Really good AC vent cleaning companies are a difficult find, as most will try to rip you off, some show up late or not at all, and/or others just don't do a good enough job to warrant the costs. I am happy to say that AQC does not fall into any of those categories. Spoke with Mike yesterday and told him about our dust issue and dryer vent clogging issues and I immediately got an appointment for this morning. His team was right on time at 7:30 sharp and immediately began the cleaning process. They took the time to do the job right! From the individual cleaning of the vents to getting on the roof to take care of the dryer vent (I have a 2 story townhome so this is no easy task), they worked quickly and efficiently. Very pleased with the professionalism across the board...from the receptionist, Carly, all the way up to Mike, the owner. And can't say enough about the team he sent out today. Good guys who got the work done quickly without sacrificing quality. They also had some great advice on how to choose the proper filter, etc. Highly recommended company! Will definitely use again in the future.

Perfect, they were on time and efficient and very pleasant. Answered questions. Before they left they painted the grills which was a great surprise.

Service was scheduled for October 7th 2017 at 1:00 PM. Got a call a day earlier to confirm and Ricky and Wayne were there sharp at 1:00 PM, previous to that they called 20 mins. before coming over. Both of them were thorough with their work. I had my ducts cleaned, vents disinfected , fiberglass coat the ducts and clean the dryer vents. Wayne and Ricky took their time and making sure everything is done perfectly, took all the precautions to make sure that the furniture and the floor remain clean. Post job even vacuumed the floors. We could not have asked for better people to come than Ricky and Wayne. I will keep trusting this company and specially keep asking for these guys to come to do the job everytime. If you are looking to take care of the air in your house then stop searching the net and call Mike Dexter and his team. BTW - Anna who takes care of the appointments is super courteous and professional. 5 stars to the entire team.

The gentleman showed up on time and completed the job in an efficient manner.

The service was amazing from the Representative on the phone to the guys who came out and performed the work. My very expensive relatively new clothes dryer constantly sounded an alarm and would not dry the clothes at all. After the service was performed a full load of wet towels dried quicker than ever. At first I was skeptical the dryer vent was the cause of poor dryer performance but now I know it was in fact a clogged vent. Also, a clean vent eliminates a fire hazard. I am very happy.

It went well with a few snags. They came on time and proceeded to run a long brush up the dryer vent and vacuumed out the aluminium hos connected to the dryer. They went on the roof to check the air flow but noticed they weren't getting much air out of the roof vent. A check in the attic showed that the vent tube was disconnected from the roof vent and the hot air and lint was going into the attic, They realigned the tubes and finished cleaning. Overall they did a very good job. You never know what's going on in the attic.

It was excellent. The estimate was lower than we had received from another company but not bare bones minimum. The air literally smelled cleaner/better after they were finished, without any perfume or scent added. They used plastic to protect our interior, and didn't leave any mess. As far as the dryer duct, our dryer now takes half the time to dry clothes. This was one of the best home improvement experiences we've had. Super pleased!

He was fantastic. I worked with Mike directly, but the person who did scheduling/payments and the crew that did the work were all so polite, timely and helpful. I would definitely recommend again.

Met with owner Mike, who provided a written estimate. I was concerned, as I have very high ceilings, for the safety of the job. Mike assured me that it would be no problem and even emailed me his insurance information. Gabriel and his assistant arrived on time, the job went off without any problems. Gabriel and his assistant were very professional and polite. The crew cleaned up after the job was done. I would recommend.

Cleaned and lined vents contaminated by rodent activity. Actually hired again to clean after the power was off from a hurricane. Very good at explaining what they would do and what it would cost.

From the day Mike Dexter came to our home to give my wife and me an estimate for cleaning and sanitizing the ducts and vents, through the outstanding results of the work that was done by his terrific specialists, Tyler and Mario, the experience, and the results, were wonderful. In addition to the fine workmanship, Tyler and Mario used special equipment to spray an anti-microbial coating throughout the entire ductwork system that will prevent mold buildup for 10 years. When they finished and removed all their equipment, our home was neat as a pin. I highly recommend Air Quality Control Environmental.

Very responsive and Excellent Customer Service.

I was scheduled for a 2 -5 pm appt with a call when they were on their way. At 4:45pm I called their office since I had not heard from them. The office checked and told me they were tied up on the previous job and should arrive by 5:45pm. At 5:45pm I called the office again. They finally arrived at 6:45pm. Once they arrived, there work was excellent and very efficient. They certainly knew what they doing and finished in 30 minutes.

The service was done as expected and no unneeded service was pushed on me, which I liked very much. The team was very professional and I would definitely hire them again. I highly recommend their workmanship quality and professionalism.

The over all duct replacement went fine and the older technician that came out has alot of experience. Only downside is that the job ran two days longer than promised, partly because it was a tedious metal ductwork that was involved and there wasn't enough people dedicated to the job in my opinion. I also requested additional Maintenance to my AC unit .. those services were performed satisfactorily, just keep in mind that Air Quality subcontracted out the AC work to another company. I believe their main service is duct work and various air quality related services. Towards the end of the ductwork replacement a 5 foot portion of my ceiling caved in. They agreed to repair it but I wasn't too happy with how it was repaired considering the technician patched it with wood pieces lying around and spackling it.. it looked shoody and un stable. I decided to spend extra money on another handyman to replace the ceiling damage with a proper sheetrock panel. I also spent several weeks leaving voicemails with Air Quality regarding scheduling someone to come and finish the ceiling repair and did not receive a reply for a long time. Overall the duct replacement went fine but just not happy with certain aspects of the job.

I am writing this review as I previously had written a negative review about this company regarding a refund of an overpayment of services. I did receive my refund by check through the mail and upon receipt it was apparent that the company had mailed the check weeks prior as they stated as was evident by the postmark on the envelope and actually had taken 17 days to arrive in the mail. I just would like to clarify that in this review that it was not AQCE's fault but rather the USPS. The company did do a great job and I was very happy with their services and since I am unable to delete the negative review regarding the refund issue want to write this review explaining that in fact it was not the company's fault the check was mailed out weeks prior to my receiving it and exactly as the company stated. So I do hope my previous negative review will be disregarded as I am unable to delete or would.

Gabriel was very polite while I had him on the phone, but they did not return my calls multiple times, and they missed both appointments they were scheduled to appear for. So I didn't even get the pleasure of doing business with these fine folks. I am disappointed because this place has rave reviews on Google and Angie's List so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and tried to work with them, but they just never really bothered to show up to do the job. I called twice on different days and left my information with Gabriel and no one called me back. Finally Gabriel promised to come to my home to look at my air conditioning this morning. He never showed. He called an hour after the fact claiming he had a wrong number (I gave my number to him three different times, and spoke slowly and repeated it to him). So he apologized and promised to make it right and show up at 7 this evening, even though it was after hours for him. I gave him until 7:30 and he still didn't show. When I called him, it went straight to voicemail, so I just cancelled the appointment. Apologies are nice when you know that the other person is working on correcting the issue at hand. I am flexible as long as there is communication, which clearly this place lacks. Unprofessional and ridiculous.

I saw this company record in Angie’s list and decided to call them to clean the air ducts at home. Scheduling was easy and they arrived on time. After inspecting the a/c grills and boxes, the technician recommended to apply an anti-mold coating. Everything was done in a professional manner. Because the allergies at home, I decided to install a REME-HALO unit and to use their anti-microbial air filters. They took a long time to come back and install the REME unit and deliver the a/c filters. Everything was ok until I installed the a/c filters. They are the wrong size. The company employees took the measurements themselves and still the filters do not fit properly. I called the company several times about this. They have always been very kind, yet no solution has been provided. Here I am, stuck with a year-long supply of very expensive custom made filters that does not serve any purpose. I am very concern about their warranty or support if the REME-HALO fails or needs maintenance. I asked for the unit serial to register the product with the manufacturer and they never provide the information. At this point, I am not sure even if the coating they apply on the A/C exits/plenum was a coating or just a white paint. Excellent sellers with not support/backup for their products.

They arrived on time but had forgotten a hose at the shop, so it took longer than expected. One guy stayed to start cleaning the vents. While the van was gone the person cleaning the vents did not have proper tools and was using a screw driver to pry the vents instead of a utility knife. So I will have some touch up painting to do around a couple vents. I loaned him my utility knife after I saw that . They started around 8:30 and didn't finish until around 1:30 pm. I had 11 vents. They were both very knowledgeable about duct cleaning and I felt very comfortable with the job they did as far as the duct cleaning. I would have given a better rating but there were a few things that they could have addressed better. Whoever installed my vents last used the wrong screws so when they screwed them back in some of the vents were no longer flush because of those screws. As a company that works on ducts they should probably carry a few extra of the correct screws in the van just in case. Also my vents had been painted by the last owners so when they cleaned them some of the paint started to peel. None of this is really all their fault but for 890.00 I didn't expect to have a project to follow a project . I now have to get on a ladder replace screws, repaint registers, touch up paint around registers etc. They cleaned up fairly well on the inside of the house but left a mess in the garage under the attic access. They will also charge you 6% if you want to use a credit card. FYI that is not legal to do under contracts with credit card companies and usually I report these companies but haven't done so yet.

Air Quality Control Environmental did a great job! We recently moved to this home and discovered the dryer vent had not been cleaned in a long time. The service techs worked efficiently, cleaning the vent from the inside and then from the roof. Everything was moved back to it's proper place once the job was complete. We'd hire this company again!

I must say I have had an excellent experience with AQC. The customer service received by Mike, the owner, through the phone who explained the process of cleaning and coating the ducts, and Gabriel who also came to my house and showed everything that was going be done was fantastic. The team today showed up on time, had a great attitude and again answered all my questions, performed a great job cleaning and coating the ducts and also removing a lot of dirt from my dryer vent. before leaving the house, they cleaned up any dust that might have produced their machines. I usually do not leave feedback but I was impressed by their work. It is hard to find this type of companies around nowadays.
