I would like to say thank you for sharing your rather odd review on my company. I find it strange that you would leave us a "D" overall rating without going into detail on why we deserved this sub-par rating. I will now go into very precise detail on our experience with you. To begin if we are such a bad company with poor quality, bad pricing, and absolutely no professionalism - why do you continue to lease equipment with FWT and pay us every month for the rental well equipment at your rental home? We originally came to your home on 8/15/12 because you were having issues with the well water treatment equipment that was installed at your home (this equipment was not installed by FWT) and you wanted us to try and fix the equipment and get it up and running. Upon inspection of the equipment we showed you that the equipment was not working and was beyond repair (there was a sears water softener with a chlorine injection pump). Your water tested with over 8ppm of iron and 2.0ppm of hydrogen sulfides as well as 20gpg of hardness. The equipment that was on site would in no way be able to treat the water effectively and gain the end result you so desired for your tenants which was to remove the iron and smells in the water. We showed you what we recommended to treat the water effectively at your rental home which was our full well package which includes a dry feed chlorinator, 120 gallon holding tank, 1.5CF backwashing catalytic carbon system, and a hybrid water softener with fine mesh resin to handle the high amount of iron in the water. We were very clear with you that you needed all of the equipment to effectively treat the water and that we could not guarantee the quality of the water if the entire system was not installed. You understood and your words were "I can not trust my tenants to maintain this system and change the chlorine"and you did not want to put that much money into the rental home. Again we were very clear that the system may not give you the water you want and you completely understood and were very adamant that we only install a carbon backwash system with a softener at the home because that was all you were going to pay for. At FWT we keep very detailed notes on every conversation we have with a customer that does not agree with what we suggest because of situations such as this one. More often than not the customer tells a completely different story than what really happened and we are forced to defend ourselves and save face. We installed the carbon backwash system and softener on 9/20/12 as a rental system through FWT (FWT owns the equipment and maintains the system at no charge for a monthly rental fee). We did not hear anything from you or your tenants for 9 months until we received a call from your tenants stating that there was a rotten egg smell in the water on 6/19/13, we came out the next day on 6/20/13 and explained that the smell was hydrogen sulfide and that the only way to remove this was through chlorination and since a chlorinator was not installed we could not chlorinate the lines in the house. I assume your tenants called you and complained about the water and wanted it fixed because you called our office a couple days after and were very demanding and rude stating that you wanted this fixed and you did not have time to deal with this. I called you back and yet again explained to you that the only way to solve this problem was to add the chlorinator and holding tank to the system as we suggested from the beginning, you again told us that you were not going to pay for this at your rental home because you did not want to spend the extra money on this rental property - you also had some other choice words that I can't repeat on tis site. Well I guess that your tenants complained enough or you just finally realized that hey these guys know what they are talking about - because on 7/31/13 you had us install the rest of the equipment (the dry feed chlorinator and holding tank). GUESS WHAT - we have not been back to the house or received any calls since we installed the rest of the equipment at the home. Now if you feel that we are such a bad company because of this you are just plain wrong and you know it. If you would of listened to what we suggested in the first place it would of saved both of us a whole lot of time. I don't understand why you would call us out to your home as water treatment professionals if you feel you know more than us and were not going to listen to our suggestions on the proper way to treat your water effectively. As I stated we have not been to your rental property for 6 months since you gave us the OK to install the proper equipment. The review you left was baseless and had no validity or truthfulness for that matter. Unfortunately I have to take time out of my busy schedule to defend myself against a false attack on our character and company as a whole. The fact of the matter is we stand behind our equipment and every time you called and had a problem (which was only twice) we were out to the home within 1 day and you were not charged a penny extra. As I stated previously if you would of allowed us to install the equipment we suggested none of this would of happened, and after all of this and over a year later we still installed what we suggested - AND WE WERE CORRECT.
