First Response Plumbing was at my home last Monday.Punctual they showed up 30 minutes early.They saved my wife and I $75.00 she had called another company a few days earlier for an estimate.My wife was greeted by their plumber who serviced the call. I was not home and I appreciate his efforts to be on time offer a great price courteous and had the job finished in a reasonable time frame.I will recommend First Response Plumbing to anyone in need of a professional company that service south Florida.Thank you!

They replaced an existing water heater valve and let the Handle inside the wall , there is no way what so ever to shut it off .

The water heater pipe and water valve installation have been revised. However, the water valve intended for controlling water flow is inaccessible, as it has been enclosed within the wall. Consequently, there is no means to operate the valve and shut off the water supply. (Please refer to the attached pictures for further clarification.)

A representative from this company contacted me after I submitted my inquiry. The rep was polite and told me that they were sending a technician to evaluate my bathroom sink at no cost. He said that once the technician finds out what the problem is, he will let me know the price. When the technician (Paul) arrived he was very sweet and took a look at my sink. At first, he said I needed a small part, but then he realized there was nothing wrong with my sink. He stated that maybe one of my Airbnb guests may have tampered with the valve. He said that the valve was slightly opened. All he did was turn the valve on, and my bathroom sink stopped making noise. He did absolutely nothing. I was like That is it, and he said, Yep!" It took Paul less than 2 minutes for Paul to figure out the problem. Paul said there was no charge because he did absolutely nothing. All he did was turn the valve on. He said that he could make up a lie but he is an honest person and would not do that. He was so honest and sweet, that I had to give him a tip. I did not have much in my wallet, but I gave him a little something, so he can get lunch and he left. Five minutes later, Paul came back, saying that he had to charge me 250 dollars. I was in total shock! I think Paul supervisor told him to come back to charge me. I said NO and that I wanted to speak to his supervisor. That is ridiculous to charge someone $250 for doing absolutely nothing, and if I would have known he was going to charge me that, I would have gone with another company. I have had different plumbing companies fix things in my house, and I have never been charged so much money, especially if they did not do any work. The supervisor had the nerve to tell me that even though he did not do anything, the problem was solved and I had to pay $250, but since his technician failed to tell me that, he will not charge me. Please do not use this company! If you decide to use this company, just be aware that they are going to charge you a ridiculous fee, whether they fix something or not. Make sure they give you a quote that you are comfortable with. I normally do not write reviews, but this company got me so mad, that I had to write one. The best way this company can improve is by being transparent and honest.

First time we used this excellent service! Paul did an excellent job, taking the toilets apart, asking relevant questions, and working over two hours! We would highly recommend this company based on the hard work this man accomplished today!

I've been using this plumbing company for a few years and every time I am amazed at how they show up on time and do an excellent job. When I was shopping for a new shower head and didn't know which to buy, the owner was nice enough to let me send photos to his cell phone so that I was sure to buy the appropriate items. Their personalized service is a rarity these days. Their technician, Dimitry has performed the recent jobs and is always polite and completes the work with a smile.

HomeAdvisor, My review of First Response Plumbing is based on three factors: 1. Their ability to resolve the problem I called them for 2. The impact of their work on my home and/or any other damages resulting from their work 3. Their accountability for their work and credibility. I called First Response to repair a slow leaking show faucet that was more of a nuisance to my tenant than any damage. Additionally, before their arrival, I asked them to repair a slow draining sink as well. I used Home Advisor's rankings because I wanted a credible source to do the work when I was not near the home in Florida. 1. First Response quoted me $250 to repair both jobs on arrival. They fixed the sink drain, but did not have the necessary parts to repair the leaky faucet. They told my tenant they would be back the next day with the needed parts. First Response did not arrive back or call the next day. My tenant waited for a few days, but First Response did not come back for 4 days before she had to leave out of town. 2. After the initial visit and attempted repair, my tenant noticed a new leak appear in the floor below the tub where a leak came through the ceiling onto the couch below. I notified First Response and asked them to come fix this problem. First Response's owner Jon came quickly and fixed the leak through the ceiling, but the original small leak from the faucet to the tub remained. 3. I contacted First Response owner Jon afterwards and informed him that the leak was not fixed. A person was sent out to review the problem. The owner Jon told me that it would be $200 more to fix this leak that was never done the first time. He attempted to tell him that my visit was for a clogged drain before despite my HomeAdvisor Request, specifically indicating that I had leaky faucet. Jon left my house worse than prior to his visit with my drain still leaking and remnants in my ceiling from a leak he caused. He assumed no responsibility and refused to fix the original leak problem that I called him for. I don't recommend First Response Plumbing for the reasons above. Contacting him has cost me several hours of trying to resolve the problem that still exists and I am not happy with the character he displayed in running his business.

Did not know there was a minimum charge for the work. I called them & asked if there was a service call charge. They said no but they didn’t tell me about the minimum charge. However, they came out same day and fixed (2) problems same day.

This company went, as I say, “went all in”!!!! In other words, Andrea possess key people skills that I always look first in any company along with the cost. Secondly, Brandon showed knowledge of the job needed to resolve my problem and also had people skills. What a winning business and I recommend highly!!!!!! I will surely contact them again for other projects!!!!!

I needed emergency service and they showed up quickly, sure enough the part was fixed that same day and overall very happy with the quality of work.

I have used these guys before and always have come thru with great service and a reasonable price. This time they replaced my toilet and cleaned out my clogged lines... If you have any plumbing needs...search no further....these are your guys

The customer service is Excellent. They had a plumber to me within an hour of my phone call to them. It was quite a complex leak and it took Seth some investigating to find the source but once he found it he fixed it quickly. I would highly recommend this company to all my family and friends and I will definitely use them again in the future.

I'm appaled by First Response.. They completely ruind my kitchen, ruind my dishwasher and took zero responsibility for it. There is nothing wrong with making mistakes but there is something terribly wrong when it clearly is your fault and you're still looking for ways to make money. My kitchen was completely flooded on a Saturday which was clearly a result of their negligence. I would have been fine with it had they taken responsibility and been protactive about it. instead I had to fight tooth and nail just not to be charged again. Put it this way... Customer Service is not needed when things go right. It's when things go wrong that you see a companies reslove in keeping their clients happy. You wont get. "sorry" or " let's see what we can do "... Call John about a job not done and he'll try to turn it on you and make it your fault.Call John with something wrong and you'll get a complete self righteous prick who clearly rather get a few more dollars out of you than keep you happy. Just ask the plumbers who work for him... don't take my word for it.
