There was a problem with the fan and I needed to get a replacement part mailed, Mr. Conti is coming back to finish the job for me at no charge. He even went to Lowe's and got me the correct battery for the remote. Good customer service!!

Mr. Conte was on time, very professional and did the job less than an hour. I'm very happy with the completed job.

I hired Ed via Angie's list, and could not be happier with the work he did for us. We remodeled our kitchen so he had to come several different times throughout the process. He did an outstanding job installing can lights, pendants, moving plugs and rewiring the disposal for use with a plug and air switch. Each time he came to do work, he was prompt, professional and cleaned up after himself. He went up into our hot attic without complaint and disconnected the old circuits so I could demo the kitchen, and then again to inspest locations for the can lights. He made several suggestions and let us decide a course of action. He was able to work at the same time other contractors were present, was very flexible a when we had to reschedule, and answered all my questions with patience - even when I asked the same questions after forgetting I had asked them. He also installed LED under cabinet lighting and hid the wires and connections so well that they are not obvious even when opening the cabinet doors. The price fquoted for these services was the price I paid. I have already recommended him to family and friends, and will hire him again without hesitation when the need arises. It is just so hard to find good reliable contractors that will do what you want them to and not take shortcuts. Thanks to Ed, the process of the remodel was a lot less stressful.

Mr. Conti was prompt, and professional. He did a great job roughing in our kitchen lighting. However, due to a previous, (NOT MR. CONTI) poorly done/unprofessional Angie's list *contractor's job (*see our other contractor job reviews), earlier this year, " to repair our kitchen ceiling dry wall, patch, tape and finish with knock down", Mr Conti could not install the lighting fixtures. We are in the process of re-repairing or kitchen ceiling with a reputable contractor. Stay tuned. We would hire Mr. Conti again and do recommend his professional services.

Ed assessed the problem with our old fan and gave us our options. We decided on a new fan and he installed it quickly and properly for a fair price. Ed is quite knowledgeable and very professional. We will definitely use him for any future electrical work. I highly recommend Ed Conte.

Ed Conte was prompt and professional when he came to give me the estimate and when he came to do the work. Due to the lack of power in the area outside where one of the lights was to go, he had to go from an outlet inside through the exterior coquina wall. He did an excellent job - looks great and the light there and on the other side work fine. He also did a couple of minor things inside - including replacing 2 outlets - and did not charge me anything additional. He was a pleasure to deal with.

Both my daughter and I have used him on two separate occasions. At both appointments Mr. Conte did a great job. He was very professional and is certainly very knowledgeable. He kept searching until he found a solution to my problem and proceeded to fix it. we were both very happy and would certainly recommend him.

Ceiling fan was replaced. However additional work estimate was not received in a timely manner so another contractor was contacted and completed the additional work.

Discovering this problem on a Friday night and company due to arrive on Saturday I searched Angie's List and found Conte Electric. I call on Sat morning around 7:00 and explain my dilemma. Ed Conte was not able to come out but was kind enough to walk me through a few ideas to see if it was something easily fixed. And much to my delight it worked! There was a GFCI outlet in the garage that was tripped. With one push of a button my outlets were working and no charge! Thank you Ed Conte, I will be sure and call you for my next electrical issue.

Everything went really well. Mr. Conte was very knowledgeable and professional. He offered several options and his thoughts on the best solution for my situation and together, with my input, we made the decisions for how to proceed. All of his work looked professional and he was very flexible and accomodating with my time and budget needs. I will use his services again in the future and would recommend him to anyone.

This was a somewhat complicated job to install ceiling recessed light fixtures as we have a second story and the fixtures installed were on the lower level. Ed was very thorough when estimating and commented on the difficulties that may be encountered. He completed the job at the price quoted and was very professional. The job was well done and looks great. I would definitely use Conte Electric again.

Mr. Conte returned my initial phone call promptly. He gave me a fair estimate and made good recommendations on the placement of 13 recess lights in my living room and kitchen. Furthermore, he installed everything exactly as planned without any issues or problems. I would hire him in an instant for future work.

Ed Conte responded to my call immediately and advised me when he could come over to assess the needs. He arrived on time, communicated clearly, consulted with me -- giving useful suggestions and advice, --and was clear on what he would d, as well as the few things he did not advise or was not the right contractor for. Ed provided a very reasonable estimate on timing, parts, and overall cost. On the scheduled service date, Ed and his son, Paul, arrived on time, with all needed parts on hand, and knocked out the list of needs until it was all done. I am very pleased with the results, and will definitely call on Conte Electric again.

Mr. Conte was professional on the phone, listening to my issue. He and his son (a very personable young man) showed up when promised, quickly assessed the problem, and proposed a solution. They then ran a new line from the new microwave oven, and installed a dedicated breaker in the distribution panel. The work was done quickly, very neatly, and at what I thought was an extremely good price.

Ed Conte re-wired my storage unit to convert it to a laundry room. He upgraded the sub-panel, moved the washer and dryer outlets, added wall outlets, and installed lighting. Everything turned out great, and he completed the work in less than two days. Ed was able to listen to what I wanted and give me exactly what I had in my mind. Excellent communication and very easy to work with.

Ed was such a great find on Angie's list! He replaced old, out dated lighting with recessed lighting in three rooms. He educated us on our options, and helped us select lighting placement. In the kitchen lighting placement was a challenge because we had ripped out soffits and cabinets so it wasn't obvious were the lights should go. Now, with drywall completed and cabinets in, the lights are in the perfect locations! He always showed up when he said he would and gave us plenty of notice prior to arrival. He cleaned up after himself - stopped by on a Sunday to assess another task not originally requested (re-routing the wiring behind the soffits) and gave us fair, and honest recommendations (adding GFI outlets in the kitchen). He put up three light fixtures/fans at no charge and even made a special trip at no charge after all work was complete and he was paid out for something that was not related to the original work order. He is professional, punctual, honest and fair. We not only highly recommend him, but are confident that we have found our trusted electrician in Jax. We will have him back to do more work this fall... and probably the fall after that... you get the point. Don't look any further - just call Ed.

Called Ed to visit for an estimate early in the month. He came out the next day earlier than we had agreed, but called prior to arrival explaining his earlier appointment had cancelled. The earlier time worked better for us, too. He gave an estimate for the work and suggested we use an LED strip in the pantry and an LED tacky "reel" of lights under the cabinets. He showed us the reel of LEDs and that looked like a good option. As it happened, we were out of town for the next two weeks and he was booked during that time. He agreed to call us at the last week of the month to set up a date upon our return. He did call to set up a date later in the week and arrived on time for the job. Upon removing the existing switch bank near the pantry in the kitchen, he found the existing 3-way switches was broken. This he replaced as part of the job, even though he had to make a trip to the local store to pick one up. He worked quickly and cleanly, cleaning up after himself along the way and when done - fully aware that the work was in the kitchen, the cleanest place in the house. We are very happy with his suggestions and the final product.

Overall Ed was a professional and cleaned up his work area after he was done. The replaced fuse box was one of the best I have ever seen and he labeled each of the breakers as well. I would definitely use him again and recommend him to anyone else.

,We got Conte Electric's number from a friend who contracted him (Ed, the owner) to do some work similar to what we were wanting to do. Ed came highly recommended by our friend. When he came by to give us an estimate, he spent a good amount of time explaining our options. We already had a back splash in our kitchen which we were concerned about disturbing. Ed's recommendation was to do an alternative to the normal light bars by using a flexible tape adhesive LED lighting (he brought one in so that we could see it ahead of time) that actually comes on a reel and the cost is determined by the linear foot. Ours required 14 ft. He also suggested it not be installed in the typical manner (on the base of the cabinet pointing down, but rather on the lip of the cabinet, facing the backsplash. We are VERY HAPPY w/ the result. He also made some good suggestions re: the placement and number of recessed lighting in the family room. The install took one entire day. Once installed, there was an issue w/ some ringing coming from the recessed lights. After living w/ it for a few days, we called him and he made arrangements to come back in a timely manner. He changed out the 5 bulbs from 130v to 120v and it took care of the problem. Again, we are VERY HAPPY w/ the result. We feel that Ed Conte is reliable, trustworthy and reasonably priced. He definitely went the extra mile to make sure we knew all our options. We usually try to use small businesses when we can and we are glad that we were able to do so again w./ Conte Electric. We will use him again in the future.
