BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY - TOTAL RIPOFF - DO NOT USE M&D PROMOVERS!!!!!!!!!!! I feel that I have been victimized and miss treated by this moving company. They engaged in an unprofessional behavior, failed to deliver my belongings as promised, and caused me significant stress and hardship. This experience has left me feeling taken advantage of and disrespected. I want to address the troubling treatment of elderly individuals by this present company. It has resulted in both emotional distress and financial exploitation. It's important to highlight that vulnerable populations, like the elderly, deserve protection, and should not be subjected to such abusive practices. In May of 2024 I hired MD Promovers to move items from Lantana Fl. to Aiken SC. They told me I could get it by August 2 if I hired them early and I did. I am 72 years old taking care of my mother who is 94 yrs old. For medical reasons I explained that I needed the items by August 2, 2024, they did not deliver any items until August 29, 2024 putting my 94 yr. old mother in harms way. When items were delivered boxes were broken. My LG OLED 65" television was damage and now unusable, A curio was scratched. This was all due to negligence of care while in their posession and transportation of items. I called immediately and put in a claim on Sept 3, 2024 which is being completely ignored. I called again to Sept. 11, 2024 and again was ignored. They will give me NO claim number or insurance name. I feel they are taking advantage of me because I am elderly. They are clearly victimizing both my 94 yr. old mother and myself at 72.

They are not honest about charges\cost and timelines. We are 3 weeks out and still waiting for our stuff to arrive. They showed up 2 days late and from other reviews it looks like they always say it was an emergency. They don't carry tools and don't pack anything either. They wouldn't take the TV because it wasn't encased to their standards which we didn't know about. So all of the reviews saying they packed collectibles and stuff is FAKE. They constantly tell you things are not their problem such as when they end up working until 2 am because they arrived at 5pm instead of 10am and the building management is having a cow that we are moving during quite hours. Movers are trained to ask for payment via check, Zelle or money order so there it is harder for you to get your money back. Although they promise delivery dates, they will wait until you are pissed off to throw in your face that the Department of Transportation allows them 30 days to deliver your stuff. Tysh is not very honest and you should stay away from this company. If you are moving out of state, DO NOT USE this company!

This company was the worst experience of my life. They completely screwed me over. Stole an additional $5k we didn't discuss, they broke half my stuff, the were 3 hours late picking up and delivering, and now the claims dept thinks giving me back $79 would satisfy me. DO NOT USE THEM. You've been warned

I recently used M and D Pro Movers for my residential move, and their service was outstanding. Their team showed up on time and worked diligently throughout the day. Do not use them. They lie, cheat and steal. Most of my belongings were damaged or destroyed. I requested and paid for a Non-Shared truck, they picked up in a 26-foot truck and immediately delivered it to a warehouse where it was loaded into an 18-wheeler. That was not what I paid for and not what they wrote it in their Binding Moving Estimate , which they inform me is not binding on them. I requested the additional insurance and they refused to let me purchase it. Thousands and thousands of dollars of damage, and they tell me if I packed it they do not pay of damage. I supplied a detailed inventory with all sizes and dimensions, but at pick up they loaded 75% of the volume and informed me to load the balance of the items that were on my inventory list that the price would double. They hit me with a 20% price increase at pickup and an additional 15% price increase at delivery. Telling me they would not deliver if I did not pay the additional amounts. The 20% at pickup was because they said my bedroom set was too big, even though I had supplied the sizes and told them they are huge while they were developing the quote. The 15% at delivery was because they showed up in an 18-wheeler that was not allowed in the neighborhood, even though they were supposed to pick up, deliver and transport with the exact same 26-foot truck as per the agreement in the "Binding Moving Estimate. They should not be in business, everybody and every business makes mistakes, their mistakes were intentional. They do not make good on their errors. During pickup and delivery, they did a lot of damage to both houses, walls, wooden floors. They inform me they are not responsible for any of the damage to either house. They charged me (material and labor) to Box some of my furniture. For the material, they stole boxes I had purchase but not yet used, cut the boxes up and taped them around the furniture. They were paid to disassembler and reassemble beds. They disassembled a poster bed with canopy and lost the parts. The bed is still disassembled and leaning against a wall, scraped up and damaged. The parts are specialty parts, custom made by the manufacturer that are no longer available to buy. They are dishonest and should not be used. It does not matter how many emails you have proving your claims, it does not matter that they wrote the requirements on the Binding Moving Estimate". They will not and do not stand behind their word, promises or supposed commitments.

The worst experience of my life... 4 hours late for pickup and dropoff. Did not leave till after 1 am after dropping off. Lied about square footage pit on truck, had to pay over $5k what was told. They broke three of my furniture pieces and added more fees at drop-off. The manage still has not returned my calls for two weeks now. DO NOT USE THEM!!?!
