Description of Work: He didn't show up on time so we cancelled.

Description of Work: Finished the whole house rewire including new lights, fans, panel and sub panel. I put a long review earlier but said I'd follow-up when they were done. The final total cost was $28k and that was hard to but it was well worth it and they were great. I would definitely hire them again and I feel lucky we got them.

Description of Work: Company never contacted me, following several email correspondences to Angie's list from me. Angie's List also contacted vendor, and still never heard back from vendor. Purchased deal on 5/14th. Vendor has lost all credibility.

Description of Work: I purchased the Big Deal for ceiling fan install from a provider with "Rapid Connect" saying they would be in contact with me within 2 days. I proactively sent an email to the email address listed on the "Big Deal" and gave my email address and phone number to schedule service. After about a week I still had not heard from the provider. I sent a follow-up message, waited another week with no call or email response, then I had to get the work done so I installed the fan myself. Note: this provider did not do any work for me and this grade/review is not a refection on their quality of work. It's only a commentary on the lack of responsiveness.

Description of Work: Did not respond for several days after promised response time. Multiple attempts to reach by phone. When finally connected the earliest available appointment was over a month away.

Description of Work: No communications. They asked to give them my availability which I did. Did not hear from them ever since.

Description of Work: They called to say that they did not service my area thinking I was in Grass Valley because my area shows as Grass Valley on Angie's list account. I am living in Tiburon and he said it was still too far for them to come all the way from Fremont and to contact Angie's list to get a refund.

Description of Work: I have a large (4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms) 1911 home with unusual features (such as mini kitchens in some bedrooms). Quick Elecetric was indeed quick getting back to me, and were thorough inspecting my home. They were easy and forthcoming with useful information on the safety/set up of my home's electricity. They gave me a detailed write up of minor to moderate issues-including simple fixes that a handy man could do. They helped me understand the pros and cons of some bigger issues without giving me an uncomfortable, hard sell. I certainly recommend them.

Description of Work: Everything went well. Electrician was excellent in understanding my instructions and executed exactly as I wanted. So I am a Satisfied Customer.

Description of Work: Did not return e mails thru Angie's list, had to call, estimate was double others slow to schedule, when N there was an issue with schedule, multiple e mails and calls , which none where returned. Finally left an e mail and phone message to cancel service. Poor customer service, not . Would never recommend. Worst experiences I had had with Angie's list vendors

Description of Work: Quick Electric inspected our house electrical panels, outlets, lighting, and appliance circuits. Inspection of the attic was not performed even though this was part of the Angie's List deal (but to be fair I did not ask for it). In general the inspection was informative regarding strict electrical code regulations, and they emphasized electrical safety and fire hazards. However, the communication of problems was done in an alarming way, as if I had done the original low quality electrical work myself, and that I needed to have several thousand dollars of work done immediately.

Description of Work: Contractor called 15 minutes before appointment time and said they couldn't get their truck started. They could not give any time when they might be there, and we both took days off from work to make the appointment that was scheduled 2 weeks in advance.

Description of Work: Quick Electric performed an electrical inspection on my home. They were prompt and thorough in checking all outlets, panels, and even noticed a couple light fixtures that were loose. When they noticed one fixture was extremely loose, they fixed it free of charge. The guys were quick and gave me a very thorough estimate of improvements that should be made to my electrical system. I would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: I called them today to make an appointment, based on the reviews on Angie's List. First of all, an answering service answered the call, without any knowledge other than to say the electrician would absolutely get back to me today. I have not received any call back. I will move on to someone else on Angie's List. However, given that this is my first experience with Angie's list, I am now also concerned about Angie's List and whether or not I've waisted my money signing up to their service.

Description of Work: I hired them to install a carbon monoxide alarm, via the Angie's list "big deal" promotion. Very professional. They arrived early, but were willing to wait. Completed the installation quickly and efficiently. I marked them down on: (1) price--seems like $198 was very expensive for 10-15 minutes work. (I think the device they installed is available at Home Depot for approximately $50-$60, so they charged me approximately $138-$148 for the actual time spent doing the installation); (2) responsiveness (had to call 2x to get the appointment--initially they did not call back). All other aspects were good.

Description of Work: He was quite thorough and knew what he was doing. Since I had a short, he came quickly and repaired it within 45 mins of the call. He was confident, and trust worthy. I would use him again.
