We Move On Demand

We were very pleased with the price, service and quality of the moving crew. They were polite at all times and did their best to make sure we were pleased with all aspects of our move.

I cannot recommend this company enough. This was the second time I've used them in four years. Arthur came and gave me an estimate. I was doing simultaneous closings in one day, so it was uncertain if both properties would close in a timely fashion. He gave me the cost if they could deliver my belongings in the same day, and the cost if they had to hold my things on the truck overnight. Luckily, we were able to do it in one day. Eduardo and his crew arrived a little early actually, wrapped all my furniture, put my clothes in wardrobe boxes (that you are allowed to use for free), and got everything on the truck in time for my buyers to do a walk-thru. They waited around in the area while the closings took place, and three hours later, delivered my things to my new home. They unloaded everything, put the furniture back together and were done in 2 1/2 hours! The guys were GREAT! Professional and friendly and took very good care of my things. After everything was in the house, Eduardo took out the estimate/invoice that Arthur had written out, and I was charged exactly what I had been quoted. We Move on Demand is truly everything you could ask for in a moving company.

Went well, but will next time take out the drawers to my dressers because when the turned the furniture up every thing shifted and moved from one drawer to the next one. lesson learned for the next move.

We were amazed by the professionalism of these movers. Two strong young man arrived right on time on the first day and had everything out of the house within two hours. When they came back right on time again, they did not use dollies as they had complete care for our newly refinished floors. Brian and Eduardo helped us put caster cups and felt pads on every piece of furniture they replaced. They carried the piano from the kitchen to the living room and placed it on the special caster cups. They were strong, thoughtful, and professional. This company is not the cheapest, but they are well worth the cost for their reliability and expertise. Highly recommended.

When I contacted them through Angie's list, they responded immediately. Arthur came out to my home (my first quote of 3) and after going through my home and taking pictures with his IPAD for inventory he gave me a quote. I told him I would not be making the decision at that time because I was getting two more quotes. He was a bit pushy about it, but asked if I'd call him before making a final decision (a common sales tactic) but I agreed. Initially when he came to my home he told me we didn't have that much furniture. He also contacted a storage unit he highly recommended and assured me that he could get us best possible pricing. So when I called him back after getting the 3 quotes because I believe in doing what I said I would, he starting getting all defensive about his pricing and company (they were not the cheapest) but based on the high Angie's list ratings, I decided I'd move forward with him (after some negotiations) and hire them to do both moves. I then asked him what storage size he recommended. He told us a size, which seemed small. After speaking with my husband, he agreed with me that it sounded small. So again, I called Arthur to confirm with him that he was sure about the size of the storage unit. He assured me it was correct based on his professional opinion. We started shopping for storage units and again Arthur suggested the same storage company he had before (which was a nice facility) but more expensive. Based on Arthur's suggestions and in an attempt to reduce our confusion, I decided to go with their storage facility as well as the size he said and reserved a first floor air-conditioned unit (again his suggestion). All seemed to be going fairly well. On moving day, the movers were there right on time. The lead team member was friendly, polite and hard working. His team was also friendly and professional. They began packing up the truck and asked us what we had reserved for a storage unit. I told him. He instantly knew that it was too small. We immediately called the storage company and asked they if they had something bigger or an additonal unit (we were panicked) and they did. However, the price was going to be an additional $280 above the $300 per month we were already paying. We were upset because when we had shopped for storage, we could have reserved two units that totaled a larger square footage for only $350, but Arthur ASSURED us we would not need it and to go with this storage company. We weren't born yesterday and know there must be some connection between the moving company and the storage facility, but we were ok with that in order to make it more convenient for all as long as we weren't being taken advantage of and charged additional. Instead, we trusted and listed to the professional advice of these highly rated movers and ended up paying an additional $200 above what we needed to. When we contacted Arthur about the situation, he was rude, defensive and suddenly lost his professionalism. After we spoke to another person in the company, Arthur was then offering (which we took) a $50 discount. When we finally got to our new home and began opening boxes, I did find a few things broken, but because the actual movers were so kind, we didn't complain. They did also break a piece that cost a bit of money and Arthur has done nothing in response to my husband for that item. I have to say that the movers themselves were really hard working and professional. I wouldn't hire the company again, but I would hire the individual movers. I don't have any issues paying a fair price and sometimes even more when you are getting amazing quality, but I do NOT like it when I feel that I've been lied to and misled. I was definitely misled at an additional $200 per month.

We have a lot of stuff--probably too much. The movers with this company worked very hard for hours to pack our entire house and move it. I couldn't believe it got done all in one day, but they worked tirelessly and with a much better attitude than I would have had! They were on time, professional, and did a great job packing. Nothing damaged, all beds reassembled, things all put in the correct rooms. The owner is pleasant and responsive, and the price was very reasonable.

They where professional and better than I could have hoped for. They took care of my home as if it was there's. I had even changed the date twice. We moved during a rain storm and everything was coved and nothing got wet or damaged. They were the best.

We Move on Demand is phenomenal. This company is the real deal. Our moving crew showed up on time, were very professional, friendly, and true gentlemen. Everything was properly wrapped and taking care of like it was their own. This is my new go to moving company. If you are moving call these guys!!

Arthur gave a great first impression. He was friendly, informative, and professional in providing our estimate. The price was competitive with other estimates I received, and Arthur's commitment to service is what swayed me to hire his company. The estimate was clear and detailed, and a "high" and "low" number were provided based on how things went the day of the move. The day of the move the crew arrived on time, and got down to business. The 3-man crew was friendly and professional, and they worked hard. It was clear they knew what they were doing, which made the whole experience low-stress. They took good care of all our belongings, and really the whole thing went well. They finished in time for the "low" estimate to be due. Well done!

Very Professional! Arthur was very adaptable and wonderful to work with. Moving crew went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied with every step of my move. I highly recommend them. Just an FYI... I bought donuts, bottled water and coke cola for them . They were so appreciative; you'd think I gave them each a $100.00 p,p. tip!. Happy Crew,,, Happy Move!

Arthur arrived punctually to provide an estimate. He voluntarily showed proof of licensing and insurance. He also emphasized prior awards the business had received through Angies List. His estimate was provided promptly, and was several hundreds of dollars less than a prior estimate from another mover and almost identical to to a third estimate. The estimate was based upon 10 hours of work, although the actual move required less than 5 hours. The move had to be rescheduled just a couple of days prior to the original date. This was accommodated with minimum grumbling and no additional cost. On moving day, the movers arrived when scheduled with 6 men and 2 trucks. After introducing everyone, they went to work. They worked continuously and efficiently. Everything went very smoothly. The furniture was handled quickly, but with care during the loading process. After a short intra-county drive, both trucks were unloaded just as quickly into the storage unit. They were very willing to work with us on furniture placement in the unit, grouping similar pieces together and leaving aisles to get to items in the back. We definitely will consider using We Move On Demand again.

First of all, I enjoy talk to the owner Arthur Yates, very customer friendly and professional. When his crew showed up they were very organized and work hard to get everything moved in he allotted them and safe. I plan to use them again when I sale my house and have to move my furniture into storage. Great choice!

It went great! The movers showed up on time. They were very professional and courteous. They wrapped the furniture, and we're very careful with my belongings. They were efficient, and everything went smoothly.

The move went great. We were not given a specific start time, only late morning. I was expecting a very late start time, however I was called at 9:45 saying they would be there in 30 minutes. They showed up right on time. After a quick walk through of the house, the gentlemen got right to work and moved all furniture without any issue. We asked them to put more furniture into a storage unit than should have fit, but the guys took care and time to get everything in for us. The price was as stated, and much better than another quote we received. Will definitely call again for any other move.

We just found out that we were closing on my condo literally in four days.We had to get out. We called Arthur on short notice, the owner of the company, and asked him if his men could come move us on Saturday morning. He asked us what we had to move, he gave me a very fair price on the phone. He didn't even get a chance to come out to see what we had, because of such short notice. He juggled a few things and made it happen. Two men showed up exactly on time ready to work. Edwardo and Waldir were very friendly, and willing to help us in any and every way. We had a big Trinitron TV that we needed to get off of the wall unit and throw into the dumpster. Edwardo picked up the TV in one swoop and put it on his dali for us to haul to the dumpster. They gave us a few helpful suggestions about our furniture. They didn't add any extra charges than what was quoted. We are very pleased with their professionalism and when we move again to our new house in 3 months, we are definitely going to call We Move on Demand without hesitation.

We Move on Demand provided the BEST moving experience I have ever had. It started with a home visit from Arthur who was punctual, professional and his price was $500 below the two other quotes I had received prior. I set my move date with Arthur and then when our closing date changed on our house so we needed to move the date. Arthur went above and beyond to work with me and adjust the date. On moving day we received a call 40 minutes prior letting us know that they were on schedule. The team arrived, checked out the house and immediately began working. I was blown away at their professionalism and their attitude. I worked alongside of them for most of the move as I had some last minute items to pack. When they arrived at my new place, my wife had picked up Jimmy Johns and the team took a quick lunch break and then jumped back at it again. I ran point and directed the crew on where to put the items and we laughed and joked and had a great time. They finished on time and either met or surpassed every expectation I had. These guys are pros. If you want a great moving experience, hire them. Let me also mention that it was late August in the high 90's when they did the move. And they still did an amazing job!

Everyone was very professional and responsive. Arthur came to our old house and gave us an accurate idea of what would be involved in the move. Brian called us to let us know he was coming. He and his crew arrived on time with all needed equipment and supplies. They moved us faster than we thought they could and there were no problems at all. We would definitely use them again.

This was the best moving experience that we've ever had. Every single worker greeted me and my husband. There was no complaining and no wasting time. They wrapped our furniture very well, and nothing was broken. We had 4 capable guys. Another national moving company quoted us 17 hours for this move, and We Move on Demand did it in 5. We paid by flat fee, but these guys made sure to ask us if they could do anything else for us at the end of the move instead of running out of the door. Honestly, we will never use another moving company!

I was very anxious on finding a mover that would not damage my items and provide a good experience. I specifically joined Angie's List to find a mover. I called several companies that received top reviews and so glad I chose this company. From the start Arthur was prompt was a return call, friendly and patient as I explained my needs. My move was a last minute move and Arthur worked to squeeze me in and reassured me the move would be taken care without issue. The day before the move Arthur called to confirm the time. On the day of the move the movers called prior to arriving to let me know they were on their way. They arrived on time and ready to work. They were extremely efficient and careful with all my items. They wrapped all the furniture, glass items and anything that was wood, even a small bathroom cabinet that would normally never get wrapped. All three of the movers were professional, friendly and efficient. They finished within the quoted time frame and not one item had a scratch or dent! I highly recommend We Move on Demand, you will not be disappointed!

Short Review: Just call Arthur and hire his crew if you want a moving company that does exactly what they say they will do. Thats it, just hire them. You won't regret it. Long Review: I am in my mid-30s and have relocated on average every 1.5 years since I left home for college. I have most of it down to a science at this point which includes changing addresses, forwarding USPS, calling FPL, swapping cable providers, managing condo associations, buying the set list of Home Depot moving supplies, etc. The only part that has infuriated/frustrated me was hiring movers and the actual moving day. My fristration has compouneded over the years as I have paid increasing amounts of money to moving companies as my "stuff" has grown. Get a flat rate? They will slam it out as fast as they can and your furniture will suffer and your relief is capped at $0.60 per pound. Get an hourly rate quote? Good luck having it all done by 7pm... I don't mind paying for quality, but that's exactly what I expect. Before hiring We Move On Demand, I would tell you "moving day" was always the worst day of the year. Worse than the dentist, worse than tax return day, worse than [you name it]... The WORST. I have found that 80-90% of the time anything a moving company tells you is a complete guess or lie just to get your business. They over promise and under deliver. Being a details guy and very particular about things in general, this has always been a huge pain. I called Arthur about 3 weeks before my planned move date to hash out the details. I got him directly on the third ring. Covered the begin/end address, contents of the items, condo association rules, elevator reservation, etc. He was very responsive with a well-documented job quote that allowed for a flat fee up to a set number of hours with an hourly rate over the initial time allotment. He was also really helpful getting the very specific insurance paperwork taken care of that the condo association required. The crew was coming from the WPB/Fort Lauderdale area to arrive at 9am in downtown Miami to hit our elevator window 9a-12:30p (Thats all the time you get, so better get it done). Crew arrived at 8:45a. What? They got there early? What about the "awful I-95 rush hour traffic" and the "truck breaking down"? Nope, these guys got there early looking sharp. They covered the very clear and professional paperwork, did a quick survey of the items going, and got to work. Nearly all of the boxes were gone within the first 45 minutes and loaded up. Within the first hour, they expertly wrapped/tapped the furniture with blankets and shrink wrap with zero issues. Hanging clothes were carefully boxed up in wardrobes. Although I generally have things pretty tidy before a move, but I didn't hear a single complaint from the crew about the job. We could tell they were really masters of their craft. Very personable guys and they were pleasant to have around. Made up to the house in fort lauderdale and the truck was emptied in about 90 minutes. All the blankets, tape, shrink wrap gone. Did a final walk through and it was done in just under 5 hours from start to finish. COMPLETELY PAINLESS. Like I said earlier, just call Arthur and hire them!

We looked for the highest rated Moving Company on Angie's List and We Move On Demand was on top of the list. Even though, I interviewed several moving companies, the price and quality that Art from We Move On Demand provided couldn't be beat. What was extremely frustrating to me about other companies was that they would give me a price and then turn around and say, "oh the tv or that picture will be extra", What I liked best about Art was that he gave us a FIXED PRICE MOVE. There was no hidden costs. This made me feel comfortable to give him my business. Also, as with every large move, we had to switch around certain dates and times and no matter how many times, I called Art, he was always very gracious and kind which made a world of difference to me. On the day of the move, the movers were extremely professional and treated all our stuff with great care. We were thoroughly impressed with the service that we received and I would recommend We Move On Demand to everyone.
