The process was quick and fair. They measured, manufactured, and installed the shutters in a reasonable period of time. All of my interactions were professional even with the installers. I would highly recommend A/C Shutters. In fact other family members are now using them.

I couldn't recommend AC Shutters and Awnings more highly. Armando Colon and his crew were professional, efficient, and provided a top quality product. The entire process was smooth from the first contact. I felt very comfortable with Armando's degree of expertise. AC Shutters took care of the permits and installed my new shutters within a very reasonable amount of time. Armando also volunteered to assist should any issues arise with my shutters in the future. AC Shutters did an excellent job.

I guess like most homeowners when work is needed to their homes, calling a unfamiliar contractor is right up there with having a root canal without anesthesia. I contacted three Angies List contractors to give me estimates to install Accordion Storm Shutters for my home, (getting too old for the panels). Well anyway one never showed, another gave me a through the roof price even though I told him I was getting 3 estimates, then Armando the owner of AC Shutters and Awnings showed up, He was right on time. He is very professional and knows his product. he explained in detail exactly what he was going to do down to the brand name of the anchor bolts. He gave me a Quote which that I thought was very fair and reasonable. . I contracted with him that visit. He told me it would take about 4 weeks for fabricating and permits. He was right on the money, 4 weeks later my shutters were installed. His installer did a great job. Armando called to follow up to see if I was satisfied with the job. Armando and his team were of the utmost professionalism. Their work is summarized by the county inspector who, upon code inspection, informed that "if the work is done by Armando Colon, I do not really have to inspect his work. It is always of the most professional work I have inspected". Armando measured all the windows, garage door and side entrance. I was doing renovation on the house as we were installing the shutters. Armando came down several times to work with the renovating crew to measure and remeasure the windows spacing. On the appointed time, the crew showed up, took down the existing iron grills and installed the accordion shutters. Once the garage door was ordered and delivered, it was installed to a perfect fit. I had a side door that was unusable and it was replaced and is now used constantly. I have already recommended AC Shutters and Awnings to my neighbors and one of them is already replacing his garage door and side door. I will be using AC Shutters and Awnings for future work and would highly recommend them. Armando is the best!

i would give armando and ramon six stars if i could. They provided exceptional service in a very prompt and professional manner. armando came to my home, took all the measurements and showed me the various types of shutters available and the pros and cons of each. They were permitted, fabricated and installed in less than 10 days. they also quickly came back when i needed some additional instruction on a tricky corner shutter, and they did some adjustments to other shutters while they were here. i recommend them without any reservations. it's rare to see the level of professionalism and reliability i encountered with these guys. We got some work done in the back yard and had to take them off and then installed them later. It went great; I liked them. They left the area good after they completed it.

he did an excellent job. got permits, dealt with condo associations, he was on time and couldn't be more helpful he noticed my sliding door locks were rusting and replace two of them for his cost. in addition to putting in new shutters he repaired other shutter at my condo and did not charge me highly recommend him

Armando did a nice job installing shutters over my garage window. He is polite and knowledgeable and was able to handle the permitting requirements and inspections. My one complaint, that I shared with him, is that he did not follow up all the time with phone calls and some tasks. This added unnecessary confusion and complication that prompt phone calls would have avoided. My overall impression is positive though.

We decided not to do the work

First, I can't believe I hadn't given a review for Armando right away. I think about him every time I use the shutters so I wanted to correct my mistake. He is an outstanding professional. As a consumer, I am always afraid of paying for a job that wasn't as good as I had hoped for. Armando was fantastic from the first time I met him for the estimate until I happily paid for the work done. They removed the old studs from my hurricane panels and installed the new accordion shutters. They work beautifully and are so easy to use, that I close the ones on the sides and back of the house when I'm on vacation. It only takes about 15 minutes total. I would definitely call him again for shutters, awnings, etc.

From estimate to county inspection everything went smoothly and on schedule and generally very well. Armando had great suggestions about how to solve issues we had with a couple of problem doors. Everything came out perfect.

It went great. They had the right insurance for our condo building, did a thorough and excellent job. They had to scale from the top of the building to do the windows, and they were very professional throughout the entire process.

Armando and his crew were very professional. This particular installation was difficult due to issues with the condo association, but Armando handled the situation well. He handled everything from the permits through to the installation. I haven?t had to use the shutters yet, but Armando stated that he will come out and show me how to service them when the time comes. I?m pleased with the service, and highly recommend AC Shutters.

I picked the color and gave him 50% down. He came back 2 weeks later and installed the awning as originally promised. Armando explains and don't try to push you into anything that you don't need. He also show different solutions for any issue you may want to correct or any plans you have according to your budget.

Excellent service. I am very happy with the final product. Armando was there from the first meeting to do the estimate to the final inspection making sure everything was in place and that we were satisfied. He and his crew were punctual and efficient. A real pleasure working with people like that and the accordion shutters look fantastic too!
