A great experience from start to finish. We were contacted right away and had the estimate the next day. The work was finished 2 days earlier than promised and the replacement glass shower door is beautiful. Fit and finish is top notch. I wish we had more work for them to do. I would recommend Glass By Design to anyone with pleasure.

Bob was punctual, his prices are reasonable and work performed was good. The material used is very nice and the installation was quick and looks great. I was very happy with his work.

Couldn't be more pleased with the materials and the professionalism. They delivered what was promised and more important took the time to discuss the requirements they understood what we wanted. I used a few other contractors on a large remodeling project we are doing and this is something rare. Most contractors try to make sure you understand what they want to do or how it should be done. Not these guys....contract with confidence.

He is extremely punctual, and always showed up a few minutes before his scheduled appointments. Bob provided his email, as well as his phone number, and always answered all of my questions and requests quickly. I am extremely happy with the job that Bob did, and would highly recommend him when you need a frameless glass shower enclosure installed. Having lived in South Florida, Fort Lauderdale, for more than 30 years, I have dealt with many contractors. Very few of them rise to the level of competence that Bob does... he really knows his business! Prior to selecting Bob, I received an estimate from another glass contractor. Bob's price was within $15 of the competitor. I know that I made the right decision to go with Bob, and will do so again when I am ready to do my next shower enclosure. Bob handled everything from initial call to installation. The final product looks very nice. He was responsive, punctual, and gave us a good price. The installation was fast and he was careful to protect the surrounding areas during the installation. We are happy with the job and would recommend him.

Bob did an outstanding work in our bathroom! We got a frameless shower door and glass installed. I found them in my local ad magazine, checked their web site and saw they've done many bathrooms well. The process of getting door/glass was very smooth. To scheduled an appointment was easy, he came to measure the next day. Bob got all the info needed so he know what to fabricate, answered all my questions and showed me how it will look. I got few quotes from other vendors on Angies list but he was the only vendor to understand what I am looking to do from the very beginning and he knew how to do it, what hardware is required and what to measure so it's right. The other top rated vendors here weren't able to get it done or wasn't sure how to do it. I have a shower pad which corners and a 4 ft with a wall part of the shower, where the glass sits and an opening with an angle for the door. Most of the vendors said they can do only door with a frame, but Bob was on top of the game and knew that a frameless door is doable. A quote was sent to me in a day, I've mentioned Angies list and got the 10% off applied, what a nice surprise. The price was good, right where most were quoting. After placing the order it took him less than a week to do the installation. The installation took under 2 hours, very clean and smooth. The door/glass are looking great, it's been few months now and all is working well for us. Very pleasant to work with Bob and Glass by Design!

Robert was a pleasure to work with - right from the initial call. Bright, personable and responsive. We needed to replace a framed glass shower enclosure that had deteriorated. He came out and met with my wife within an hour or so after I had called him. Discussed it all with my wife, took measurements, and estimated a price for a frame-less glass replacement. After he left, I received a call at my office explaining that he would send the estimate to me via e-mail and if we agreed with price, terms, etc., just to sign it and return to initiate the project enabling him to order the 3/8 inch glass, materials and hardware we requested. I signed and we went forward. Materials came in on time, and Bob called my wife to schedule the installation for that day. He removed the old and installed the new in about 2.5 hours. They cleaned up, carried off all the old materials, and left the bathroom absolutely spotless. Within minutes, I received a text message at my office from Bob signaling they had finished. Smile - he also included a picture of the installation. I couldn't have been happier. These guys have been doing designs in glass for a long time. They know what they are doing, understand design and communicate clearly - verbally and on paper. Bob is tech-savvy, so emails, text and images make the details go quickly. It was a genuine pleasure to have the opportunity to work with him. Oh, and BTW, their price is exceptionally fair.

Bob Martinez was the only one who responded to my request to repair shower doors that were banging against each other. He called the next day and promised to be out on Monday. Although he arrived in the early evening, he made sure to keep his promise that my job, although small, would be taken care of. He also was able to replace the sweep underneath the shower door. He approached his work with expertise and patience and left me with confidence that my doors would once again meet as before.( something other contractors were unable to do.)He was polite, personable and a pleasure to work with. Should I want to do any other glasswork, Glass by Design would definitely be my choice.

Mr. Marrinez provided an accurate estimate that did not change and had the work done within one week. Beautiful door installed with no mess. Very friendly and professional. Bob was very available both through email and phone. He was able to schedule an appointment quickly. When he came by he seemed knowledgeable and gave some valuable advice. The glass was ready sooner than expected and the workers installing it were competent and did a good job. The door sits well and performs as expected. Overall Bob did a good job ahead of time to a very fair price.

Install was fair, but there was a scratch on one part of the glass. I called the owner, he said that he would send someone out - never happened. This year I contracted to re-tile bathroom. I called to ask about the cost for removing & reinstalling enclosure. I had to call 3 times in 2 weeks until someone was able to speak to me. They couldn't find my file. My installer ended up doing the work. When I went to their shop last week to find a piece to put on the bottom of the enclosure, the owner told me off. He said I should have hired him, as my tile man did not know what he was doing. The owner (Bob) was rude & nasty to me & said that it was my fault because I didn't hire them. After 10 minutes of lecturing and telling me off, I had to leave. I normally don't get upset, but when I left I was shaking and almost in tears. He is unprofessional & rude. I found another co. who will help. They have been in business for 30 years.
