It went really well from estimate through completion. They were prompt in responding to my initial inquiry for an estimate. Very polite in all conversations. Showed up on time for the inspection to prepare the quote. Went beyond the simple response to my request for a quote by guiding me through what absolutely had to be done rather than simply what I thought needed to be done. I have aluminum wiring and the insurance companies tend to balk at that. Instead of taking advantage of the excuse of the insurance company pressure, they talked to me about what my alternatives really were. Instead of an expensive complete re-wiring we settled on the installation of the alumicon connectors. The workers showed up as scheduled and worked efficiently completing the job as planned at a most competitive price. They responded to my follow-up calls quickly, even though my questions were actually quite simple, like not realizing some of the plugs were connected to switches. I strongly recommend this company. They demonstrate good Christian values in their business dealings. The way it should be!

I was originally scheduled for Friday between 10-2 pm. At 2 PM I called them and Scott said that there was an emergency with my technician needing surgery? I still think that they should have called me to let me know. Anyway Scott was very apologetic and promised that they would send someone out the next morning at 10. Doug arrived on time on Saturday and did a great job. He answered every question I had and safety was stressed the whole time. He told me that my generator tie-in was installed incorrectly and wasn't properly fused, so I had him remove it (I would have had him just fix the problem but I don't own a generator right now so...) Doug is a master at his craft and a very fast and hard worker. He gave me a great deal on the price.

The electricians were at my house for almost four days. We have an older home (1937) an there were some necessary changes to be made to make it more functional. The electricians were timely, responsive, knowledgeable and personable. I would highly recommend this company.

Unfortunately, nobody showed up and nobody called on the 5th. I called back on Monday, July 7th to express my surprise and disappointment. They apologized profusely and scheduled an electrician for the next morning. Electrician, Bill McGrath was awesome! He called me ahead of time to let me know he was on his way, he was on time, he explained everything thoroughly, and was polite and professional. Despite the original "no-show" by one of the company's electricians, I would definitely use Henry Electric again as I would specifically request Bill McGrath. Thanks, Bill!

Went extremely well on time and completed in 3 hours. Estimate was for 4 hours....but work was done in 3. Showed up on time, very polite and friendly. Actual cost was less than estimate due to the time of completing the job. A nice surprise. The work was completed without any short cuts. I wouldn't hesitate to contact them again for any electrical work that would need to be performed.

Another contractor blew a breaker during service and we hiring this company to fix it. The problem was corrected. Additionally we wanted to get our pool light wiring replaced. It had been incorrectly installed and the wiring to light was incorrect. This took about five hours to fix and took Charles a lot of investigating to find the problem.

I was out of town and couldn't monitor the job but everything went smooth. I highly recommend using their services to anyone.

David and crew arrived on time and in good humour : ) got right to work, all fixtures were straight out of the box, so they assembled and installed fixtures before install. they did all work efficiently and quickly, then cleaned up when they were done. David made further recommendations for future light fixtures in a bathroom and coach lights. He insisted on putting my ladder back in the garage for me and EVEN tightened/fixed my front door hardware which was jiggling and not wanting to lock properly. Not only that, but I no longer have to call a garage door specialist for my garage door, cause he FIXED MY GARAGE DOOR for me!!!!!!! it had been off the track for a couple months and none of MY efforts to get it on track and working again had worked. He SAVED ME MONEY BY ELIMINATING A TRIP OUT BY A GARAGE DOOR SPECIALIST!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! I've used Henry Electric for all my electrical for some time now,WHY WOULD I CALL ANYONE ELSE?!!!!!!!

Henry is one of the most ornery and professional electricians I've ever dealt with. He knows his stuff, is opinionated, and strikes me as "old school" because he's been doing this a long time. He complained about having to let a several young electricians go over the previous several weeks because they weren't worth their salt and didn't have the work ethic. That should tell you something about Henry's perfectionism. He's an older guy, but within a few minutes at the house, he was underneath it with a flashlight, crawling around and problem solving. He has a couple of trusted electricians--very nice guys that do good work. It's expensive but fairly priced. The electrician once misunderstood what I wanted and then didn't charge me for anything but the part used--and then did it the way I wanted. These electricians tell it like it is. I had a new (expensive) outlet that I'd bought at Lowes and asked if they could use it, and Henry said something along the lines of "I won't use that garbage." It was refreshing.

They first gave me an estimate. They were on time. When they came, the estimate was correct and there were no surprises. It was a lot of work. It was the actual owner that came out to do the estimate. They were on time and called when they were on their way. He did a good job with the estimate. I signed a contract and the workers came on time. They finished on time and cleaned up everything. I had no problems at all. I got them from Angie’s List.

We had a GFI blow during a rainstorm and wanted to troubleshoot as I had replaced the GFI and was still having issues. Mr. Henry himself came. The man has to be over 80 and I seriously worry about his health both mental and physical. He arrived and couldn't initially diagnose the problem. While walking around in circles, he claimed a need to pull a permit because the house was wired wrong. He took out the GFI in question and said it was wired wrong. (I'll get back to that). He then went around the house saying he would have to open up walls to look at the wiring. When he got to the main panel, he took the door off and was starting to pull wires, again stating he would have to rewire the house. Remember, this was a GFI that was not working. It was at this point we asked him to leave the house. Do not put anything back just leave. He became even more confused and wouldn't leave. We had to call his office and they called him on his cell and asked him to leave. He became even more confused if that is possible. We wasted $70 just to get rid of him. Back to the GFI. I looked at it again, when it wasn't working. I took it out and realized HE WIRED IT BACKWARDS. I had to change the line and load as he had reversed them. Once I did that, hit reset, it worked. It is because of this episode, I will be canceling my Angies List membership as this is the 2nd time we have had awful service. This time was scary because this old man could have burned our house down. I don't for a minute believe the positive reviews, especially when Mr. Henry himself is involved. He should have retired years ago. If anyone uses this company, do so at your own risk. You have been warned. Angie... you owe me $70

The owner came by on Tuesday and the work was completed on Saturday. The worker was to come Thursday, but did not show up. However, he came Saturday and completed the work in less than an hour, and to my satisfaction.

Great! Reason I called was my refrigerator was on a GFCI and when the unit tripped the refrigerator went off. I called to have a dedicated outlet installed for fridge, but electric panels maxed out. He presented me with options and I chose the above. He found the double tap in the fuse box and alerted me to it and pointed out that it was against the building codes and I elected to have replaced with the pig tail that would pass inspection if I ever choose to sell my house. The lady that answered the phone when I called for service was also very nice and helpful.

Chuck, the owner, came out to my house twice to provide estimates for work on a new laundry room and he was great. I immediately felt that I could trust him and that he was giving me a fair price for the work. On the actual day of service, Charlie arrived and went over the work and provided his assessment of a better way to carry out the task. He went above and beyond in completing the work in a less intrusive way. It meant more work for him, but he was committed to completing the work in the best way possible. I would definitely use this company again for my electrical needs.

Technician was quick and got some difficult work (pulling new wires in a two story home for outlets) done in a short time. He was very courteous and efficient. We will always call Henry Electric for all our electrical needs.

Keith was the electrician who came out. He arrived when he said he would. He was professional, experienced and helpful. He did the job quickly and thoroughly. It was a great experience and I will use Henry Electric again.

Henry Electric does amazing quality of work at a decent price. They are very good hearted people who actually care about their customers. I would definitely hire them for any electric service needs.

Their work was excellent. Their price was very reasonable. The job was done excellent and this is not the first time I used him. They have also replaced some faulty breakers and electric circuits in the past. They are excellent. They are very reasonable; everything is itemized and very fair. Their quality of work is excellent. They always call me if they cannot make it. Although they have rescheduled twice but in the past they have come always when they said they will come.

Professional in every respect--from the person I contacted on the telephone to schedule the work, to the attitude, courtesy, and skill of the electrician (Keith) whom arrived the next day to do the work--overall, this was a pleasant experience. I am planning to add additional electric circuits to two areas of my home in the near future. Suffice it to say, I will use this firm again.
