This is a family owned business. They are extremely honest, responsive, punctual, and highly professional. Additionally, they are highly skilled and knowledgeable. They have been very accommodating to my own specific needs and requirements. If you want the best in air conditioning service and repair as well as sales you will not go wrong by using AMI; they are simply the very best!!!!

They were excellent. I used them at my office. They respond quickly. The only downfall is they don't service residential areas.

Everyone associated with the firm was friendly and professional, from the estimator and the office staff to the actual installers. All the work was done neatly and completed on the date as planned. I was so impressed by the company rep (and the Angie's List reviews) that I did not bother to get additional estimates, but believe the price I paid for the high end system I wanted was fair. As the new air handler was much larger than the older unit, the installation involved modification of the A/C closet with some demolition work and dry wall installation. The two installers were real pros and worked neatly and did a nice job, completing it all in one day. The city inspector who came afterwards was very impressed with the work that was done. A few weeks later we were pleasantly surprised by delivery of a thank you gift from the company (a gallon "paint can" filled with cookies). The nice people at AIM were a pleasure to work with.

Installed 2 air conditioners at my home. The workmanship was excellent as well as the professionalism shown by the installers. I would highly recommend AMI to others. Price was excellent. No pushy salesman. Pleasure to deal with. Rare in S. Florida. To top it off, a few weeks after installing the air conditioners, they delivered a gift of custom made cookies. A class act and a class operation.

It wasn't too bad. I asked them to do some additional with my heating element and he had to do some additional electrical work. He wasn't able to get it to full capacity but I guess he was able to get the heat working a little bit. He didn't actually open the return which was dirty and I had him to do that.

After noticing moisture in the ceiling of our master bath, we called a roofer. He can out did a detail investigation and notice the moisture was coming from a worn out duct above the bath room. We found A.M.I. of Angie's List and they came out and confirm what the roofer had told us and gave us an initial quote to which we were able to negotiate down a little bit. they came out a few days later and replaced the duct. They cleaned up after them selves and were clean and friendly. I would suggest them to anyone.

They hit all the marks. They were prompt, professional and courteous; everything was good. I decided not to replace the air conditioner.

We were still under contract with another company, but we've had problems with both A/C units since installation in 10/2005. Ten months after installation 08/2006 we had massive overflow damage from the 5 ton. Overflow clogged 9/2007, water damage 2/2008 and mold remediation 10/2009. We were also very concerned with the A/C in the garage. Any fumes in the garage would come through the A/C and into our master bath and bedroom. We did our research and my husband and I were very impressed with Corey. We scheduled the install for the 2 ton for 9/11/13. They did an excellent job!! A few days go by and I decide I want to replace the 5 ton for many reasons. First of all, the door has to be removed to get to the A/C to change the filter. I'm only 5' 2". Also the A/C is on a metal stand and it has a little panel you pull out to change the filter. Under the stand there is a metal pan with a sensor, which is wired to the A/C so that if and when we get our next flood, an alarm goes off, if we're home!! Obviously, I won the battle. Now the filter is on the side wall in the hallway, where it was originally. The A/C is on a solid wooden platform and I have room for shelves on the side. It was a pleasure to deal with this company!!!! Installers were excellent!!

Adam was our tech. He was prompt and professional. He completed the service within 45 minutes and all was well:)

On time and professional. Adam answered all my questions informatively and patiently and showed me the progress and what he was doing. He was very thorough with the work. Also made suggestions for future maintenance. Will be calling them for my yearly maintenance. The price was a little bit higher than other estimates I received, so I rated the price a B.

It was fabulous, they were great, reliable, and my system is working wonderfully. They were helpful in selecting the correct unit for my house, it is just on the borderline on requiring 5 tons or more. They were able recommend a 2 stage unit.

We went out to collect quotes from three AC companies (all found on Angie's List) and had lots of questions. We knew from the outset that we could eliminate the two previous systems at the house we just purchased and go with one, new system. The three companies were all prompt with coming out to do the first site visit - but only AMI survived our rounds of questions about what size unit (4 or 5 ton) to install, was responsive and patient, and gave us detailed reasons on why they were recommending what they recommended. Corey Mullins sent over the quotes in a very timely fashion each time we asked for a different scenario - the other AC companies did not. When we were finally ready to begin the work, the crew arrived promptly and AMI provided us with a temporary, portable AC unit as we were now living in the house and had to go without central AC air for 4 days (this was due to the domino effect of moving air handler and other work going on in the house and the time frame spanning a weekend...) It was a two, full days installation and the crew were great - again, answering our many many questions with great patience and explanations. The new, super quiet system had the house cooled down in about 30 minutes once it was operational. We couldn't be happier. We are very glad with our purchasing decision and selecting AMI.

What a wonderful experience! A breath of fresh air in South Florida contractor world! I took advantage of their special deal for an annual air conditioner tune up for $59.00. I was contacted promtply for an appointment. What really impressed me is that the day of the appt my appt was for the afternoon, I was called by the office to let me know what time I should expect the technician. Then I was called again when he was on his way. What a pleasure! Technician, Steve, arrived on time and finished promptly. This is my new go-to A/C contractor!

I had problems with my AC not cooling off. The fan was blowing, but no cold air was coming out. I called at night and left a message, and they called me back right away. The technician asked me questions about the symptoms, and told me he thought it was an electrical problem, and that he could not fix it at night. He offered to come out and look at my freon, etc, but was clear to tell me that if there was something he could not fix at night, he would have to charge me a service fee, which was more expensive at night. He recommended to wait until the morning so that he could be sure he could fix the problem. We agreed, and next morning both the dispatch person called me, and the technician called me before coming. I explained to him I was waiting at home and was missing work, so it was critical to do it as soon as possible. They came to the house around 8:30 or so, and sure enough, it was an electrical problem outside. He tested the system, replaced the defective part, and ensured the system was cooling again. We discussed the fact that the unit was very old, so on the spot he took measurements and gave me a quote for a replacement new unit. It was about $3K less than a quote I had received previously from a different company. He left and I have their information for when I plan to replace it. They were honest, affordable, punctual, and very professional.

The sales department was friendly and efficient and provided a very reasonable estimate. The day of installation, Dan and Johnny showed up and did the work quickly, cleanly and professionally. They answered my questions and did not leave until I was totally satisfied. The permitting was a bit delayed but most likely because of the overworked inspectors in our area. I would use this company again ,and I highly recommend their services. Thanks for a job well done.

Requested a quote for a replacement to an existing 4 ton system. Gentlemen showed up and took all the information of the existing system. A quote would be sent via email the following day. We had problems with email delivery and finally received the quote a week later.
