Description of Work: We had the dining room light relocated to the kitchen and a new light installed in the dining room. A fan replaced on the lanai, a light and fan replaced in our son's room and a 110 outlet changed to 220 for an advantium microwave. John worked quickly, knew exactly what to do and was pleasant to have in our house. Highly recommend.

Description of Work: They took down a ceiling fan and light and hung two chandileirs and medallions, fixed a floor switch that was not grounded ,and installed 9 dimmer switches, he also had to move one of the lights since it was not in the middle of the room. Terry patched the ceiling and had a drop cloth down to protect our belongings. He was very polite and on time. He gladly took our Angies list coupon that I had pulled online and when we went to use one of the lights later that day it did not work they returned immediately and corrected the problem. They quoted the cost up front and were very reasonable when we looked at other electricians and their availability was great too. I would definately recommend them to anyone in the area looking for an electrician! Michael and Susan

+ -1 moreThey replaced all the old breakers, fixed a couple of circuits that were cross wired, causing the breakers to trip and cleaned the box up from some sloppy wiring that had been done. Did it for the cost of the breakers, a reasonable retail cost, plus the service call and one hour of labor. I gave a bad recommendation to an other electrical contractor on the list but Goodwin is excellent and I would gladly use them again.
Description of Work: We had a bad circuit breaker that kept tripping. We also had a 40 year old box with a bunch of old breakers, a couple of which had already gone bad.

+ 0 moreUsually I would install my own fans but we have a room that had a ceiling of 14 feet and I didn't have a ladder long enough. The original fan had a griding motor and the fan manufacturer sent a replacement as it was under warranty. Since we had used Goodwin in the past we called up and they came out the next day. The employee did a great job. The fan has been up and running for about a month now. I would recommend Goodwin to anyone in the area needing electrical work done. Eric, the owner, even honored a coupon that we couldn't find until after the installer left. You do not find too many companies like this around here anymore.
