Description of Work: Mr. Conte did extensive electrical work in my 30 yr old house, which has had numerous owners and revisions. He was able to fix several circuits, including the light fixture in a powder room and two ceiling fan/ light fixtures in a sunroom. He is on time, courteous, conscientious, and explains step by step everything he does, as well as gives prices and options. He cleaned up the work areas completely. I will be calling him again in the future. I would highly recommend Ed Conte.

Description of Work: He replaced 2 fans on the patio, and a light fixture in the pantry. We provided the fans. Through no fault of his own he could not repair the existing light in the bathroom so he installed 3 new in-ceiling lights. He also fixed a bad switch.

 + 1 morevery satisfied with the service, the technician and the new bulbs. We were unaware of LED energy savings and will be switching all bulbs in the future on an as needed basis. Conte was friendly,experienced and professional.
Description of Work: Conte changed overhead lighting in laundry room and garage. We initially planned to replace kitchen lights but decided to order recommended LED bulbs which were more expensive than standard fluorescent bulbs and had to be ordered and required a second service date. Conte looked at guest bathroom 3-light fixture on 10/22/12 where one bulb was working. Conte recommended bulb changes and now all 3 lights are functioning. Conte also provided samples of LED lighting colors, prices for purchase and energy savings throughout the house going forward.

He never asked for any money up front, very professional, kind and curtious. His work is 100% satisfactory. We are very pleased and would absolutely have him come back again to do any other electrical work needed!!!!

 + 1 moreEd is a professional and it shows in everything he does. He shows up on time prepared and does a quality job at a fair price. Ed has done more than just this one job for us. Several years ago we had major home renovations done and he did all the re-wiring, adding additional lighting, moving and replacing switches/outlets as well as adding circuits, switches, outlets, wiring for a new kitchen and master bath as well as recessed lighting. He IS our electrician and we have relied on him for all of our electrical needs. We would highly recommend Ed for ALL your electrical work!
Description of Work: 1. Install a secondary electrical service/sub panel for additional capacity.2. Move several of the existing breakers from the main panel to the sub panel.2. Wire a surge guard device to my main service panel.

 + 0 moreEd arrived right on time,and had arranged to do so to allow me to get to work on time. He asked about the specifics and we discussed where the chandelier would be located. He cut the new box for the ceiling fixture, ran the wires and not only removed the chandelier from its previous location but also installed it in its new spot. When I got home I found the chandelier was perfectly centerd and worked great. Ed even shortened the chain by a couple links as I had said it was previously too low. He cut a new box for the ceiling fan and light switches and wired it so it would be ready when we purchased the fan kit. Since we had discussed the work by phone to establish the estimate, Ed wasn't aware that our home had decora switches. That was the only thing that couldn't be completed and he said he would come back on another day and take care of installing the remaining switch and cover at no cost. However, since we had bought the fan kit in the meanwhile, I asked about getting it installed on his return trip. He agreed and we discussed the cost, which was modest and an amount we were delighted to pay. He was back today (the 25th), installed the switch and cover and installed the fan. We could not be more pleased.
Description of Work: We had switched around our dining and living rooms so had to have the new dining room wired to accommodate a chandelier. We also had a second switch and wiring added to the new living room to accommodate a ceiling fan and light kit that could be controlled separately. We discussed the scope of work and Ed provided the estimate by phone. He had done work for us previously and we were so pleased with the work and his pleasant professional demeanor, we were very comfortable handling in this manner.
