First Response completed this major work on time. They have great employees and great contractors (such as specialies like roofing). In times of a major disaster, sub-contractors are very hard to get, but First Response has a reliable set of skilled people they can count on. I also just re-engaged them for water damage at a condo I just puchased. This was a minor job, but it was done quickly, professionally and within budget.
Description of Work: I had massive damage when a hurricane tore off part of my roof, and more damage from the resulting water intruion.

The entire job was completed in seven weeks. It went as well as having no flush toilet for six weeks can go. Zac and his contractors did an awesome job but I sure don't want to go through that again!
Description of Work: Leak in shower pan resulted in two bathrooms and dining room wall taken down to studs. Total bathroom remodel including plumbing, tile, new vanities, shower doors, etc.

They did an excellent job. The owner Ken came out, its a family-type business which I like. They were very professional. They did what they were supposed to do. They cleaned up. They kinda encapsulate the family room. They were in and out of the house. No water damage or anything. They knew what they're doing.
Description of Work: We had some what we thought mold damage, but it was a bad mildew. They cleaned all that up. They put antibiotic spray on it. We had a pine wooden beam that they also sprayed.

Description of Work: We bought a fixer-upper with a flooded crawl space, and rats in crawl space and attic. Mr. Poulin quoted the job with pump out, temporary ventilation, clean-up, 2 sump pumps, and sub-contracted the pest control. We were still selling our out-of-state house, but our son lives a block away and periodically oversaw the work. Neither of us realized at the outset that the water was ground water, and it was our son who hired a crew to drag 4 truckloads of sandy soil under the house, bringing the level above the water. Mr. Poulin's team did install the two sump pumps and dug a retention pit for the out flow of the primary. What they did do they executed well, but we always felt we paid for more than his company did, since the job changed once it began (in addition to what our son had to do). The final bill was reduced by a few hundred dollars. There were some follow up items that need to be taken care of, an Mr. Poulin acted responsibly in dealing with them.

Sealed the room, removed all affected area's (Kitchen walls, granite and cabinets, garage walls and cabinets.) Killed all mold and repaired everything in a VERY timely manner
Description of Work: We had sever mold and water damage from a refrigerator that leaked over time. Ken (Owner) came in after I had hired Serv Pro who didnt show up for 3 weeks, So called ken, he was there day one and was right on the job. Blew away the competition in price and did the job perfectly. He worked with the insurance comapny and adjustor and made the stressful situation painless. Very quick to get back to you if you have questions and is a top notch professional. You can NOT go wrong using them and will be very happy.
