We Move On Demand

The movers arrived 45 minutes late, it took twice the time to load as I was quoted, they were supposed to follow us over and unload the same day. When they did not show up on time I called and was told they had a flat tire. Now they are over four hours late. When they arrived to unload. the door would not roll up. The blankets were jammed in the door. They forced the door up and down many times (I have video and pics). My wooden hutch (65" wide x 48" high by 15.5"deep) was on the back of the truck and a large chunk, over 3", was ripped off the top. I signed the delivery receipt noting the damages, I called Arthur while the movers were there and I have pics of them actually damaging the hutch.Arthur would not return my phone calls. I sent TEN emails and he stated "he couldn't find a repair person" and offered me $125. I called the next day and found a repair person who quoted $262.35 after I sent them the pics. Arthur said he would not pay the quoted amount. My last email was over 30 days ago and he refuses to respond. The damages NOTED ON THE DELIVERY RECEIPT will cost $262.35 to repair and Arthur refuses to respond by phone or email. The last time we spoke he was outrageously rude and literally said, "that's what you have homeowner's insurance for". I have damaged furniture from 60 days ago and Arthur will not take my calls or answer my emails. BTW, the picture on their web-site is NOT Arthur.

The move was amazing and stress-free. I was notified a week before that all required insurance info was presented to Building Management. I received a call reconfirming the move one day prior. I received a call a half hour before the scheduled move to ask where the truck should park. My possessions were treated with care and respect. The team was exceptionally polite, courteous and efficient. The owner of the company, Arthur Yale, is a man of his word and his employees conduct themselves as his extended family. I interviewed several firms and so glad to have chosen this company. You're nuts to use anyone else......

Excellent from start to finish. Arthur showed up on time to give me an estimate, which was very fair and reasonable for the work that needed to be completed. The moving crew was very professional -- completed the job in less time than originally anticipated, nothing broke, they put all furniture back together and placed every box and piece of furniture where it needed to go.

I used Arthur and his crew to move in and out of a high rise, where they were one of the few vendors approved due to their quality of work and robust insurance. Arthur was polite, prompt and fair. They have me a fair price but more importantly these were people who had a work ethic. They were respectful, polite, careful and kind. I am about to use them for a 3rd move and would never call anyone else!

Ok except they under estimated truck size...the couldn't take everything I wanted because the truck was full

Fantastic. Right from the beginning, you work with Arthur the President and owner. He discussed every option until we settled on the most cost effective one. We discussed the services that are included at no additional charge, Free use of Wardrobe boxes, no mileage or fuel. Disassembly and Reassembly of furniture. No hidden charges or agenda. Then, Eduardo was the foreman on the move. His team worked very fast. They had a system in place and they were out of our condo with 2 1/2 hours. Incredible.

Amazing! These guys were on time, hard working and knowledgable. They were able to fit so much more than I expected into the unit and in just 3 hours! They were friendly and efficient and I wish they could be there on the other end of my move- but it's out of state. Worth every penny!!

Before the move, Arthur the owner came to my apartment and gave and estimate for 5 hours and $725 for the move. After researching I thought it was slightly pricey, but his reviews were great and there were no complains about hidden charges so I went with We Move on Demans I can't state that this move went about as perfectly as possible. The day started well, the movers were there early so we started the job on time. They came up to an apartment, I gave them instructions on what they were moving and they immediately began to wrap and move my stuff to their truck. It took ~2 hours to move my stuff to their truck, about 25 minutes to drive to my house and ~2 hours to unload my truck. The workers never stopped, were efficient, respectful and overall knew how to do their job well. At first I thought the price was expensive, but it was just fairly priced. All I can ever ask for as a consumer is that a company does what they say they're going to do for the price they're going to do it for, and they did it on time. I WOULD 100% hire these guys again and you should too. My move was a stress free as possible.

I was very disappointed in the owner, Arthur. I signed up for one of the moving specials, $350 for 3 guys for 3 hours. In that my job was small, I knew this could be done no problem. Arthur did call me right away and chastised me for giving him limited dates that were 3 weeks out. He changed my date so that I would have to take a day off work, which was I agreed to. He said the movers would be there at 8:00 a.m. He called me the day before the move, said they couldn't be there at 8:00 a.m., but they would be there 'sometime.' The attitude floored me that he was in business dealing w/ customers speaking in such condescending manners. I pushed and he did say before lunchtime and the movers were there before lunch and did the move in ONE hour. I paid for THREE and had so much grief from Arthur about how long it would take and with such short notice and on and on....

"Overall, my experience with “Move on Demand” was positive. The staff was professional and respectful. A job that I thought was going to take them all day was completed in less than 4 hours. They were careful and organize. Move on Demand was really helpful in getting everything out of the apartment in a timely manner. Anytime I called the company, Arthur “the manager” picked up the call in a professional manner and very friendly. They are truly an expert in their profession and the services provided proved to be well beyond my expectations.

It went very smoothly and very efficiently. There were no frustration or disagreements at all. Got job done like clock work.

Contacted Arthur to obtain a quote for a move. He looked around and took pictures of every single item in the house to insure no extras were added after the quote, Provided a quote of $1900. On moving day, Arthur's crew showed up almost one hour late. No phone call, no contact whatsoever. The move started off OK. The crew was hustling, everything was rolling. Until Arthur's foreman went outside the house and made a phone call to Arthur telling him that the boxes were too heavy and there was too much stuff for $1900. This went on for approximately 1/2 hour. Then Arthur showed up, carrying on that he didn't like the way we packed the boxes -- each box was too heavy -- too much work for them -- after all they are movers. After half of the truck was loaded, Arthur came in my house and started to carry on. He started to give my wife a hard time while I was out of the room and he knew **** well my wife has been battling an illness all year. I told Arthur she can't get upset. At that time he informed me that he wanted an additional $300. for the move. Not wanting to upset my wife and cause a bigger scene I agreed to the extra $300.00. Now mind you, I did not get the senior discount as stated on Angie's List or a $50.00 Home Depot gift card. After they finished loading the truck, they discovered that it wasn't large enough to hold everything and we had to leave a number of items behind to be retrieved at a later date by us. Mind you this was all accounted for by Arthur on the original quote, other then a couple of dumbells that I added and Arthur had Okayed. This resulted in two 5-hour round trip drives by me (120 miles each way) to retrieve the items we left behind. His crew did work hard for the most part, so I paid for their lunch and gave a $50. tip for each man. My problem is really with Arthur and his lack of professionalism and his sarcastic attitude. Initially I was going to go with another mover who had wonderfull reviews and I should have. My contract stated that I had a fixed rate move which to me means all inclusive with no additional costs. I should not have had to pay an extra $300 because he miscalculated and his crew did not feel it was enough money. Would I use them again -- **** NO!!

This is my second move using the company and I could not have asked for more. They are remarkably professional, each member of their team is very polite and considerate. They arrived early and provided two extra people to expedite the loading process. Everything was handled carefully and efficiently. Arthur is a gem and so easy to work with; perhaps as important, his people reflects a top-down quality that is hard to find anywhere. I almost wish I could move more often just to watch them work (not really, but it sounds good). I highly recommend this company as anyone's movers.

Everyone arrived right on time each day. The packing crew was wonderful and very thoughtful. They Suggested ways they could label the boxes in a way that we would know exactly what was in the boxes when it came time to unpack. They did a great job! The moving crew was FANTASTIC! They worked non stop as quickly as they could. They were professional and kind and caring moving our home. I would highly recommend this company. Arthur Yale was a gentleman and everything he said would happen did. Great experience !

This company took the "stress" completely out of Moving Day. For the estimate, Arthur arrived to our house early, took inventory notes of our belongings on his iPad and took pictures to properly determine the size of the truck needed. Some moving companies will only quote you over the phone. We had to change the date and he was very accommodating. On moving day, the moving team called to say they were on their way and arrived on time. They brought the perfect sized truck and were very professional. They moved quickly but carefully. They had a special way of putting the fragile boxes in their truck to keep them secure and wrapped every mattress and every piece of furniture at no extra charge. They also put our clothing in wardrobe boxes at no extra charge, as other moving companies will charge you per box. Some companies over-estimated the number of guys required for the job and the length of time needed. Arthur's estimate was right on the money so I didn't over pay for labor. They efficiently moved us into our new house and put everything in its proper room and re-assembled. Nothing was broken or damaged. I would recommend this company 10-fold to anyone that is looking for a moving company especially if you're looking for a stress-free move.

I contacted Arthur for a quote. I was immediately given a quote over the phone. I contacted him one day later to secure the date. I had to remind him of the quote I was given. Several days later, I contacted Arthur to confirm the appointment and requested that he email a confirmation of the quote and the services to be provided. A week had passed and I had not received an email confirmation of the quote. I contacted him again and provided him with my correct email address. He promised that an email would be sent. 24 hours went by and I still had not received an email confirmation. If this was any indication of their services, I would not choose to deal with them. I cancelled my appointment with them.

I cannot say enough great things about this company. I found We Move On Demand here on Angie's List. I read every review, then called. Arthur (love him) came out and gave us an estimate. There was absolutely no pressure, he merely told us to call when we've made a decision. Subsequently our closing was delayed for 2-3 days. I called Arthur's' office at 8:30pm expecting to leave a phone message and hear from him in the morning. He called me back within 5 minutes! Although already impressed, this was nothing. His movers were great; very professional and used care with our items. When they arrived to our new home, 5 hours away, they quickly unloaded, unwrapped and put our furniture back together. NOT ONE ITEM was missing or broken. By coincidence, our neighbors house closed too quickly and he had to move out in 3 days. The called Arthur, who responded there THAT NIGHT, and had them packed and moved 2 days later. I would absolutely recommend We Move On Demand.

I called Arthur Yale and set a date for an estimate. He arrived on time and gave me a price that was reasonable. He agreed that the actual date of the job would be called in when I was ready. I set the date a few days later. The guys doing the job came on time as promised and were fast and careful in packing my stuff. They packed my artwork and other furniture and held it in storage while my condo was painted and new construction was completed. The total cost of the job was higher than I originally planned but that was because my stuff ended up being stored longer than originally planned. When I was ready for my things to be delivered back home, I called Arthur and we set a date and time and the final amount of funds due on delivery. The same crew delivered my stuff. The guys doing the job came on time as promised and were great getting everything back in place.

It was a true pleasure working with this company. Arthur at the office was very helpful and available at all times. The movers were very professional, on time, and curtious. As someone who used to own a moving company I can confidentiality recommend We Move on Demand for any relocation job.

Loved the company from the initial visit by owner Arthur Yale to do estimate. He made sure to explain the process, the charges, and everything I should expect the day of the move. On the day of the move my movers arrived promptly on time. They were extremely nice, friendly, and professional in both their appearance and moving abilities. They took the time to walk through my house to go over everything that was to be moved. I was very impressed with the care the guys took in making sure all my stuff was protected and treated like it was their own. Every step of the way they made me feel comfortable and in good hands. When all was said and done, everything was exactly how Arthur said it would be, from the excellent service to the amount on my contract. Just an all around great company. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing excellent professional movers at a great cost. If I ever move again I will not hesitate to call Arthur and his crew as they make you feel like friends and family.

This company is the best!! They are honest and could not have helped to make my move any easier. From the scheduling to the delivery, I can honestly say that they made the entire experience beyond pleasant (and that is not typical during a move!). When Mr, Yale quoted me for the move he was very efficient and knew what he was doing, even when it turned out that I needed some extra help packing a few last minute items that I just didn't have enough time or supplies for, his guys jumped right in and helped without batting an eye. The movers were punctual, worked very quickly and got the job done!! As a single mom, this was not a easy time for me and with the help of We Move on Demand, I was able to get everything completed and moved with no problems at all. I lived in a 2-story home with very narrow doorways and halls and they were very careful and took everything apart ( they even took pictures to be sure to put it all back together as it was) and then rebuilt it in our new home. They were generous with their time and of course I knew I would need to pay for the extra hours that I needed over what we had discussed and again, they were extremely fair and I would recommend this company with 110% certainty. From beginning to end they were extremely professional, friendly and efficient. The BEST moving experience we have ever had, and we have moved quite a bit over the last ten years. We will use them again for our next move. Thanks Arthur!
