GREEN LAWN SPRINKLERS INC

I originally contacted a company (O'Hara) who told me my timer and pump was shot and I needed to replace the entire system. They (O'Hara) charged me $50 for the privledge & opportunity to get ripped off. I was a little put off since they had good ratings on Angie's List. Of course, if you don't know better, who wouldn't be happy with a whole new sprinkler system? Thankfully, I didn't fall for that one. I contacted 3 more contractors. One of them, GREEN LAWN SPRINKLERS, called me the same day and offered to go take a look. The owner was out at my house within an hour and let me know there wasn't any power going to the timer. (Strange how the other company could say the existing equipment didn't work when the power wasn't on?). GREEN LAWN SPRINKLERS offfered to come back first thing the next day when I would be home to let them in the garage to access the electrical panel. GREEN LAWN SPRINKLERS was back, (Jeff) bright and early, just like they promised! (love it!) and guess what? The switch on the panel was just tripped and the timer works fine. Jeff did a troubleshoot of the system as time allowed before his previously schedule appointment and offered to come back after he completed that appointment to continue working on my system. He came back and worked until he had the system up and running, letting me know each step of the way what his progress was and letting me know what choices I had. I truly feel this company has the clients best interest at heart. They are not pushy and won't sell you something you don't need! Thank you, thank you, thank you GREEN LAWN SPRINKLERS!!!!! This is a company I would recommend to anyone. My opinion of Jeff is that he is knowledgeable, hardworking and honest. That isn't easy to come by these days. I will absolutely hire them for the additional work that I plan to have done to extend my sprinkler system.

I called and spoke with Bob and told him we thought we had a leak in our sprinkler system. He came out the next morning and called when he was onsite. He spoke to my husband at length about what he found. He provided specifics and details. We went ahead and asked him to fix the problem. He fixed the problem that day. I was very impressed that (1) I was able to reach him immediately by phone to set up an appointment, (2) that he arrived the next day at the time he indicated, (3) that he contacted us immediately to review the problem and fix, and (4) that he fixed the problem the same day.

Being new to Florida and a first to have sprinklers on our lawn, we didn't know if they worked. My husband called & Jeff came out the next day at 8:00am! He was prompt, which is important to us! Jeff showed my hubby how they work, what to do and how to adjust the sprinklers and understand how the donuts. He was happy all our sprinklers worked well and if we do need anything we will definitely call Jeff & Green Lawn Sprinklers again!

We bought a foreclosure home, and the sprinkler system hadn't been used in a year. The pump was frozen up. So, I had no way to know how the whole system would perform. He came out and managed to get the pump going again. He then tested each region of sprinklers and determined only minor repairs were needed. He did them immediately, charged me $125 and told me he was glad our system was working so well.

He was efficient. He came on time. He explained everything to me.

Bob arrived on time to our appointment and was extremely helpful, informative, and patient with all of my questions and curiosities about my existing sprinkler system (on a new home purchase.) He walked around the yard with me, showing me where things were broken and/or wasteful, and told me in detail how we could optimize the system so that the sprinkler design, coverage, and water usage were all in tip-top shape. Once we had a plan to address the necessary fixes, we found an appointment time that worked for us both and he arrived on time to make the repairs. I also spoke with him about some yard/planting re-design that I'm considering, and he agreed to work with me so that we can further optimize water usage in the future. I highly recommend this company for their workmanship and reliability. Also, it was truly a pleasure doing business with Bob. Quality company and quality people.

I could not be happier with this company. They returned my call promptly and worked with me to meet at a time which was convenient for me which was 7am. The gentleman arrived on time and quickly diagnosed my problem and provided me with his recommendation of the work needed and the estimated cost. I agreed to everything and within hours another gentleman from the company was at our house fixing our problem. The problem was fixed and the work was done quickly and cleanly and at the estimated cost. I spoke with both parties in the company and both were nice, knowledgeable and never tried to push unnecessary work or repairs. I would strongly recommend this company to anyone seeking a professional company to do their lawn sprinkler service.

Bob arrived to go over with me what I needed done. He was very detailed in his explanations and took his time. He also gave me more than one option to choose from. Jeff showed up on the appointed day and did the work. We had a new section of pipe put in to reach the new bushes that had been installed the previous month. He also put in a new timer and explained how it worked. They are great guys who are professional and proud of their work. We would definitely use them again.

They did really good job. They were honest and reliable. They were also reasonably priced.

If you call and they don't call back the same day, be patient, they are worth the wait.

Irrigation pump motor burned out, called Green Lawn Sprinklers Monday morning, Jeff (Son) answered right away, Robert (Father) called back with appointment time next morning. The appointment was for 11 but they came early. Jeff diagnosed my issue by testing with a new capacitor just to make sure it was in fact the motor that failed. He discussed my options (replace just the motor or the whole pump) and given that the pump was already over 11 years old I opted to spend the extra $250 and get the new pump. Installation went fine but something didn't sound right with the new motor (louder than normal) so Jeff explained to me that he wanted to go back to the shop and replace it with another new pump assembly. They offer a 2 year parts and labor warranty on the pumps they sell / install so I appreciated the fact that they took the time to explain what had happened and what they were doing about it. Jeff went back to his shop, came back with and installed the new pump.

Everything went great. He showed up promptly and Saturday, reviewed what needed to be done, and quoted us a price of $275. We thought it was reasonable. His son came out on Monday and performed all the work. A month later we called them out on another issue related to the valve that is responsible for switching zones. We called him on Friday around 8:30. He was to our house at 10:30. He called me on the phone at work. Told me I could replace the valve or keep the valve and put up with this problem periodically. I chose to replace the valve for $275. My zones switch better now in the automatic mode and manual mode.

The tech showed up at the scheduled appointment time and we ran around the house until I found the sprinkler control in the garage. The tech replaced a few sprinkler heads and made sure they all popped up correctly and fixed the programming on the timer. Would use again.

I called on a Tuesday and was called the next morning and told that they were busy through Monday of the following week. But since I wasn't in a rush, I was fine with that wait (and I like that they were honest enough to avoid promising me they'd show up one day and then cancel). Green Lawn (I believe the guy's name was Jeff) came out within 10 minutes of the scheduled time on Monday and immediately inspected the problem, then provided me with a cost to fix the issues I was having with the pump. After fixing the pump, he moved on to inspecting my sprinkler heads and lines. I wasn't willing to spend more than $225, so Jeff (I'm just going to call him Jeff, hopefully that was his name) gave me a list of issues he could fix and allowed me to prioritize the repairs. I told him the fixes I thought were most important, and he got to as many of them as he could in the time I was willing to pay for. The work Green Lawn did was excellent (every area they fixed is now working perfectly), but more important was the excellent customer service. They didn't just do the work and present me with a huge shocking bill; there was communication through the entire process. Jeff even told us how we could make a few of the repairs on our own as he was leaving. I'd highly recommend Green Lawn to anyone.

I contacted Green Lawn and Jeff returned my phone call the same day. He was able to come to my house within a day. He came exactly on time, gave me an estimate and got right to work. He was able to locate all the issues that were causing my water bill to go through the roof. Jeff was kind enough to take extra time to walk me through the basics of the system and never suggested any changes or additional services. My water bill decreased by over $300.00. I wished I had called him months ago!

These guys are excellent! They showed up when they said they would and completed the work in a very timely manner. They went so far as to explain exactly what they were doing and showed me what I could do if only very minor repairs are needed in the future. Rather than make costly repairs right away, they said my equipment should keep working for a while but, if anything goes wrong, they will come back then. I was expecting a much larger bill but they were very reasonable. I would definitely do business with them again.

I noticed the sprinklers coming on several days in a row so I called Jeff to come check it out. The timer and pump are at least 15 years old and its an older pin system for the timer. The pins where not functioning properly but Jeff gave me a work around before he brought up the solution of replacing the whole unit. The other option was to turn the system off every Friday and back on Monday so it wouldn't run Sat. and Sun. which was the problem. I could have gotten away with it if I wanted to remember to do that every week but decided to replace the unit. Jeff explained to me in details what was wrong, gave a fair estimate an scheduled the replacement within 24 hours.

They were just absolutely fantastic. They were prompt, thorough and reasonable and I was very pleased. He was probably here for at least an hour and did quite a few things. The system works beautifully. I would recommend them highly and tell people how professional, courteous, thorough and prompt they were. We always like to see things a bit cheaper, but realistically, it was a really good price.

It was fine. They were a little pricey, so I had to have someone else finish the job.

They got the job done and I would work with them again.

I called up Jeff at Green Lawn to come back and adjust the sprinkler systems. He returned my call within an hour of leaving a message and scheduled a call for first thing in the AM the next day. He showed up on time, but had to wait about 20 min. for my landscaper to finish the lawn before he could turn on the sprinklers. He patiently waited and we talked about the issues I was having with several sprinklers dousing my car in the driveway. He adjust all 5 zones and made sure I was 100% happy. I would highly recommend you call Jeff if you need any help with your sprinkler system.

I was extremely happy with the company. They happened to be extremely good. I would give them more than an A rating. They explained what they were doing. They were on time, but that are tuned for that kind of job. The job was done perfectly. The thing that I really appreciated is that it was quite a big job and I was informed of what the gentleman was doing and how it was working. Their manner was very good. It was one of the best experiences that I’ve had. They came out 2 days in a row for 4 hours and I ended up paying between $370 and $380. It included the material, the sprinkler heads and new lines. Considering the work that they performed, the price was reasonable. I was given a price for the job in the beginning, but I asked the guy to stop at it and then he wasn’t sure on what it was going to be at the end, but it was dealt without me asking. It was a very good experience. They were very pleasant. I’m going to use them again in the future. This is what I expect when I have somebody at my home to do the job, but sometimes I don’t get it.

Contacted the owner and scheduled an appointment. He came out to the house later that day and introduced himself. Spent some time looking at the problems and gave a reasonable estimate range for what had to be done. We scheduled a repair appointment for the next business day. He told me that either himself or his son would complete the work. The next business day that they had an emergency situation that had to be addressed first. The owners son and a nephew arrived about an hour later than originally planned. They got right to work and repaired the broken line line first and then tested the system. Next step were head replacements that had been clogged. Tested again and then had us wittness the operation of the system. At this point, we decided to relocate two sprinkler heads. The system was tested again to our satisfaction. Total elapsed time was about an hour and three quarters. The owner, his son and the nephew were very professional and a joy to work with. Real service and customer satisfaction point of view.

Jeff showed up on time, took the time to explain the whole system, especially how the timer works. He made sure I understood everything about the system before he left. I would recommend them and use them again in the future.
