Excellent Service

The shocks were fixed and we thought the air conditioning unit was fixed until 2 days later when we saw a flash on the screen saying we needed coolant. We thought perhaps they had neglected to fill it all the way so we added coolant. In another 2 days the message appeared again so we took the car back to find out what was wrong. This time they said it was something else and they wanted another $400 to fix that problem. They charged us $69.95 to find the leak when we brought it in initially so why weren't both problems found at the first inspection? We didn't have confidence that they knew what they were doing. We'd had enough!!!! Would not use their service again and would certainly not recommend them to anyone else.

Well let me say Jerry the shop owner is nice guy, fast and seemingly professional. I had some services done, including timing belt, water, pump, pulleys and valves, for about 800$. Alternator replacement about 300$. Transmission Service 100$. I came to Jerry after seeing all the reviews about his service. Seems he got all A"s across the board (which I found a bit skeptical) but deciided to give him a try. I had to come back a few times after the repairs were done, to get the repairs fixed again which was a bit frustrating. The timing belt seemed to be a decent price, a bit on the high side but i just wanted it done. I had the timing belt replaced and everything that comes with it, but the belt was making a strange sound afterwards. I took it to another mechanic (A and H automotive) and they suspected that the something was not right. I took the car back to Flawless and Jerry, the shop owner, told me the alternator was likely responsible for the sound. So i had the alternator replaced. Sound is still there, but now my battery light is still dimly on, which means there is drop in voltage. I go back to Flawless, they replace the alternator again and now it seems to installed correctly or is a functioning altornator (they claimed the newly installed alternator was faulty). At this time I'm having strong hesitation and jerking coming from the engine. I have Flawless take a look at the car and they say since there is no engine light it has to be the transmission. I found the symptoms of the car to point to a sensor problem, but Jerry, himself disagreed. He with 100% certainty, said I needed to address the transmission. That was it, I had enough of this shop. I went to the more decorated angies list shop, A and H automotive, They confirmed my theory that it was a sensor. Turn out to be the 02 sensor, had it replaced and my car is driving perfectly now. Sorry Jerry, you diagnosed the problem incorrectly, either on purpose or by accident, Either way I'm not coming back.

I liked them. They didn't keep me waiting. They were very organized. I will use them again in the future.

All went well Jerry was professional and courteous and performed recheck of the system a week later when I experienced what I considered was an underperformance of the new a/c. The proof of its performance will be determined in the near future when the humidity and high temperatures prevail.

He still is the most honest and fair mechanic to work with. His pricing may not be the cheapest but he is honest and only charges for the services that are really needed. He was excellent to work with and I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

I never miss an opportunity to refer business to them. It was so funny how I came to find Flawless. I stop at a store before going to work. When I came out my truck would not start. A man who was coming out at the same time saw I was having car trouble. He went way out of his was to help me to get the truck started. He asked if I had a regular auto repair that I used. He gave me a card for Flawless. He said they are fair, honest, and always do good work. He was right and I have not used anyone else since.
