We decided to ask an estimate from 'The original Frameless shower door' because of the reviews we read on Angie?s List. So we called the company on Friday September 21 to setup an appointment. Macy was very helpful and got us a convenient early appointment set for Monday September 24. Gerardo arrived right on time, took his measurements, gave me some advice and suggestion, and handed me his company?s estimate when he was finished. The price stated that it included labor and warranty. As this was within the budget we had for this project I signed the contract immediately. Gerardo informed me that within 2 days I would be contacted by Mark who would schedule the installation. Wednesday Mark called me and informed me that the door and panel were done, and we schedule the installation. We agreed to have the install on the next day. Thursday. Carlos and Jordan arrived as scheduled on Thursday. They took measures to make sure all was according to the contract. Then they removed the old doors, and in the process helped me fix a problem I had with another sliding shower door in the house, they had not installed. Thank you, Jordan! Unfortunately due to no fault of the installers, they had to cease their installation activities for at least a day or more. After the problem had been addressed that same evening, I called Gerardo (after hours at about 8:00 pm) on his cell phone, to inform him of the unforeseen situation, and although not part of his responsibilities as well as beyond his work hours, Gerardo was so helpful, friendly and courteous to listen to my request to re-schedule the ceased installation as soon as possible. Early the next (Friday) morning Gerardo called me to inform me that the installation could be resumed on the coming Monday, and that our cost would be reduced by a small amount. Gerardo, your help was priceless! Mark confirmed the re-scheduled installation for Monday. On Monday October 1, Gardiner and Jordan arrived right on time to finalize the installation. The install was done perfectly, professionally and fast (in less than an hour). Great job, Gardiner and Jordan! We love our door and panel, and although it has been over two weeks since the install, we are still in awe of how beautiful our bathroom now looks.

Called, they came out next day to measure was installed two days later. Timing was perfect. Installers were professional and quick.

Without a doubt, this is the best company we have dealt with during our bathroom remodeling jobs. Extremely professional and service-oriented. After a serviceman came out to give an estimate, we went ahead and removed the old shower doors and frames ourselves so that we could properly clean and polish the areas that had been covered before the new doors were installed. The istallation team(s) were on time and seemed to genuinely care that they had done a good job. The biggest suggestion that I would give any future customers is for them to check out a new type of glass that the company has begun using. It's called "clarvista" and it's designed so that water beads up and rolls off. Yes, the gless still needs to be cleaned every so often, but no need to worry about wiping down the glass after each shower. We ended up replacing the first shower's glass with clarvista...(the company didn't carry it the first time we remodeled) and have been happy with our decision. Bottom line, this is a top-notch company and a pleasure to do business with.

We already had the old door and glass taken out ourselves. Called the company and they came within 2 days for an estimate. Glass and door was installed within the next week. The salesman was professional but definitely a salesman. The installors were also professional, quick, clean and did a great install. I paid extra for the spot resistant glass and so far I love it. Easy to clean.

I had looked at a couple of different glass shower door companies before deciding on the Original Frameless Shower Door company. I had seen their flyers around at many of the tile stores, but didn't really give them much consideration until I saw they were on Angie's List. Since they were in Coral Springs a few blocks from my home I decided to pay them a visit before having them come out for an estimate. Man, was I glad I did. If you want to see an absolutely amazing glass manufacturing facility, you have got to go by there. As it happened, the president of the company was in the lobby as I came in and offered to assist me. He explained my options and showed some example installations. Being naturally curious about the manufacturing process I asked about it. He took me back to where the manufacturing was done and it was very impressive. This place has state of the art equipment from cutting to beveling to boring to tempering. They do it all in-house. He really takes pride in the quality of the product that they produce there. Since I only lived a couple of blocks away, they came right over to take the measurements. They called just a few days to schedule the install. They came out and did the install and arrived right on time. Nearing completion I was standing there admiring the glass when something caught my eye. I thought it was something on the glass, but when I rubbed my fingernail across it, it got stuck on it. I could tell it was a chip in the surface of the glass. Clearly (pun intended) I wasn't going to be happy with a chip in the glass. If it had been a foot from the floor, I would have never seen it and it wouldn't have been an issue because it wouldn't be visible. But I had opted for the ClarVista glass and it was right at eye level. They made a valiant effort to try to polish it out, but to no avail it wouldn't go away. ( I never understood why glass companies carry glass on the outside of their vehicles). The rubbing and buffing just made it worse and more visible. After talking with the techs and a supervisor back at the shop, they agreed to replace the bad piece. They were back in 3 days with a replacement piece and finished the install. When I finally got to use the shower, I noticed that there was leak in one part of the 90 degree joint where the 2 pieces of glass meet. The next day the came out, removed all of the silicone in the joint, and resealed it. I can say it hasn't been a problem at all since.

The customer service at this company needs some work. I spoke with Randy and he was not only rude, but his follow through was terrible/non-exsitant. Randy should not be answering the phones and or dealing with customer's. Macy, in the office, was much more helpful and professional. If you call, ask to speak to her. The glass was installed, but it was leaking through the silicone. It had to be re-siliconed a week later, but it is good now. The glass looks beautiful.

Our interaction with them went smoothly but then I asked for some service that I thought I would get and they were not terribly cooperative. I asked them to send me, not even come, but mail me a strip of plastic to be put on the door, they said they would take care of it and I never heard from them again. They were good with the price and I am happy with the door. They were good with the punctuality while doing the work. I would not recommend them because of their non-response to my request and I probably will not use them again.

They arrived punctually, gave me a fair quote (I shopped around) and installed the glass within 7 days. The price includes upgrade of 1/2" thick glass and a very good quality bar pull for the door. Sealed all the edges and installed a 'water sweep' on the bottom of shower door (to sweep water into shower when door is opened.

I wasn’t whole heartedly satisfied with it but some of it was my fault. I hate to blame them for it. It was probably the wrong shower door. I liked the look of it a lot but the function of it doesn’t suit me entirely. That’s because it opens out in to the room and the water runs down and gets onto the tile floor, and so when I step out of the shower there’s a big puddle. I have to keep a towel there, scoop it over and wipe it up. So it’s not really their fault but I had already paid the money on it. I should have probably asked more questions before I had it installed. They were fine. It’s just that I don’t love the door. I thought their price was a little high. I had a little trouble with their responsiveness and punctuality. I will not use them again in the future.

The door they put in was beautiful. They were excellent. I asked for a Saturday appointment and they came no problem . There was no hassle with them. They were very easy to work with.

Gerardo arrived on time to measure and prepare an estimate to install a frameless shower door. The installers also arrived at the scheduled appointment time. After the installation was completed, a defect in the glass was discovered. The problem was resolved in a timely manner with a complete replacement shower door.

Their price was fair, even less than the company I ultimately chose, but I did not purchase their product because I did not feel comfortable with the sales person. He was too agressive and spent more time complaining about the other suppliers vs. promoting the product he was selling. He offered a discount if I signed during his visit. All of this left me with less than a professional view of the company.

I requested several quotations via email. They were patient and responsive. They also performed a in-person estimate including full measurements. The installation required two trips since one of the pieces was too wide. The installers were good but somewhat unprofessional. I am pleased with the overall experience and would use them again.

They did a wonderful job. It was excellent. Overall they great. I would use them again.

They did a very job quickly, but they were a little sloppy.

Excellent work on 2 frameless shower doors - one a frameless slider and the other a more traditional immovable glass panel and frameless door. Very professional and exact measurement. Installation was done right and they waited while a tile issue was fixed.Not only did they do a good job on the frameless shower doors but they pointed out structural flaws with the tile work that had been done and this resulted in the tile team reworking one of the bathrooms to make it right (which will clearly save money in the long run). Thanks and will use again for sure.

The sales/estimator showed up on time and was knowledgable about the product. I received a call when the shower door was ready to install. The installers showed up on time and completed the job with no fuss. The only comment I have is that the company advertises 48 hours to installation, but it took 5 or 6 days before it was ready.

They were very professional and did a great job. Victor came over and had a book of the options to choose from with handles etc. He measured and gave me an estimate which was reasonable. When I called them about the estimate and had a question they politely lowered the price a little without me asking and they took the order. Called as soon as the glass was ready and came over within a day to install it. Overall, I was very pleased. They did a great job.

Ordered the shower door and wall and was told I could expect install in 3-5 days. They came four days later but the shower door was too short, did not fit. Came back three days later and the shower door was too tall. Came back three days after that and FINALLY the door fit. Once all this was done the door looks great. Had a hard time however communicating with Mark who I think is the manager but once the VP, Ms, Sparks got involved everything moved smoothly and professionally. In the end we are happy with the final product and would use this company again.

I went by their showroom to look at the options of what they had to offer and to schedule an appointment. I was given a ball-park estimate of what the job might cost – obviously depending upon the actual measurements. They scheduled an appointment for someone to come out right away. Victor showed up on time and was very friendly and professional. He took the order and said they would be ready to install in 3-5 business days. Well, 7 business days went by and I still hadn't heard anything, so I called. It was fairly difficult to get Mark, the office manager who schedules the installations, on the phone or to get a call back. I kept leaving messages and kept calling and we finally scheduled the installation. The doors look beautiful and they did a terrific job installing them. My only complaint is that they should not advertise "48 hours from measure to install" or tell the customer 3-5 business days, when that wasn't the case. They measured on June 2nd and the doors were installed on June 15th - not a horrible amount of time to wait, but not as advertised. Otherwise, though, I was very satisfied.
