They conducted a thorough inspection of my unit and made helpful suggestions that would keep my A/C unit in top condition and reduce the need for service. Excellent value, service and customer relations.

After a few days with the new unit in place, it quit working because of a clog in the old draining pipe. We called them and in spite of being a Saturday, they came and worked long hours up until the problem was solved. On top of that, they fixed by first floor old unit that has just stopped working. And... they did not charge us for that service. That is why they deserve the 5 stars we are given them. Highly recommended.

If you'd rather not read this lengthy review... I'll cut to the chase here... CON-MECH BEAT OTHER ESTIMATES ON IDENTICAL SYSTEM BY NEARLY $700!!! But that is just the beginning as to why they deserve 5 stars! 10 year old AC unit failed and needed to be replaced. I received estimates from two other companies I found online-both of whom have almost all 5 star glowing reviews -yet I didn't have a 5 star experience. Both would only quote one unit/one brand (refused to offer any other options!) and since I had no frame of reference for what a replacement should cost I decided to check Home Advisor. Within minutes of plugging in the info I received a call from Yudel, we set an appt for an estimate, they arrived on time, were very professional and within a few hours I received VERY DETAILED quotes on FOUR different systems, which I really appreciated as it allowed me to do an apples to apples comparison with the quotes I already had on hand. Not only were the prices incredibly fair (and inline w/what a friend in the AC business said they should be) but on one unit in particular the Con-Mech estimate was nearly $700 cheaper for the exact same unit the 5 star Yelper who does "free estimates" gave me! Beyond beating the pants off others price wise, Yudel was highly responsive via texts to the many many questions I had (he responded at all hours of the day/evening/weekend) and jumped through hoops to get the unit installed ASAP when the building management made it nothing short of a nightmare! Fyi, he was willing to install after 5pm or on Sunday or the holiday at no addl charge! I've heard of this for repairs but never for the replacement of an entire system! As far as the install, it was done in just a few hours when no one was home (that's how much we had grown to trust him!) and other than walking into a unit that was cooler than we'd left it, you couldn't tell anyone had even been there! The place was COLD AND SPOTLESS! Thanks, Yudel! You made what started out as an absolutely excruciating process painless!

The customer service is excellent at Con-Mech, Inc. I booked a last-minute appointment on HomeAdvisor one afternoon to get an estimate on replacing my downstairs A/C and Yudel Cubillas called me within 2 minutes while I was still online to discuss the estimate and the appointment. The A/C tech (Ismael) arrived at my house that same evening exactly at the time they promised. Both Yudel and Ismael are excellent communicators and very friendly. At about 9:30pm that same night, Yudel emailed me 3 detailed quotes for different A/C brands. I called Yudel at about 9:30pm to get his opinion and he was perfectly fine with having a discussion about the project at that time of night. We settled on a brand and I immediately gave him Notice to Proceed. They came out the next day and installed the compressor and the day after that they installed the handler inside. After completion, Yudel came out to inspect the work and made sure all the finishing touches were taken care of. These guys are sticklers for customer service and are so nice that I would invite them to my next party (and I just met them). Needless to say, I would highly recommend these guys.

Yudel Cubillas, the AC tech was the most professional I have come across in a long time. He carefully explained the scope of the work and went above and beyond what was promised. He is the only AC guy I would use in Miami.

Met all our expectations. Good communicators - discussed the various options for our project and shared the pros and cons of each. Dependable and pleasant to work with - showed up on time and completed the project without delay. Did their best to minimize dirt and dust in the house and cleaned up after the project. Bottom line: it was one of those rare home improvement projects where everything was done right the first time.

I am a 71 year young person and a new parent of a 17 month young daughter. We moved and purchased in Miami Beach and have only experienced one horrible contractor after another. Some tried to help us but over all this owner and his contractor were easy to talk to and gave us more than we expected in the job they did for us. I can only say as of the communication and the skills and willingness to do a professional job for us was fantastic and I would definitely recommend them and use them again. The man they sent really cared.

The contractor arrived early with all of the parts needed to make this special air conditioner installation a perfect fit where it was needed. I fully recommend this company, because they have great customer service, positive workers, and a great work experience. I am very pleased with their work. Fast and professional. Great work done.
