us what needed to be done, wrote an estimate, answered all questions and gave us a date for the job. He installed the new system as promised, explained everything, answered more questions. Everything was done professionally and with a very friendly attitude.

I telephoned and left a message on voice mail, on two seperate occasions. My calls were never answered.

They were excellent. Jeff was the person I dealt with. They were very helpful in making suggestions. They even moved a couple of things for me at no additional charge. It was very nice. At first, I thought the price was high, but when they did extra work, I was fine with it. The price was good, considering the circumstances. They were right on time.

Our "ex" babysitter reversed her car into the vacuum relief valve for the irrigation system snapping it completely off (created a geyser that Yellowstone would have been proud of). I fortunately discovered the problem quickly and was able to turn the main water valve off which left our house completely waterless from midnight Saturday evening. The following morning I referred to Angie's list and found Greenlawn Sprinklers as they were listed as offering 24 hour service. I spoke with Bob (owner) who immediately offered to come out to the house given that we were "waterless". His son, Jeff, showed up on time and fixed the problem within an hour. He then ran through a sprinkler check and made sure there were no leaks (replaced a few heads that were unrelated to the original problem). He was extremely informative, professional and friendly. I would absolutely use them again. My family cannot thank them enough for fixing the problem on Superbowl Sunday. Would have given them A++++ if there were an option.

They were on time; appeared when they said they would and finished ahead of schedule. I would never hesitate to refer or use them again.

It was great. The repair required minimal work, so they charged nothing.

Called this morning hoping to have someone take a look at my irrigation pump and sprinkler system which had lost its prime over the past week (or so). The folks at Green Lawn Sprinklers responded to my call VERY promptly (arrived within 1 hour of my call; I wasn't expecting to be able to get service for at least 24 hours) and everyone was very courteously. Explained every step of the process and gave me a price estimate before starting any work. Was on site for approximately 3 hours. Checked in with me every hour to let me know what the progress had been and what the diagnosis. Explained how to maintain my irrigation system and what to expect over the next 12-18 months.

They called to let me know that they were going to be 30 minutes late and then repaired and replaced the pipe and adjusted my sprinkler heads in less than an hour. Very friendly and courteous and gave a discount for being a little late. I would definitely recommend them and will use them again.

The job went really well. They were prompt and seemed to be very responsive also. I have not complaints about this company.

I called them on a Saturday morning and they problem was fixed by 1. They were in the area and came over as soon as they had finished they other job. They explained the problem so that I could understand it, and fixed everything on time.

Everything went exceedingly well. Bob and his son were prompt, came exactly when they said they would, and charged only for the time they were there. Bob could have said the well needed relining; instead he set gauges for 24 hours and discovered it was not the well, but a leak in the pipe leading to the well. We knew we needed a new timing clock (it hadn't worked in quite a while). Several of the sprinkler heads were broken, which Bob's son replaced, but others were not set properly, needing raised or turned in such a way to cover the lawn. Again, all work was done in the shortest amount of time considering all the work that needed to be done. We have 3/4 of an acre so this was a large project. I would recommend them highly.

If I have a problem in the future I will certainly call them again.

We were pleased with the work. It is a family owned business which I liked. Just hope my grass will grow back where they dug the lines.

I had received 3 estimates. One company wanted to replace the entire sprinkler system without regard for what I was asking for. Mr. Vail & his sons, Jeff & Brian, listened to what I was asking for and then explained what they would do. This was a very big job, as they had to re-route around the swimming pool & they even had to dig around an oak tree with massive roots. I wanted it done right the first time so I listened to their recommendations. They explained everything to me clearly and did a fantastic job. The entire experience was professional & courteous and they always arrived when they said they would. They guarantee their work. I highly recommend this company. Honesty & integrity here!
