Mike was very personable and professional, gave us an estimate very quickly and got the work done as soon as possible. It took about 4 days from start to finish. We did have him come back and touch a up a few things. Highly recommended.

Working with the owner and his crew was an incredibly great experience. It is important to say that not only is the owner a great professional and courteous, his crew as well are just great guys, very friendly, and listen to concerns openly. They arrived as scheduled every morning, and when they left at the end of the day, they left their workspace as neat and clean as possible. The finished floor is beautiful. Especially how they matched the existing floor - that you cannot tell where the existing floor starts, and the newly installed floor begins. I highly recommend their service!

Henning's Hardwood Floors did a fantastic job. They also did the job quickly with daily communication. They showed up on time, did what they said they would do, offered expert advice, and finished the job on time. Every email was answered that day and every phone call/text was answered promptly. We needed the job done sooner rather than later and they fit us into their busy schedule. We are having them come to our existing house to do some refinishing to get our house ready for market. I would rate them excellent. Competitively priced, they were very good about not only getting the job done in a professional manner, but when I called to get something touched up there was no problem. They are very customer oriented and focused on getting the job done.

From the 1st call for an estimate through the completion of the floors, not one commitment was missed. So nice to get quality work. Mike and his team were very professional and here when they said they would be. It was a 3 day process to do 1 room where other estimates were over 1 week from start to finish. Our floors look brand new and beautiful! The first day they sanded the floors down (two times), made a few repairs then applied 2 coats of stain. We changed the color of the floors completely (from the original colors when the house was built). The floor was pretty beat up as you can imagine from wear and tear, and now they look like we just had a new floor installed. Through each step, Mike ensured we were happy with the color we picked out before he started to poly coat them. Then we decided the type of finish and ensured we liked that before he continued with the other 2 coats. At all times he kept us in the loop of what was going on what we could expect when and at what points we could and could not change our minds. After the last coat, Mike even offered suggestions on how to keep the floor clean and looking new. Again, I cannot say enough about the level of service and quality work we received. We have already booked him to return to refinish our dining room, hall and office floors in early 2014!

When we bought our 1920s house, the floors of the large living/dinning room were covered with a hideous carpet. Once we removed the carpet, we found out the original hardwood floors had been subjected to all sort of damages--burns, paint stains, scratches, in addition to the gooey surface left behind by the old carpet, and an exposed ugly division between the two rooms. We contacted Mike given all the good reviews in this site, and were VERY pleased with his work. He helped us to come up with a solution to conceal the division: a beautiful inlay that not only hides the ugly wooden plank we had, but also works now as an attractive design feature in the room. In just four days, he left our floors looking better than new! He was always punctual and professional. The cost was a bit more than what we originally planned to expend on the floors, but it was worth every penny. In the next year or so, we will go to him again, to refinish the floors in other areas of our house.

Arrived on time for all estimates and work. House was left extremely clean even with the sanding process. Did minor extra work installing thresholds that was not in the original SOW. The owner Mike was very personable and gave detailed descriptions of what was performed. Responded quickly to all phone calls, emails, and text messages. Final product looked as you can expect for high traffic 100 year old pine flooring.

We have not had them do the work but they are the provider w will use. Their price was good, and he explained the process well. He was not the cheapest, but he was not the most expensive. He was very good at explaining what we could do with our hardwood floors. He was very knowledgeable and we felt good about him. We had a leak under the refrigerator with our hardwood floors and he explained how we could fix it without tearing out all our floors. Other estimates told us we would have to tear everything out. We had the estimate within the next day. He did have to cancel us twice but he was very apologetic for the inconvenience.
