Kathryn Fagan Enterprises Inc

Description of Work: Kathryn Fagan Enterprises Inc is a company that does it all, supposedly.....which was initally a big help to me after my husband passed away suddenly in late 2008. This company worked for me since early 2009; the amount i spent since that time is probably much more than i indicated above; I just had to enter a number! They were a big help to me in organizing my house, which was an overwhelming task to me as I am also disabled. They also provided weekly cleaning services, and watched my home and dogs when I was called away. Over the years, there were instances where things were broken, damaged of missing, but there was always some excuse given so I accepted it because I really needed the help. The real problems happened in the summer of 2011 when substantial damage was done to my home while under the care of this company; for example they allowed my dogs to urinate all over my carpets and refused to pay the cleaning costs, they allowed costly landscaping to die because they failed to water or fix the sprinklers as instructed, their website claims that they will supervise the contractors they recommend, yet they did not supervise the painting of my house trim and my driveway was splattered with paint which I cannot afford to fix. In any case, I was planning to pay my bill but simply asked for TIME in which to pay the very large bill, as i am on a fixed income and my budget is very tight. I actually stopped using their services when i realized I could not afford to pay. Ms. Fagan, the owner of the business, refused to return my house keys along with other items in her possession which belong to me, unless I paid my bill in full. She continually sent me abusive emails and text messages, telling me i should be ashamed of myself , etc.....she had her husband call and threaten me in the middle of the night....and perhaps most outrageous of all, she posted false and incriminating comments on my own facebook page, betraying the "strict policy of privacy and confidentiality" she touts on her website. Because of her incessant demands for money, I sold my son's car so that I could pay her. She actually agreed to a settlement in writing by email, but on 3 separate occasions failed to comply with the terms she herself had set; I was prepared to give her money if she would only return my things, but she did not show up or even have the courtesy to indicate in advance that she would not be there. In fact on the final occasion, she wasted not only my time but the time of the nice BSO officer who was called in from her patrol to assist us, all at Ms. Fagan's request. When I returned from that non-meeting, I found an email from Ms Fagan telling me to never contact her again by any means. Would you believe that one of the items she refuses to return is my son's winter jacket? What kind of person keeps a jacket from a child? I believe her conduct has been very unprofessional to say the least.....I asked only for time to pay a large bill and this treatment was the result....after I had been a good client for a few years. It seems that it was truly all about money, as she was not even willing to work with me during difficult times.
