We hired him to do two jobs. The first was drywall refinishing of our ceiling. The quality of the work was okay, We then hired him to paint the exterior of our home which is large and was a dark color. We told him clearly that we would be painting it an off white. He gave us a quote that closely matched what we received from others. He started the job August 9th and by mid October it was clear he wasn't going to finish it. Initially it seemed like he was going to do a good job, but he didn't seem to understand that when you paint a house you don't want the old color to show through the new. We had multiple discussions with him and showed him the many areas with the old gray showing through. He kept trying just pass it off as shadows. We finally had a painter from another state that was down visiting friends come look at the house. He immediately saw what we were talking about, and said the house needed at least another coat sprayed on it. We relayed this Patterson who came out with a brush and proceeded to touch up areas he saw, when in reality the coating over the entire house was not adequate. He continually complained that he was upside down on the project and had used 60 gallons of paint. I repeatedly told him the other quotes we got were very close to his. We told him multiple times we expected him to cover again by spraying. This was the end of October. He just stopped showing up. Would not recommend in any form or fashion.

Mr Patterson is a PRO in every sense of the word. His work is perfect!! He responded immediately to my request, set an appt to come look at the job and showed up at the appointed time, Later that day he emailed me a quote which I felt was very reasonable and fair. We scheduled the job and again he arrived at the appointed job, completed it in the time frame quoted and the job was perfect. It was refreshing to work with a contractor that delivered what he promised when he promised it...Believe me whan I say this is a RARE quality with contractors and tradesmen in my area. He not only is very knowledgeable about his craft but he stood by his quotes and everything he said he would do was accomplished. I would hire him again and considering him for another interior job. This painter did the whole job without help..we all know how difficult it is during this time to get help. Vern, was diligent about this job, knowing we wanted it done in a timely manner...and it was!! We would definitely recommend Vern to anyone.

On time very helpfull

Vern was very personable, knowledgeable, and professional. His work was OUTSTANDING. He did the exterior painting of my mother-in-law's 2700 sq ft house. It was done in a week. He power washed everything (including driveway and mailbox). He fixed small cracks in the concrete block then painted. I was impressed when I stopped by that EVERY window had plastic taped over them so the paint would not get on the glass. When the job was finished, it was beautiful and the house looked new. There wasn't any overspray on anything and he used 3 different colors. I would recommend him to anyone and we will definitely hire him again.

Vern painted and repaired the walls, ceiling and trim inside of our home and did a great job. He was on time and a steady worker. Very knowledgeable on different types of paint to use. He is a very kind and nice person. You can rely on his professional work. His price is very reasonable for what he did for me. He painted my cemented patio floor, and did an extra service such as moving my plant pots in patio that he is able to clean and paint it. He also moved my pots back to my patio next day. He did paint the frame of my garage door which was peeled off without charging an extra fee for his service.
