My Takagi tankless water heater stopped working during a bitterly cold weekend.  Shamrock plumbing was listed as an installer and service provider on Takagi's website.  I called Bill Murray of Shamrock Plumbing on Monday morning and left a message requesting for a call me back.. I received a call back in less than an hour and Bill offered to come as soon as possible.  I had damaged a high temperature gasket while trying to diagnose the problem on my own on the weekend.  Bill gave me the contact infomation for a local Takagi parts distributor and suggested that I get the part shipped for next day delivery.

After the parts order had been placed, Bill offered to come to my house at noon the next day.  

Bill showed up at my house at 11:45 am and went to work right away.  It took him about 10 minutes to diagnose the initial problem -  the electrodes of the flame detector were dirty.  He cleaned and re-installed the detector. When the water heater did not turn on, he did some additional diagnosis and also made a call to Takagi technical services.  After going through the various tests, Bill concluded that the heater needed a new flame detector.  He replaced the flame detector from the spare parts he carried in his truck. Within about 70 minutes, he had my water heater working.

I am very satified with Bill's work.  He was prompt, punctual and professional in his dealings.  I have no doubt that if I had plumbing needs in the future, he would be the first one I would call. 

They told us that they could come the next day. They were professional and neat.  We found their prices were very fair, and they were able to provide the special-sized water heater we needed immediately, when other companies said they would need to special order it, and it would take up to a week.
