He was really, really, really nice. My experience was very good. We had a better experience than before even though the company we had before worked very well. They were very nice even the guy he sent, because the owner sent somebody. They worked out in my favor to make sure that I didn’t spend more money and it will look better and work well for me. And then they removed the shutter when Champion was ready to put the pavers down, we called them and they came the day after. They came the time they say and the guy was really good. I asked him a lot of questions and he went back to me and he said it sounds like you had many bad experiences and you care and you know what you are talking about. I said yes because I have many companies in my house we have many experiences. He said no I understand. I don't know how they get a good review when they do bad work but don't worry. You are not happy you talk to the owner and you deal with him. He made me feel very happy.

From the first phone call to Armando, we knew that he was different than most of the other vendors we had contacted for estimates. He came out to measure and gave us an estimate. ?We then waited several weeks and got many more estimates before finally contracting with Armando. ?From that moment on, everything went smoothly. The shutters were installed as promised and on time. ?Armando was always available to take our calls and whenever we left a message, he called back promptly. ?He was attentive to detail and had a wonderful personality. In addition, since we hired the subcontractor through him, he told us that ultimately he was the responsible party. ?And he stayed true to his word. ?Even though we leo kept in touch with the subcontractor directly, Armando was always aware of the timeline and also kept in touch with the subcontractor to make sure things went as promised. I can't say enough good things about this company. ?I would recommend them to my friends, family and anyone else who asks about shutters and hurricane impact windows. Armando went above and beyond our very high expectations.

It was a pleasure to work with AC Shutters and Awnings. Exceptionally professional from the moment the contract was signed up until the project was completed. Extremely considerate of my time. Would definitely recommend to everyone I know.

Armando was a super hero for us. We bought a home that was fitted with awful panel shutters and wanted to upgrade as a priority in the midst of a ton of other things we had to have done. He came out to give us an estimate. My husband requested that Armando give us two separate quotes. One for upstairs as a priority and a second quote for downstairs in four weeks so that we could stagger the expense with everything else we were having done at the new house. Armando not only beat all other quotations from competitors, but included permit acquisition and costs in his figures so we had everything totaled up so that we could budget. Then he offered (and we accepted) to do upstairs and downstairs at the same time and allow us to pay for the downstairs in a month so our budget would not be thrown off. And he also had his crew remove the unsightly previous panel tracks and fill those holes and touch-up paint those filled holes at no extra cost. His crew was prompt, quick, professional and swiftly got everything installed to perfection. They didn't speak much English, but my word, they were efficient, and nothing needed to be said. They were spot on. Armando later came back on his own volition and did a full up and down inspection of the handiwork of his crew t ensure that he was personally satisfied by the company's work. My children were home when Armando came back to inspect, and he took the time to show them how to operate the shutters from inside and out.

Armando came promptly and gave us an estimate. He explained the materials and process very clearly. We felt assured that he knew his business, and he did. His workmanship was excellent. His price was a bit higher than one estimate and way lower than the other. We chose his company because we had confidence in his knowledge and work. When he finished the job he came back to make sure we knew how to use the shutters. In HIS inspection of the work done by his employees, he was not satisfied with 2 of the installations. He had his workmen back a couple of days later with him to complete the work to his standards.

Armando was great. He took his time to explain the process. He was on time and was extremely professional. I would recommend him for the job.

Owner was very nice and professional. Worker accidentally damaged and killed a shrub and I was fully compensated for it.

Armando showed to the appointment on time. He explained the different products and the process. We had done research on our own. We requested license & insurance papers before the contract was signed. On contract day, he brought all the papers and we requested that upon completion of work he would provided us with release of lien for product material and closing of permit; which he did. The installation was done on time and we our satisfied with the outcome.

Really excellent. Superior technical and personal service. The first time I met Armando I was impressed with his expertise and friendly manner. He gave me options and some good advice about another job I was having done. During installation a problem arose due to protruding door knobs on security bars. Armando got personally involved and solved the problem with some precise cutting and welding. To top it all off he stuck to the original price quote, despite extra work and materials needed.

The provider, AC Shutters & Awnings, Inc. sent their worker out on a timely basis. He had the correct equipment to finish a job that was done incorrectly from a previous worker. (Note previous worker was not from Angies List) This company should defitnitly be mentioned in the "Pages of Happiness". I highly recommend this company.

DO NOT HIRE if you are a woman!!! He does not take women seriously. The only reason my job was ever finished was because my boyfriend came back home after being gone for 2 months. I waited over two months before my job was completed and there was no installation.. The only reason I did not pull the plug and go with someone more polite and interested in getting the job done is because of the price. I was tight at the time- I would not recommend this provider to anyone ever. It took about a week after initial contact for him to even return my call. He used the "its been raining" excuse about 6 or 7 times which made sense until I realized that all he was doing was making a delivery of panels and not installing anything. Anyway after he finally got to the house with the panels he was short- as in did not have all of them. So I had to wait longer to get the rest of them. Hiring this man caused stress and was not worth the hassle what so ever.

I contacted A C Shutters & Awnings because, when I was testing our shutters for this year's hurricane season, one of the roll-downs came down fine but got stuck going back up. I let them know that they could contact me by either phone or email, whichever was more convenient. When I received no response, I called another company on Angie's list, because the shutter that was stuck was the one over our front door and it was preventing us from using that door. The second company responded right away. It has now been 12 days, and I still have not received ANY response whatsoever from A C Shutters and Awnings.

Armando was very fast returning my call and giving me the quotation. He was always nice and polite. The price was good, not the cheapest one, not the most expensive one. To install the shutters took a while because the city took its time to approve the permit. I have not used the shutters but they look strong and nice.

The workman came out with his young son who didn't seem to know what he was doing. They made the awning so short it doesn't protect any of our things underneath. My cat can't even keep dry because it's so short.

So far I've had excellent services with them. They call in all the time to check in and the worker is always here on time. So it's pretty good.

He did a great job. Very professional. Fair warning, if you hire him, you need patience. I had to call him several times over the span of about a month to get the job done. However, once he showed up, everything was done in that one day.

They were friendly, prompt and I will use them again.

AC Shutters did an excellent job with our shutters. Armando Colon, the owner was very responsive to phone calls and very pleasant to work with. His workman worked straight through, so we were inconvenienced only one day. Armando personally inspected the installation after completion. He also showed us how to open and close the shutters the proper way. Our shutters easily passed inspection here in Pinecrest, which has tough inspectors. The inspector commented on how well the shutters were installed on our patio window with a pass-through. Apparently, shutters for windows with a pass-through often will fail inspections.

Wonderful!!! Armando is such a nice, polite young man. The work was done on time and the cost was reasonable. He answers his own phone and is extremely accommodating. I have already recommended him to my friends and I would certainly use him again.

Called provider to make an appointment for an estimate. Provider agreed an date and time. Provider never showed, and never called back.

Armando Colon, the owner of the company was very professional and great to work with. From his first visit and estimate to the last visit after shutters were finished, he was always punctual, patient and accommodating. The products he installs are very well made and had no problem passing the permit final inspection. Ramon, who installed the shutters was very efficient and worked around some challenging configurations of our older home's many sliding glass door locations. He finished the job in one day and before he left. cleaned up and made sure to educate me on how the shutters worked. This company did a great job from beginning to end and I highly recommend them.

We planned on having an awning installed to cover our back patio, so we called for an estimate. To our dismay, the nice rep said it couldn't be done, due to overhead power lines. Although we were disappointed, we appreciated that he took the time to drive over and suggested options. We eventually built a wooden pergola, as he advised.
