Description of Work: Awesome work from Joshua and Josh, who installed a set of kitchen lights. They were efficient, tidy, polite and quick. Highly recommended!

Description of Work: Installed landscape lighting for exterior house and trees. Less than thirty days one light failed; 4 lights remained "on" and would not shut off during the day...called for repair and was fixed only to break down again because of rain water shorting the electrical outlet. Cost seemed too high for the service and equipment provided.

Description of Work: Replaced main panel, including whole house surge protection, and added a plug in for back-up generator. Also performed electrical for our kitchen remodel including moving plugs, adding switches, adding LED under-counter lighting, USB plugs, garbage disposal counter-top air switch. Also added under-house (off-grade home) electrical outlets for "clean-space" climate controlled (de-humidifier & sump) crawl space. Ricky & Lionel were VERY neat, professional and thorough.

Description of Work: Had pool timer relocated from inside garage to outside location near pump. Had them install owner provided freeze protection outdoor timer, new service switch, on owner installed PVC post. They replaced the old pump to timer and service switch wiring. Additionally, they repaired a cover retainer screw on the pump motor. Lonnie, the lead electrician provide information and suggestions for future generator manual transfer switch installation. Lonnie and his assistant Joe were excellent.

Description of Work: We live out of town and had recently purchased a house on St. Augustine Beach as a vacation home. Not knowing any electricians in the area, we used Angie's List to find an electrical company to help us with electrical work needed in the house. American Electrical Contracting had great reviews so we decided to give them a try. This company was very easy to work with. We scheduled an electrician to meet us at the house and were very pleased with their prices and the work they performed. Josh was wonderful. He listened to all of our concerns and was able to give us great ideas on how to get the lighting results we needed. We needed a new and updated electrical panel, ceiling fans placed in all of the rooms and many can lights in the ceiling. Josh and his helpers were very polite, worked fast, and kept a clean job site. There were many times they were in the house with other trades and always tried to stay out of their way and even helped in some situations. We were not able to be at the house for the whole scope of the work. We left a key with Josh and never worried that we would need to oversee the job. He gave us his phone number and wanted us to feel free to call him with any questions or just to see how the work was going. American Electrical Contracting is a great company. They have great employees and their work is exceptional. We would use them again and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Description of Work: They found and replaced a burned out breaker in our fuse panel. Very quick, thorough, and inexpensive.

Description of Work: I have used American Electrical on several occasions for home electrical services. On each occasion, the electricians arrived on time, were polite and answered my questions. They worked quickly and confidently, did good, neat work, and cleaned up after themselves. I plan to use them in the future.

Description of Work: Very professional and courteous. I had three pendant lights installed, plus a fluorescent fixture removed and recessed lighting installed in the kitchen. They cleaned up well after themselves and were very efficient.
