I called Henry Electric Co. on Monday and reached the helpful receptionist, Sandy, immediately. I told her I was on a tight time frame for the electricity to be shut off in a wall that was scheduled for removal the following week. She immediately scheduled an estimate visit, and Mr. Henry himself arrived promptly on Wednesday morning. After a consultation with him, where I told him about other electrical problems in the home, he recommended some important changes to the electricity in my kitchen, which I had not realized was a problem. I'm grateful to him for the suggestion since he probably saved me a lot of future problems with the wiring as it was. I received an estimate via email, and responded with an emailed reply that the costs were acceptable. A phone call on Thursday afternoon, and Shelby and his son arrived promptly Friday morning. They went straight to work with the ceilings and receptacle installation. They cleaned up carefully all along the way, so we never had to deal with accumulated mess on the floor or dust in the air. The two of them were very courteous, professional, and eager to answer any question we had during the time they worked to complete the contracted work. Although Mr. Henry estimated that the work would take two days, Shelby completed the job in about 6 hours. He also checked the power to a small cabinet light that no longer functioned, and told me it just needed a new halogen bulb! It's now working fine. Although Henry Electrical Co., isn't the cheapest way to go for electrical service, the work they do is worth every penny. I'll definitely call them for any other electrical work that I will need in the future.

We have used Henry's Electric 3 times. The first time was to fix a circuit breaker. They came out the same day and fixed it, allowing hair dryers to be used again :) The second time was to replace the circuit breaker panel in the garage. It was an old recalled model that had caused fires. They did a great job. The third time was to wire 4 ceiling fans correctly. Our house being an older house, had the power cords in chains on the exterior walls instead of in the walls. They wired the fans in the ceiling and walls and used 2 wall switches to control the fan light and fan. Again, they did a really great job. We would definitely use them again. They are very professional and do excellent quality of work. They showed up on time each of the 3 times we used them. You could probably find somebody that would do the work for cheaper, their prices were not outrageous, but not the cheapest. With electrical work I prefer to use somebody that I feel confident in and we would recommend Henry's Electric.

Chuck Henry came to give us a quote, and he made a suggestion we hadn't thought of ourselves which was what we did. We moved a chandelier from one place to another. The work was done quickly, cleanly, and professionally by Shelby two days later. He showed up on time and completed the job efficiently.

For me to take the trouble to review a company - it's either from a terrible experience, or a wonderful experience. With Henry Electric Company - it was a wonderful experience. Working with David and Steven was a complete pleasure. They are do what they say, and say what they do kind of people. Their prices are very competitive, and are problem solvers that won't take advantage & drain your wallet. They did a project that another company wouldn't quote & made it look easy! I recently hired them for two different projects, and will be calling them back a third time for a new project. I would easily & highly recommend them to anyone.

I had such a great experience with Henry Electric and wanted to make sure I gave my review.

I made 4 calls to Henry Electric for various electrical jobs, and each time the response was courteous and prompt. Electrical services were provided on 5/26/12, 5/30/12, 6/7/12, 8/15/2 and 8/22/12. An electrician named "Charles" who was sent each time to perform the work, demonstrated solid knowledge and excellent skills in performing the electrical work requested. He kept us informed of his plans for performing the work, any problem(s) encountered and changes he will make to his original plan of action. All work was performed to our satisfaction......Charles did an excellent job each and every time and work products were superior/excellent. The work sites were at all times left clean. I would, and do intend to use Henry Electric Company for any and all of my electrical needs and would highly recommend this company for electrical work needed.

When I first called, they were able to send someone out that afternoon, but I could not stay home to meet a technician, so we scheduled for a few days later. Also, the receptionist reminded me of afternoon rains when I mentioned a certain day, and so we picked yet another day that I could be home in the morning. I was grateful for her advice. Shelby arrived right on schedule, he was very pleasant, but didn't waste time chatting. The lights have been operating just fine ever since. The receptionist told me I would receive $10 off the first invoice for using Angie's List. Shelby didn't put that on the ticket, and I didn't remember it until later. I plan to call Henry Electric in the future for my electrical needs.

We have had Henry Electric more than once. They are always on time and very efficient. No complaints whatsoever. Prices extremely reasonable. We would have no other electrical contractor here.

Everything went very well. He was very efficient and got right down to business which I appreciate when I am paying someone by the hour. A couple days later, I called to let him know that a light wasn't working in the fan he installed. He came right over and fixed it.

Called for a quote & David came out the same day to assess the project. The price quoted was reasonable and the job was completed on-time. Professional, timely, and courteous service from David & Steven! Highly recommended!!

I didn't like the sales pitch for jesus christ

I called Henry Electric at approximately 8:30 this morning hoping to be able to schedule an appointment. The receptionist (Judy? Sorry, I didn't write down her name) took my info and immediately put Chuck Henry on the phone to ask more detailed questions. Unfortunately my electrical box wasn't labeled so I was unable to give him accurate information. No problem, Chuck decided to drive out to take a look so he could be sure to get the correct breaker for my panel. He drove out to Sanford, looked at the box and made a phone call to confirm the manufacturer. He then left to go get the breaker that he was told was in stock in Sanford. A little while later he called me to inform me that the right breaker was NOT in stock in Sanford and he had to head to Altamonte to get the part and he would be back later. A short while later he called to tell me he would be back in a few minutes. He arrived with the breaker in hand and proceeded to swap out my faulty arc fault breaker with an updated model that would be less problematic. He was on of the friendliest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He was prompt, communicated extremely well when there was a delay and arrived when he said he would. I don't often get to work from home so same day service with NO EXTRA CHARGE was a great surprise. When he wrote up the bill I told him to forget the Angie's List discount they offer to make up for his having to drive all over town to get the correct part. He would have none of it. He said simply "Either we believe in what we believe or we don't." and gave me the discount anyway. In addition, I asked him about adding another circuit to our home office because I thought maybe I had too many items plugged in to a single circuit. After checking the room and the number of things plugged in he stated that we were fine and didn't need an additional circuit. He turned down business simply because we didn't need it. That says a lot about him and his company. Great people. I couldn't be happier and will definitely call them again if we need more electrical work. Thank you Chuck!!!

Easy to contact on the phone and set an appointment with. Got the electrician immediately after contacting the main number. He was punctual, priced right, helpful, honest, professional, and very knowledgeable. I would definitely have him back again.

They arrived on time and with very positive attitudes. They worked quickly and cleaned up when they were done. They were a little chatty, but that's OK because I was very happy with the speed of the job, the quality of the installation and the size of the bill.

Wonderful from start to finish. Charles called ahead of time and showed up when he said he would. We didn't get estimates ahead of time, because we just needed it done, so he really could have overcharged us, but he didn't. He worked quickly, was professional and personable, and charged us less than what I had expected it was going to cost us. In the end, I absolutely would recommend them and I have found an electrician to use from now on!

Paul showed up the day and time he said. He was very knowledgeable in his trade and knew exactly how to help us with our renovation. He ran 3 new dedicated lines and installed under cabinet lighting I purchased from the local home improvement store. He ended up coming back 3 separate times at my request to help us with the staging of the various phases of our remodel. David Henry and his son Steve were very nice and professional. They were responsive and did excellent work. I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs the services of an electrician.

On 4-26-12 a technician was sent out to repair the cut wire on my landscape light. He fixed the wire and informed me that one of the connectors was damaged and it may cause a problem in the future. After two days the light did not work. I called them to report the fact that the light was not working properly. I was told that the technician would pick up the damaged part and replace it. The following week the technician came to the house without the part and told me the light would have to be replaced. I explained to the technician that the light was only two weeks old. He told me the light came with the connector he needed. I told him there was no connector included and showed him another new light that I had purchased that did not come with a connector. He said he would get the connector and return. The owner of the company called and said he would get the connector. I sent them a check in advance to cover the cost of the part since I would be out of town for the next two weeks and asked them to repair the wire while I was away. Upon my return the light was still not repaired. I called and they said they could not come out because it was raining.. I asked raining for three weeks nonstop? They finally came out on 6/5/12 and repaired the broken wire. Approx. 7 weeks to repair a broken wire on a landscape light… I think not.

I am very impressed by the integrity of this company. Initial quote, with $10.00 off coupon, came to $355.00. I was assured by the company that if the work took less time, the total figure would be lowered, but they were uncertain of the amount of labor. Imagine how pleasantly surprised I was to have the final price come in at $155.00! I have already given their name and information to another multi-home owner I know in the area, and if I need electrical work done again, I will start with Henry Electric
