They were very helpful all around, did not mind going in the crawl space below the house. Cleaned up nicely afterwards.

As a sub contractor American Electrical did an outstanding job. Answered all questions and concerns with professionalism. Don't know how much it cost as part of an overall contract. Removed set up materials and cleaned up at the end of the day.

The work was great. They got the job finished quickly and fixed the problem that had been occurring for over 10 years! One of the workers was extremely unprofessional and made some of the people involved very uncomfortable. His partner more than made up for this guys lack of maturity.

Justin was great - helpful and made suggestions on how we could improve our electrical systems against a lighting strike.

I found this company to be easy to work with. They responded quickly to my initial contact and phoned me to keep me updated when my initial service time was not able to be met. Very pleasant to work with, did a wonderful job and cleaned up when they were finished.

Sean was the installer and he did an excellent job of working with us to meet our needs and pointing out potential opportunities and issues. When I realized that I did not point out that I needed quad outlet boxes in an office after he had already installed duplex boxes, he said not a problem and changed them all.

Very polite and thorough. They did not arrive when promised, but were very good about keeping me informed of the changes in their schedule.

We had our garbage disposal originally installed by a handyman with no electrical license. It always sparked when turning it on and off, but one day I stuck my hand down it and felt the electrical current, so my husband disconnected it. When doing so, the electrical went out in half of the kitchen and the dining room. American Electrical came out the day we called and fixed it better than it ever was. I now have 2 outlets and 2 switches by the sink!

They installed a new outlet and changed the in correct wiring to the new outlet.

During a home inspection prior to purchase, several electrical concerns were identified. In addition, there were a few other things I wanted to get done such as wiring for flat screen TV, updating outlets, etc. I found American Electrical thru Angie's List and decided to give them a try. They came out, gave me an estimate and could start the work when I needed. They also worked with the AC/Heating contractor to coordinate schedules for installation of new AC unit. All work was done to my satisfaction. There were a few items that the electrician decided he couldn't safely perform during this visit, so we discussed options. We decided to have them perform some work that wasn't part of the original estimate. I felt the trade-off was very fair, and appreciated the electrician's honesty and concern for safety. This will give me more time to think thru how to accomplish what I want to achieve. I will definitely call American Electrical back in the future.

I asked for a 30 minutes heads up call and it came around 1:30pm. Ryan showed up at 2:05pm and promptly began the work. He has to made a few modifications from the installation instructions due to double sheet rock in my attic. He took the time to explain what he had done and showed me that the modifications were adequate to hold the light fixture. He also took the time to clean up the mess he made and took all trash with him when he left. I will be renting out my house in a few months and American will be on my speed dial for electrical issues.

They called ahead of time to confirm the appointment and arrived soon after. They asked a few questions to clarify where I wanted the timer and completed the installation in about 1 1/2 hours. I have used American Electrical in the past and have been completely happy with their great service.

Fast-courteous-neat-experienced. I called American Electrical on Monday and the appointment was set up for the following day. The 2 electricians called first as I had asked, and showed up on time. We had already purchased the fan and had partially put it together. They listened carefully to what I wanted and realized immediately that I would need a medallion to cover the enlarged hole from the recessed light. They could have made a trip to their shop to get one (thus costing us more money), but they said I could make a quick trip to a home improvement store and get one myself-which I did. While I was gone they continued to work. The somewhat difficult job was completed quickly and exactly as I wanted. The ceiling fan looks like it's always been there. And there wasn't a shred of evidence they'd been here doing work because they cleaned up after themselves so well. Afterwards, we did a walk through of the house looking at future projects we have planned. They gave me some great ideas.

Steve and Jermaine were GREAT! I called to have this work done in addition to a recessed 220 3 prong outlet for my new oven. Well, I didn't need the 3 prong outlet. The installer set the stove up wrong! Steve and Jermaine could have changed out the current outlet to a recessed and I wouldn't have known the difference! But, they were honest and actually moved the oven to the correct position. Now that something rare these days!! They were extremely polite and cleaned up after themselves. I will use this company again in a HEARTBEAT! I plan to use them for my undercabinet lighting.

Geoff and his assistant (Darn, can't think of his name) were great electricians. First, they asked me my wants and needs and then discussed my options. They were polite and courteous as they explained "Code", switches, outlets etc. and then went to work. I have an older home and no doubt at times the job was tedious but they breezed through every challenge. They were professional at all times. When they completed the first trip the work done looked good and they did a great clean up. When they came back to finish the job the experience was the same as the first visit. Great Guys! The end result was a job very well done.

Excellent! I had considered doing the work myself, but after reviewing the attic access, I decided to have a professional do it. When I called for an estimate I was told that this type of work was a service call that would be billed by time spent. They estimated that the work I described might be about $350 to $400. I decided that it was worth that much to me to not be crawling around my attic. They set up an appointment for the next day. The two electricians were on time, went directly to work, cleaned up after themselves, and completed what I asked for in less time than was anticipated. I would definitely call them again for future jobs.

The two electricians arrived at 11:00 am and reviewed what they were going to do and what they were going to install. After opening the breaker panel, they discovered that 8 of our breakers had 2 lines attached to each breaker. That explained, why several of our breakers would trip, when we used our vacuum cleaner in different parts of our house or when we tried to hookup Xmas lights outside. The panel was undersized and was not UL rated. They recommended that we replace the breaker panel, which would eliminate our problems and any potential future problems. In addition, we would be able to use a transfer switch, where we would be able to select the circuits when we used the generator, rather than having the switch hardwired. The additional cost was $200 more, than worth the above benefits. They were very professional and worked until 7:00 pm, rewiring the breaker panel and identifying every line tied to each breaker.

Job went well as planned and they completed all work as agreed. The house did fail the initial electrical inspection for a minor oversite that was quickly remedied.

They were very professional and finished rather quickly. They were thorough in checking all connections to make sure there was no problems and cleaned up afterwards.

The workers were very close to on time and did a great job in recommending how the job should be done and in doing the installation

We have been using American Electrical Contracting for about two years. They are very courteous. They even where booties when working inside, so they don't drag in dirt. They are very responsive in emergency situations. I am very happy with them.

American Electrical does great work. We have used them for years and would not hire anyone else. Extremely professional and are a wonderful company to deal with. I would recommend them to anyone.
