Service was great. Stucco was repaired well enough to look original. Exterior paint was the icing on the cake. House looked like new.

Estimate: The estimate was very smooth. Chris arrived when scheduled and provided a very clear explanation of what could be done to address the various issues on our exterior. The estimate provided clearly delineated multiple options and their associated cost. Scheduling: McIntyre was very flexible, working around other construction I had going on at the property. Quality: The work looks absolutely fantastic. Despite years of poor maintenance by the previous owners, resulting in innumerate cracks and some significant damage, it's now almost impossible to tell where the previous problem spots were.

Chris did the initial estimate and then Wayne, his brother, supervised the job. It only took a few days and I have a big house. They had a great attention to detail and tried very hard to please us. WARNING. There is a "F" rating you might see in one other comment. I asked Chris about this. He said to look--that it was for work in 2010 and IT WAS ANOTHER BUSINESS!! John McIntyre was the owner of that business (McIntyre Exterior) and this business, the "A" one, is McIntyre Painting and Stucco. Angie's list should remove the inaccurate one; but if they don't, please ignore that one as it is inaccurate; call Chris at McIntyre PAINTING if questions. You will really like them if you hire them. Great work.

It went well. Job included pressure washing, window sealing and stucco touch ups. Quality of work and attention to detail was excellent. I had used this company before for some stucco repair and that led me to use them for this project. Chris, the manager was very responsive. Wayne, Chad and Geo did the work and were great in terms of this desire to do a great job. There was one small area that was overlooked and Chris made sure that it was taken care of the next day.

Chris, the general manager, came out for free estimate and quoted a reasonable price. We made an apt for them to do the work the next week. As scheduled, first the two stucco guys came out on Wednesday and did a very professional job and then the next day the 2 painters, Chad and Wayne came out and also did an excellent job. Very pleased with the work and professionalism exhibited by both sets of workers. Would definitely use this company again.

Looks good, cleaned up well when they left. Only issue is that when they did the stucco around the windows they failed to allow for reinstalling the faux shutters, there was not space left to reinstall.

We hired McIntyre to do several stucco repairs on our home in Ponte Vedra. We fell for John's story of falling on hard times and he was restarting his business. John was friendly and persuasive and we agreed to pay for the job the in advance to cover the cost of materials, etc and help out someone who seemed like a good person. After we gave him a check for $6,000 and he cashed in immediately, McIntyre never showed up to do the work. We ended up taking him to small claims court (which he never showed) and we got a default judgement against him and whatever version of the McIntyre Stucco name that he was using at the time. John McIntyre filed bankruptcy and closed his business shortly after and we were very fall down the line in creditors. He has closed similar businesses and reopened several times under similar names. Needless to say, we never got our $6,000 back or our repairs.

Everyone was very professional and personable and Chris Bair went beyond the call of duty to make sure all was done correctly. Highly recommend.

Thomas Masters did a thorough job of determining what work was needed on my house and proceeded to outline materials, price and timeline. He was very communicative and timely responded to all my questions. The initial work included pressure washing my entire house and driveway. The crew was efficient and professional and I could see the improvements even before the paint was applied. A few days later, after tropical storm Colin had moved on, two guys came to the house to do the Stucco repairs and touch ups. I had some holes in one of the front columns which the guys repaired and took the time to explain how the holes developed. The painting crew came a bit later and painted the entire house. They also were very professional, efficient and friendly. The next day, they finished painting the house, including the front and back doors, window shutters and the lanai. Upon completion, they made sure all litter was taken care of and we completed a review of the house to ensure I was completely satisfied before they departed. The house looks amazing. The company was very responsive, professional, and the workers paid extra attention to detail. There was a mix-up with the trim color (my mistake) and the crew foreman called me to see if I intended to change the trim color. I realized I ordered white and should have selected cream. He was very calm and said it would be no problem to swap the color at the store. Throughout the day and a half project, I received regular status updates and had an idea when the crew would arrive. Another item that impressed me was the pressure wash of the entire house before painting began. McIntyre sealed every last crack and crevice on the exterior stucco and even painted the inside of my porch. You can tell the company is run well and the workers care about what they do and strive to ensure the customer is happy. I would highly recommend McIntyre for anyone that needs exterior paint/stucco work completed.

The initial call to schedule a evaluation/estimate went well. They quickly set up an appointment to come out to inspect my house, and confirmed the appointment a few days later. On the day of the appointment, which was on a Friday, the representative showed up early - which was no problem. He called me on the phone, and we talked through the problems I had noticed, and he commented that he did not see too much that was wrong with my stucco, but would complete the evaluation, and have my estimate to me possibly over the weekend. When Wednesday morning rolled around, and I did not have my estimate, I called the main office and got their voicemail. I left a message that I was checking in on my quote, and left my contact information. On Thursday morning, I checked my email to see if there was a quote - and there wasn't. I called the office again, and got their voicemail. I did not leave a message, and decided to call the representative who came out the previous Friday. Well, I got his voicemail too. I again left a message of who I was, that I was looking for the quote, and left my contact information. Feeling a bit frustrated, I called the office agin later that same morning, and got their voicemail again. I went through the process of leaving my message, and stated that even if they were not interested in taking the job, to let me know anyway. Well, here it is late Friday afternoon, and still no response from anyone. A week later - no bid, no follow-up...nothing. Despite all of the great reviews on Angie's List, I will never call McIntyre again.

After getting several quotes, we decided to go with this company due to good reviews on Angie's List. Appointment was set with Amanda for April 28 for them to start the work. Unfortunately, nobody shows up and no calls from them. Then call them back the following Monday and spoke to Thomas. He informed us that he just got back and is trying to catch up with a lot of projects. He will look at the schedule again and call us back. He did not call back! Thinking that he must be really busy and back up with all his works, we waited for 2 weeks. So, on 05/13/16, we decided to give them a call again and this time spoke to Amanda to reschedule the project. Amanda said that she will find out for sure and will personally call us back shortly. Another week went by, still no call, no response! Very unprofessional. If they can't do it anymore, let us know so we can move on to the next vendor rather than waiting weeks to get our chimney repaired.

From start to finish, Tommy Masters was the most responsive contractor I've ever worked with. He quoted the job and followed through by phone or email until the job was completed to my satisfaction. At 8:30 am, a crew of six painters and two carpenters showed up at my house and finished the job in one day. They were neat, quiet, hard-working, professional and all worked well together. I also gauge a company by the way they resolve issues. The painting was getting wrapped up and there was still a piece of rotten wood that needed replacing and the carpenter had left for another job. To put it bluntly, I was hesitant to write a check until it was done. Before I even had a chance to voice my concern, Tommy suggested that I withhold $500 until the piece of wood was replaced the next day. I felt that was a great way to resolve the issue and it gave me great peace of mind. Bottom line, my house looks beautiful and I would hire them again for any future needs. Shout-outs also to Josh, the foreman, and Brannon and Matthew, the carpenters.

This contractor was head and shoulders above any contractor (about 20) I have experienced recently. This company listened, evaluated the problem, and appeared to take a reasonable approach to the scope of work required. (One contractor proposed a pay-as you-go; aka "get all you can' approach). This company worked for my business. They came all the way from Jacksonville Beach to evaluate the problem without promise of the contract. They were personable, courteous, and seemed knowledgeable in the type of work I needed. Even when there was a small hiccup in communication and I became frustrated and ready to cancel, Mr. Masters' accepted ownership of the problem and asked how he could " earn" my business. I could go on, but suffice it to say, they said what they were going to do, and did what they said. I would not only hire them again, but I will refer them to family and friends.

It went great - this is the second time I have used McIntyre stucco and painting the job was done with professional men who were prompt, courteous and knew what they were doing. They are my go to painters.

I had received several offers from other painting services, however McIntyre was the only one that included repairs to damaged stucco rather than just filling and painting. The worker's were very professional and the entire process was done exactly as agreed. Thomas Masters oversaw the work and kept me up to date throughout the entire process. Aside from being a little higher in price than competitors, I have absolutely no complaints. The house looks brand new.

I had 2 odd shaped geometric block windows that needed to be replaced. In addition, the stucco bands surrounding the window had to be modified to accommodate the process. This required a broader skill set than was offered by any window replacement company I could find, and I wanted a one contractor solution. David and Thomas were both exceptional to work with and ensured that I and more important my wife were completely satisfied with the result, including full cleanup and touchup painting after completion. I would definitely use them again.

McIntyre Stucco and Painting is hands down the best company for all of your painting needs. We live out of town and had recently purchased a house on St. Augustine Beach as a vacation home. Not knowing any painters in the area, we used Angie?s List to find a painter. McIntyre Stucco and Painting had great reviews so we decided to give them a try. We called them for an estimate for interior painting and we also needed some exterior wood repair which would require painting. Thomas came out and looked at the job and we had a written estimate within 3 days. Thomas was always available to speak with us any time we called. If we had to leave a message he returned our call as soon as he could. We never felt like we had to worry how the job was running without us there to oversee the work. When we finally got a chance to come to see the work there were a few things that we were not completely satisfied with. I believe the sign of a great company is how they handle a complaint from a customer. We could not have been happier. Thomas dropped what he was doing and came to the house to talk to us about what we were not happy with. He discussed with us what corrections needed to be done. I don?t know if he agreed with all of it, but he wanted us to be happy and assured us he would have them taken care of and, he, himself would oversee the work. He was in the house the next working day with his painters and a crew of other men to get the job done as soon as possible. Thomas stayed on the job and would give us up dates by phone as to what was going on and would send us pictures of the work. He went out of his way to make us happy. He knew, through our conversations, that we were going to put new hinges on all the doors in the house and offered to do that for us at no cost. We ran into a problem with the ceiling after we had to have some duct work replaced a few days before the painting was to start. Thomas looked up someone he knew, contacted them for us, and had them on the job to fix the problem in as little as 2 days. That was not even in his scope of work. He could have just decided it was not his problem but he wanted to help us if he could. We have seen the ceilings and they look awesome. We can?t ever remember working with someone as easy to get along with as Thomas and his crew. It was very obvious that Thomas wanted to stand behind his company and their work and it was very important to him that quality of work was always outstanding. McIntyre Stucco and Painting can do many projects. We will be meeting with Thomas to talk to him about replacing the siding and windows on our house. We are confident that this is the company we will use in the future as they have proven to us that their customers are their number one priority and their work ethic is excellent.

When the estimate was in process, we sat down and discussed all my expectations and requirements then walked around and vetted out what needed to be done. I got an estimate that was precise and covered all the work that was to be done and how the work was going to progress. The job was started on time and Chris, the foreman walked around and discussed what was going to happen with me. The crew did not waste any time and were very professional when i had a question or concern. I was very pleased with the final outcome and would use McIntyre again.
