We have not had a service call yet.

They had the absolute lowest price! That worried me a little but it went very well. The installers were professional, punctual and polite. They took time to answer my questions. They also removed the old system completely as well as any packaging for the new system. The entire process took under 8 hours including their lunch break. (Much deserved). Although the a/c worked great initially, after a day or so it didn't seem to be cooling the house down. The thermostat said it was cooler than it actually was. I called and a tech came out within 3 hours. He calibrated the thermostat but the house only got hotter. We called and made arrangements to have a tech come out after 5 (when I got home from work). He was great! Discovered a joint had not been soldered and most of the coolant had leaked out. He apologized, took care of the problem, and waited 30 minutes to make sure everything was working okay ( and this was a Friday night)! Very happy with ECM and would definitely recommend.

We had the estimator (who was a charming young man) out, and came to a signed agreement on the work to be done. The crew did not appear on the date agreed (and I'd taken a day off from work), and when I called, I was told they had decided the job would have to cost more than agreed. The new price still was acceptable, so we signed a new agreement for the work. This is MAJOR work, but they sent only two men to do the work, which was estimated to take six hours but eventually took ten hours. Of course, they arrived two hours late and only one of the two appeared to have any interest in doing the work. The installation and cleanup appears to have been done appropriately. I can't fault them for the actual work. However, and this is where you either walk away or lower your standards, they lie, mislead, and otherwise attempt to blame you for anything that goes wrong from that point forward. We had them back twice due to "sweat" on the outside of the cabinet, and that was our fault because we ran the a/c at a lower temperature than they feel we should. We received a mailed-out flier saying they would pay $100 per referral who used them. I referred two friends, both of whom went to contract and were explicit in stating I'd referred them. The checks never arrived, and when I called, I rudely was told it was my fault and they had not given written notice of the referral both before and during the installation. And now, a year later, I sit, waiting for the service call I'd scheduled two weeks ago. They're scheduled for 11am to 1pm, but it's almost 2pm, and when we called we were told that, no, we scheduled for between 2pm and 6pm. We're pretty sure we did not do this, since we have dinner guests arriving at 6pm, and probably wouldn't schedule maintenance for that time. (Let me be clear: once again, they lie to cover their lousy punctuality, even though they make big noise on television about paying you if they're late for a scheduled appointment. I suspect they never have to pay, not because they are always on time, but because they lie about the time scheduled). Lies, lies, lies! I'll never recommend ECM to anyone (well, not anyone I like).

It was a great experience. They truly cared about the work they did and were very professional and personable. They told me what they were doing and why each step of the way. They didn't leave until the job was done and that wasn't unitl 7pm! I would trust them again!

They are crooks. The unit I had was working fine and I just wanted something more efficient. The whole house was 11 years old and was time I needed o get one, but I was trying to keep the other one going and I got on a contract with another company and he talked me into putting a UV light and told me about mold and things like that and this would prevent it. They charged me $1400 and I was sick at the time and was on disability and was venerable. I went for it and wrote them a cheque for it and later I found out that they just drove that in and don’t even charge for it. I called them after I had gone to a home show and saw that they give that away or if they do charge it is only a couple of hundred dollars. I told them that the most that anyone has been charged for that UV light is $600 and they did not want to budge on it or anything and I was still on the contract with them and a guy came and told me my unit was awful and needed replaced immediately. He told me that if he could call his boss and if I could get it right now, they would give me some special price and it was ridiculous. They were awful and I hate them.

Service was abysmal. Company would take about five days to come out to fix something if it was not considered an emergency. Their prices were the highest in the industry and unfortunately service was the worst--a bad combination! One time our refrigerator ice maker broke. I told them to come out with a new rubber flap to fix it. The man came out with no part to fix it. I had to call again to get someone to come out to fix it the way it should have been fixed the first time. The worst home warranty company we have ever dealt with!

They are fine. They do some plumbing, but they only do the mechanicle part of the applaince. putting in a cartridge or a faucet is not a mechanicle thing. They also repaired a toilet leak.

They were punctual and efficient and gave us an excellent quote. After we accepted, they sent their workers out and they did an excellent job installing the system. I would use this company again in the future.

They were well advertised. From whatever I could find on the internet they seemed to be pretty high rated by most people who used them. Their price was a little bit higher than some others. They came out within a day and they were very professional. I will be using them in future as I have signed a service contract with them.

Before this situation, the overall service is pretty good. I have had a good experience so far except for a manager we were not happy with, but everyone else is very good. Their quality of work and responsiveness is very good. I would not use them again after they fix this latest problem.

Everything went well. It wasn't perfect but it was ok. The initial inspection failed due to some small items which ECM fixed.

I did my research before I choose them and took bids from a number of companies. They did the work in basically one day! My old equipment had failed and I was in trouble. They were able to assemble the equipment that I wanted and get it here to install in one day. They were able to plan the work in such a way that we were not without air conditioning the whole time they were here. They had two men on the job that worked until they finished and worked beyond the normal working day to get the job completed. I thought this was good. The workmanship was excellent. They did a total clean up when they were finished and took away all of the old items. They were very competitive in their pricing. Their people were extremely professional and pleasant to work with. They were very considerate of our needs. They did a beautiful installation in terms of appearance. One of the units is in the house and the other is in the garage. On the occasion that I've needed a service call they were very good. They came out quickly and did the work that was under warranty so I didn't have to pay for it. They were very accommodating. They have a large number of trucks and so they can take care of any need quickly. I had a great deal of contact with the house people who all were just so nice. They were anxious to please. I will continue to use them, they're my people now. I couldn't have asked for more. Update Oct. 1 2012 See above second paragraph.

They are good. Their phone service is very good when you call with a problem. They are prompt and efficient. They give you a choice to time to come when you call.

They give us a window of time and they always show up. We have used them for 8 yrs.

ECM came out to repair my a/c unit, which had failed around 2 months after I took out a service contract with them. I chose the deductible plan, as I had had no problems and the plan was cheaper. The first call I was charged $45 and a cap was replaced and the unit tested. I subsequently had to have ECM out four more times for this unit. The problem could not be permanently fixed without replacing a non-covered part (the top of the unit). ECM located a part, but because of the price ($400) of the part and the age of the unit, I decided to replace the entire system. I was only charged for the initial $45 copay even though ECM came out multiple times. I feel that I was treated fairly. My only complaint is that after determining that the top of the A/C unit which holds the fan needed to be replaced( fourth visit), I had no communication from ECM for a number of days, delaying any decision that I could make. Once I had the information from ECM, I made the decision to replace.

Ecm Inc covers all of my appliances for an annual fee. This plumber was in and out in ten minutes and was very professional. I've been pleased with the response time of Ecm. This time the plumber came the day after I called. I thought that was a pretty good response time.

The installers were very capable and professional, very polite. They were easy to deal with. On a big job like that, I'm usually on top of their necks. They were very agreeable and did an excellent job. The installers found a defect in the new air handler and were able go to their warehouse and get a new one the same day (within an hour). They had to dismantle the air handler and put in the new one.

East Coast is a very reliable and convenient company to have around. I think there may be only two other companies like them in the area. They are so diverse they will work on almost any maintenance issue you have, except they will not go into the walls for plumbing problems. It gets really handy having them around since I manage a 168 unit condominium.

They told me that I had to have their service for at least two months or more so they would not do anything for me when my microwave broke after one month. I requested my money back (pro-rated) after one month, instead of getting back $100 I got $20 back and I think that is quite unfair.

Workers showed up on time, was neat, and I am happy with their work.

THEY ARE THE GROUP THAT DOES ALL OF THE REPAIR WORK FOR THIS AREA. WE HAVE A CONTRACT SO WE PAY MONTHLY. THEY ARE VERY EFFICIENT AND PROFESSIONAL. THEY ARE VERY PROMPT AT ANSWERING OUR CALLS FOR HELP.

THEY DID A PRETTY GOOD JOB. THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME AND GOT THE JOB DONE WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD. THEY DID WHAT THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO DO. THEY WERE POLITE AND COURTEOUS. I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS.

THEY DID A GOOD JOB. I HAVE NOT USED THEM VERY MUCH. THE TIMES THAT I HAVE USED THEM, THEY HAVE DONE A GREAT JOB. THEIR PRICES ARE NOT TOO BAD. THEY ALWAYS KNOW WHAT TO DO TO GET ANY PROBLEM FIXED.

ECM DOES VERY GOOD WORK. THEY FOLLOW UP WITH ME AFTER THE WORK HAS BEEN COMPLETED. THEY ARE A COMPANY THAT ALWAYS LEAVES ME A SATISFIED CUSTOMER. THEY HAVE MY GLOWING RECOMMENDATION.
