We Move On Demand

Arthur and his team headed by Eduardo are amazing. I have moved virtually every second year for the past 30 so I have a ton of experience. I cannot recommend this company and its team more highly. They have moved me three times in the past two years from Fort Lauderdale to Palm Beach Island to Jupiter as I try to figure out where I want to live in South Florida for the winters. I trust them completely, they are punctual, extremely efficient, and very well priced and most importantly they make the process a complete pleasure instead of a misery. I even recommended them to the owner of the home I just rented in Jupiter for her move out and she continues to rave about the experience after living in her same home without moving for fourteen years. They are just wonderful!!!

One word, Perfect. I had a complicated and large move from the start. After the meeting with Arthur, I was put at ease with his confidence. I had many expensive items to be moved. They included artwork, large mirrors, large heavy pieces of furniture and small delicate items. Plus everything else in a move. Not one item was damaged! The care that was taken by the crew to pack what had to be moved was amazing. Its impressive to not have any damage, but if you consider my items were moved twice. It is unbelievable. Also, the crew never complained about any request I made. They could have not been more professional and understanding. The overall value including cost and service is unmatched. Moving is always stressful. But if you choose Arthur and his group. I promise you will have one less thing to worry about.

We even had a storage unit near the house and they moved that too. The movers showed up with a extra trailer just in case. Arthur quoted me exactly what I was charged and even stopped by during the move to check that everything was going smoothly. All the movers were polite and friendly. Our new house is 2 story and they put all the boxes and furniture in all the right rooms without any problems.

Arthur came out and gave me a quote; he said there would be 4 movers on the day of the move; finally, when I booked with him, he told me that he'd only have 3 guys available, but that it would be sufficient. I was quoted for 6 hours as an estimate to move my house. Prior to the move, I moved almost ALL of the boxes myself, so the only thing left was furniture and other items that I couldn't move. This is relevant, because prior to the move, Arthur based his quote on moving the things they actually moved AND the boxes, so if anything, the amount of time actually required should have been less. The movers were great, but it ended up taking 11+ hours. The truck that Arthur had them bring was too small, so they ended up having to load it, move it, go back, reload, and make another trip. When I talked to Arthur he told me that it was my fault and that he sent 3 people because I told him I had moved the boxes and that I claimed I only needed 3 people --- which is completely false. Arthur made up whatever story he needed to in order to justify being able to get another job, knowing that he was sending an insufficient amount of manpower to get the job done within the quoted time. He then responded with, "I don't give a s***" when I told him that I had moved an entire van-load of boxes myself. The actual movers were great and ended up giving me a 1 hr discount, but Arthur was a real piece of work and I would NEVER recommend anyone deal with him or his company. He says he's a professional and so he knows how to estimate properly, but he clearly failed here and did nothing to try to help the situation.

The move went extremely well. They packed when said they would and moved us when they said would. They truly cared about the quality of the move.

Arthur came out to give an estimate. He was right on time and walked through the entire house to give an estimate of the moving costs. He quoted approx $650. On the day of the move, there was no phone call to touch base, and no one had showed up an hour after the scheduled appointment. I called Arthur's cell phone and he immediately answered, but had changed the arrival time to early afternoon without notifying me, and tried to make me feel bad about the fact that I was asking questions. He stated he would call and find out what happened to his team. I then received a call from someone else stating they would be at the house at a certain time. Two hours later, a truck arrived. That is now 5 hours later than the time we had arranged. We were only moving across town so had already moved all of our clothes, and some boxes but the move still took 2 hours longer than originally quoted. That incurred an extra $200 or so added onto the bill. The movers did a good job wrapping the furniture, but scratched a brand new porcelain floor on the roof top deck when packing the grill. I was relatively happy with the workers, but the coordination by the owner did not meet my expectations based on the Angie's list recommendations.

The packers, Edwardo and Waldire arrived at our home early, unloaded and staged the packing materials outside the front door and began the job right on time! They were courteous, professional, efficient and proficient in every aspect of the effort. The following day was "move day". A team of Hector, Brandon and Ruben joined Edwardo and Waldire to load the large moving truck as well as a trailer - and at no additional cost, went back for a second load. It was a true pleasure to work with these men - and easy too. I am only fluent in English, so it was very helpful that the crew was fluent in English as well! The guys worked hard and kept at it for 11 hours. All-in-all, they turned what could have been a nerve wracking couple of days into a very smoooooth move!!!

Arthur (the owner) meet with us about a week before the move to give us the estimate and took pictures of everything that needed to be moved. The contract stated that the "whole house" was included and we asked specific questions to verify that everything was included in the price. His estimate was based on 4 men for 8 hours and the truck which resulted in an estimate of approximately $1500.00. The final price was about $3000.00 because of the "extra time" required. Arthur was not present during the move which took 2 days and we were given the final bill by one of "his men" after they were finished. We contacted Arthur and complained about the extra cost and he said that he would work with us by refunding $250.00. We called him about a week later to say we had not received his check and to this date we still have not received it. We would advise that you do not do business with Move on Demand.

Excellent. Highly recommended. They showed up on time and went to work immediately. These guys did not stop until the job was done. They made sure that nothing was scratched. Everything was double wrapped with moving blankets and shrinkwrap. Very professional and courteous. Using them for our move was money well spent.

Awesome experience!! Moves are probably one of the most stressful activities but these guys made it very easy. From dealing with owner Arthur Yale on setting up the logistics to the crew of Hector, Augustino, and Brandon, they were professional and friendly. Everything was well-wrapped and arrived all in one piece! They worked very hard and very efficiently. Nice group of people.

From my first meeting with Arthur, the owner, I knew I was going to be in good hands. His professionalism, honesty, and caring was evident from the moment we discussed the move. He was able to accommodate my moving date and made the move from house, to storage, to new house an easy transition. Also, I cannot say enough wonderful words to describe the team responsible for packing and moving our things. They were kind, polite, efficient, and a pleasure to work with. Everything arrived in perfect condition and again, the team could not have been more helpful. It was great to have Arthur follow up to make certain everything went well and I would highly recommend this company to anyone who wants a positive experience with their move.

Movers were very professional. Nothing was broken and everything was treated with care. The crews who packed and moved our things were personable and did a fabulous job. They worked hard and as quickly as they could, stopping for rain to protect our belongings. Would highly recommend them!

They are a great, dependable and hard working company. The movers themselves were polite, went the extra mile and made sure to check in with me if they had any questions instead of taking it upon themselves to "guess" the answer. They made two stops for me and each one went smoothly. I am really happy I decided to look on Angie's List where I know the companies are checked out. I read all the reviews on this company and each one had something positive to say.

These guys were great. Arrived on time, worked super fast and efficient. Everything was packed up great and we had no issues. They are very hard workers.

The guys were terrific. They wrapped all the furniture and placed it in my new home where I needed it. The only thing I was not happy about was they brought 10 large boxes to move my clothing which I told owner I was doing myself so they had to fit them back on truck and it took up space I needed to move plants by my pool(heavy). They offered to take another trip but I did not want to go over 8 hrs. It took 7 hrs. and was still charged full amount. Overall I would use them again. They did a great job!

My parents researched and recommended Move On Demand based on the reviews they read on Angie's List. This company was outstanding from the initial meeting with Arthur to the team of 3 men who did the job. The pricing was fair and the job was done quickly and efficiently. The men went out of their way to do whatever was necessary to have the job completed in exactly the time they said it would take. In this day and age of shady moving companies, Move On Demand stands out as a shining star. My parents will be using this company for their long distance move next week. There is no doubt that their job will be done as smoothly and professionally as mine was. This company is a winner!

OMG. These guys were amazing. I have lived overseas for 20 years and done multiple moves. These guys were capable, kind, fast, flexible. It was a dream move. I woke up in the morning dreading the day. I knew this was going to be a tad complicated. NADA. I am happy about everything. The supplies were unlimited. The packing was professional and actually over the top. I had chinese antiques and a lot of glass tops... NOTHING was broken and it rained. Not just a little bit, it poured. They never lost their smile. They never denied me an adjustment. NEVER an attitude. I just loved these guys. Absolutely, I would use them again. In a minute... Thank you. Thank you. Thank you! Great company, overbooked too far in advance, booked for weeks. If you want to use this company, book a month in advance.

They showed up on time, worked quickly, and took very good care of our household items while unpacking. I will definitely use them again!

I was very impressed with the service, quality and results of the move. They where extremely organized and knew exactly what was to be done and executed perfectly. I could not have asked for anything different. The men worked at a very fast pace, but extremely respectful of my furniture and goods. Eduardo was the gentleman who seemed to be in charge, and he was extremely courteous and polite..

My husband and I wanted to use Move on Demand for our move. However they were not available. Because I was so impressed with Arthur and the service he could provide I recommended this moving company to a friend of mind and she just told me they were fabulous. They were professional- they were on time-and she was couldn't have been happier with them. I was so happy for my friend and told her that I would write a review. Angie's list is just the best!

I had not moved in 26 years. I worked my way thru college by working for a moving company so I knew what to expect and to be concerned about. Arthur Yale promised that his crews would take care of all of my belongings. Each member of his 2 crews (one to load one day, the other to unload the next day) were more than courteous, and careful with my "stuff." Nothing was damaged in any way - how could it be, they wrapped erervything! They were on time and on budget. I would highly recomend Move on Demand for anyone who was even a bit leary of the whole moving experience.

Mostly good experience, some bad. They are very cordial, they provide boxes, packing tape and packing paper. Accommodated us by changing the moving date. He said the truck would be there at 6am, they didn't show up until 7:30am. So they were a little late, and they compensated by having more help to make the move faster. Currently awaiting a furniture repair person to repair the scratch on the dinning room table. Overall I was pleased with the moving experience.

A great experience - Arthur Yale was very professional and a delight to work with. During the move, Arthur was "hands-on" with his movers, checking in on them, etc. This was a big move and these guys are pros. They knew how to get it done and did so without a problem. I am especially pleased with the low cost of this move compared with other moving companies. I will definitely recommend this company.

It was fine. It was a little bit difficult getting in touch with each other. He was quite busy when I needed to do the move but he was flexible enough and I was flexible too so we work it out and it was fine.
