Fine, no problems

I will say that this was an extremely positive business experience, despite the poor fortune that had me experience it! Dreyers were very responsive to our initial call, and came within the hour. They worked from nearly 8pm-130pm stripping out much of the wet matter (carpet underlay), extracting as much water as possible that remained, removing baseboard to improve drying effectiveness and to allow studs to dry. They set up a plethora of dryers, heaters and blowers to run constantly, then ensured that the chances of circuits tripping was minimized (particularly A/C, well pump, fridges, freezers). The personnel came every day to check on equipment, make adjustments and address any circuit tripping issues. They would send someone out right away if we had a problem. Communication was not an issue with Dreyers; they kept us up to date with all information, and were extremely responsive to questions. It became apparent after 2-3 days that water had breached through a central wall and run underneath the laminate flooring, causing it to buckle and warp. They handled this in stride and removed all the damaged laminate, opened up the sheetrock on the affected wall and dried this area out too. This was particularly important as this wall, although internal, was insulated. This caused the water to wick upwards. Dreyers personnel addressed this quickly and certainly avoided the possibility of rot in the wall. They had portable hygrometers to measure humidity, and were able to zero in on difficult to dry spots and / or problem areas. While we did have all kinds of equipment blowing and heating for a full week, I can say that the job was done and done well. Living in Florida, the fear is always mold, and my wife is super-sensitive to it. After the Dreyer folks left, and ever since, there has been no hint of mold. In brief, I'd have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this outfit. When life swings a right hook at you, its good to have someone solid in your corner who has a plan.

Prior to my appointment, the office staff (Emily) was very helpful and responsive. I purposely scheduled the first appointment of the day so that the service technician would not be behind schedule; however, the technician called after my scheduled appointment time to tell me that he was unsure of where my address was located and that he was running late. He arrived 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. He also seemed disgruntled about the accessiblity of my apartment from the parking lot. I pointed out several areas of concern with pet stains on my carpet, and no special treatment was given to those areas, nor did the stains come out. The tile looks great, as does the carpet where stains weren't present.

Did a good job. They were courteous and efficient.

Called at 8am to ask if they could come an hour later than planned that afternoon, which actually worked out well for me. John and Joe showed up on time. Very courteous. Wore shoe covers. Cleaned carpets and tile floor - did a great job and getting out general dinginess/stains. I really wish I'd used them for tile before - it was only 75 cents a square foot and totally worth it for our light-colored bathroom floor tiles and grout! Accepted credit card for payment.

They came and looked at my problem. I actually had mold in the bathroom. I have two bathrooms, the top one was leaking into the bottom, so it was a mold. I needed renovation. It was pretty thorough but it was a little high. This is the reason I really was not all that impressed, there were two of them who came. I got three quotes for this job. They measuring and had a lot of ideas but some of it was not really practical. In the long run, they were pleasant enough and they did a schematic but basically my job was partially mold amelioration and reconstruction of the two bathrooms and I think they took a while getting back to me on it. I guess I got a better quote in the meantime.

They did a great job.I will use them again.

Carpet took 3 days to dry even with a/c at full blast and extra fans brought in running constantly. Carpet appeared clean but dark blotches appeared. Technician returned two more times to address issue with more dark blotches appearing after visits. More drying time between each visit. After visit 2, I became desperate and started researching this problem on line. The company professes to be carpet experts so I was astounded at the lack of problem solving options presented: just do the same thing again. The same thing gave the same results. I had to wonder about the huge amount of water used and the possibility that equipment was old and not effective. They have much newer trucks around town. With company ready to arrive, I resorted to removing the dark blotches myself with a solution found on the Internet. My prior review of this a couple of years ago was an overall A. Note: another friend used this company and also had the dark blotch issue after the cleaning. A neighbor also had issues with their pricing methodology as is cost MORE for a smaller area to be done than if a larger square footage was done. Makes me wonder about their business model.

Our couch was looking dingy and grey, but after Dreyer's cleaned it, it looked as good as new! The service was prompt and professional. I would not hesitate to recommend them!

Showed up on time.Respected our home and our little children who were curious to see what is going on.The carpet was cleaned and it dried very quickly. Even though it dried fast, we were very pleased that they left us carpet spot removing cleaner as well as booties for all of us to wear.

It was a poor job and they said that they couldn't do a good job on this item, even though it took two months to get it back to me. The second rug was faster at 3 weeks time. Don't take a hooked wool rug to them because they can't clean it.

They are very reputable. It is owned by a man with a lot of integrity who is very dependable. They provide a very solid service.

The whole process went very smoothly. They came on time, and took less time than expected. The man who did the cleaning was very careful with his equipment not to bang up against any of the woodwork which I really appreciated. He also left some information and some cleaning fluid for cleaning up spots in the future. I would certainly recommend this company to other people who need this service.

Happy with cleaning of oriental. We had to reposition rug to get it to lay flat. Too much work (in my opinion) for the one worker sent out. Carpet cleaning was adequate but it took over 12 hours to dry. They advertised 4 hrs. Not happy about that. When the owner emailed to ask about the service, I asked was that normal to take so long to dry. No response!

Dreyer's staff answered all my concerns and questions on the kitchen remodel offering suggestions on what should be upgraded and/or changed to make a more useful kitchen. The staff was very flexible in working with my schedule during the remodel and were very helpful in solving issues due to that schedule. I am very happy with my kitchen/family room remodel and get many comments from family and friends on how beautiful and functional the kitchen/famly room are now due to the remodel. I love my cabinets, countertops, and new counter bar. I had a wonderful remodel experience with Dreyer;s and recommend them to family, friends, and neighbors.

They did a great job. I was satisfied with their work.

Dryers arrived at my home at the appointed time. They greeted me in a cheerful manner and explained the job and how it would be preformed. They were professionaly dressed in uniforms---clean and neat. The two men sent asked me specific details about the pending job. The mens went thru my home and moved necessary furniture, placed plastic sheets under all large furniture items not being moved to protect the wood/cloth feet/legs on furniture. They placed runner type mats in/out of my home to protect from tracking wet shoes while they were in and out perfroming this service. They proceed to spot spray heavy traffic areas and any stains and steam clean rooms and furniture requested. The two men spent 2 + hours doing my job, raked the carpet after cleaning it, to give a consistent look, replaced all furniture they moved, and throughly cleaned up their equipment used. They presented an invoice for services rendered and asked if the work was satisfactory(was excellent) and left.

The technician did a very thorough job, was very professional, and I was pleased. He left a fan to help with the drying which I really appreciated, and also 2 pairs of "booties" to put over our shoes in case we needed to walk on the carpet before it was totally dry, and also a bottle of spot remover.

They did great and they were terrific. They showed up on time and did a good job.

We have used them for the last two to three times. They are fantastic. We have used them many times in the past. They have a massive machine and do a fantastic job. They have been extremely friendly and helpful. I highly recommend them. The price they charge depends on what they do. They do carpet cleaning, upholstery, stain removal etc. This time we are planning to use them for more rooms. They are probably not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. I am perfectly pleased with what I paid for when I see what I got. The quality of their work is great. They show up when they are supposed to. They are right on time. They are very professional.

Two employees arrive on time and can move furniture and handle the job with ease. Some companies only send one person so moving furniture just is not really done-found socks under the bed after the last company said they moved furniture. The cleaning process includes "raking" the carpet at the end, something that others do not bother with. For some reason, I do not enjoy dealing with their. After my house flooded, I asked the office person several times to give Dr. Dryer a message to call me; I never heard back from him which was disappointing. The quality of work is excellent. They simply priced themselves out of my budget range so I had to find a cheaper (and less professional) company for the last couple of years.

The first time the chairs were not cleaned perfectly but on raising this with the company; the company owner Mr. Dreyer himself turned up to fix the problem. I was impressed with this level of concern for a customer which is quite rare. To err is human, but to stand by your service guarantee & fix this is what you can expect from fewer companies. So I certainly recommend Dreyer's to people looking for cleaning services in Gainesville, Florida as this company really cares for their customer experience.

I bought a new house in March of 2009. My mother, who has lung and allergy issues was going to come live with me. The previous owners of the house had a cat and my mother is severely allergic to cats. Dreyers was there at 1 pm the day of my closing to start the work. They were punctual and dressed nicely. It took them a couple of days to complete all the work, but when my mom moved in a couple of weeks later she had no allergic reaction. They are kind of pricey if you just want your carpets cleaned, but they do a great job.

Excellen jobt. This is the second time I have used the services of Dryers. Highly recommend them.
