Description of Work: I will have to pay someone to redo the work. The grout still has gaps where some of the old grout was scraped, but new grout was not applied and the new grout is uneven.

Description of Work: Had Bartrams, a Jason Artiste, come out to discuss job as there was 55 sq. ft, 15 ft over the offer. A few days later we were given a total price for the job, not just the additional sq footage. I tried to verify by e-mail, the amount should be the difference from the value listed in the purchased service Plus we set a date for the services to be performed when we would be available which was almost 2 months later. No response for over a month, until I reached out again to verify the date which had been set for 4/18. Did finally get a response saying they had to come out and look at it again and Jason, from Bartrams would be bring the tech that would be doing the job. After looking over the job again he said no, the price he gave me was in addition to what we already paid! The tech he brought wasn't even a Bartrams employee and was initially hesitant about doing the job. Jason with Bartrams gave some very convoluted explanation about how the offers are written, which made no sense, as it's their company putting the proposals out there. The tech finally agreed by phone to do the job, which he did and we paid him, not Bartrams, so as I see it, Bartrams got $269 from us for finding someone to do the job we had to then pay for. The tech, who is also on Angie's list will be getting an excellent rating from us but as for Bartrams, I feel they owe me my money back as they did nothing for it unless that's their finders fee.

Description of Work: We were very pleased with the services provided. They arrived on time, tore out some carpeting and replaced it with tile I provided. Afterward they cleaned up very thoroughly. I intend to call them again to have a backsplash installed in my kitchen. I highly recommend them.

+ -1 moreThis technician was very friendly and knew exactly how to clean carpets! He did a very good job. My carpets look great this morning. They did seem a little wet yesterday but are dry today. I didn't like the fact that when he was done he said I needed to give him a check or credit card for $35.00 above the price I had already paid. I ask why. He said it was for the pet odor in my hall. It did smell better and I would of shredded to it but I felt I should of been consulted BEFORE the treatment was done, not told to just pay up.
Description of Work: The technician pretreated all spots and heavy soiled areas. He did a very good job and didn't rush the steam cleaning. Some cleaners try & go so fast they don't clean very well.

+ -1 morePurchased a deal on Angie's List. It was a little challenging getting an appointment scheduled because of the holidays but luckily was able to get an appointment the afternoon. My carpets had a few pet stains and had not been cleaned professionally in a few years. Bartrum cleaning did an amazing job getting the stains out. I would definitely recommend their service and use them again.

The cleaning ended up needing to be cancelled because they mistakenly had us down for a cleaning in Jacksonville and not on Amelia Island, and they were not able to travel the added distance.

+ 0 moreI had the opportunity to utilize the services of Bartram Carpet Cleaning on 2 separate occasions. The first time was to clean carpeting in 2 rooms, hallway and stairs (18 + landing). I have two small doggies who have had their share of accidents. There were many stains in the carpet and the carpet was an eye sore. I had tried several products in an attempt to clean and remove satins, only to make matters worst. After through inspection, Jason, the owner, first pre-treated the stains, then shampooed the carpet. He was able to get out almost 95% of the stains. Some stains were old and set due to products I used. He finished by applying a scented carpet protectant spray. I had a choice of either a citrus, mint or natural fragrance. I selected the mint which left a very pleasant subtle smell. Rate was extremely reasonable at $175. My second experience involved cleaning my year old hardwood floor. The floor was fine until I decided to put a floor wax on it seeking a slightly higher gloss. I made a total mess of it. My attempt to remove the wax only made the situation worse. Jason to the rescue again. After getting up any loose dirt, he applied a wax remover., than cleaned the floor. My wood floor now looks as beautiful as the day it was put in. Again the charge was very reasonable at $250. I was extremely pleased with the services provided and will definitely use Bartram Carpet Cleaning again.
