Excellent installation job without supervision, although I did have the Realtor stop by to let the crew into the house. They did the rest. I was there the next day - the carpet looks great! Thank you, Nick!

I knew what to expect from this company as my husband and I bought the rugs from them and had the kitchen and bath tile installed by them. Nick the owner was such a pleasure to deal with back then that I would not use anyone else for these rugs. The rug in the first floor area was soaked from the hot water heater coming apart and leaking everywhere. When I booked the routine cleaning that had not yet happened so when his technicians got here they called to advise him. The bill originally was to be $210 but after the fiasco with the water heater, Nick's men had to take more time and also put a mold inhibitor down to prevent mold and mildew. So that inflated the bill but the job they did was great and the rug in question is white and they made it look like new. The rugs ibn the living room and dining room on the second floor look like new as well and they did a great job on the high traffic areas. I had window installers, a plumber and a delivery and after all these people went up and down all three flights of stairs with their shoes on, Delaware Rug made the rugs look clean and new. Love these guys.

Everything went well. Service was delivered as promised. Workers were very professional and they did an excellent job. The flooring is beautiful and looks just as good today as the day it was installed. I would definitely do business with them again.

I feel we made an excellent choice in using Delaware Rug Company for our carpet installation project. I originally shopped around, did some comparison shopping and then went with Delaware Rug because Nick has worked in the business for years and it was obvious he was very knowledgeable on every aspect of the carpeting market. (This was not always the case with other sales people I encountered from other businesses).There also was a “no pressure” approach to him – came over to our house to measure, took the time to address my concerns – just genuinely interested in making sure I was completely happy with my selection. His installer, Ritchie, is the gold standard – did an extraordinary job. Nick stopped in during installation just to be sure all was going as planned – took a personal interest in the job. It was a large project –. 4 rooms, 2 hallways, 2 stairways – price was comparable to other quality carpet stores. I would highly recommend Delaware Rug Company.

I like the fact that Delaware Rug is a small family owned business rather than a large company. The owner comes out to take measurements. Other than that, you get what you expect.

Delaware Rug We used them within the last six weeks or so in early March. My wife went and visited them. They were about ten miles away from us in Newark here. The owner of the business made the presentation and then he came out and looked at our bit. The price was in range with what we expected to do. The quality was good. He put it in when he said he was. The guy did it all, it was a fairly large mater bedroom. He put it all in in one day just like he said he would be able to do it. It was pretty good. We have no complaints. The amount that we had done cost $2800.

This is a rental unit that had water damage to about 150 square feet of very old Red Oak hardwood floors. Delaware Rug was contracted to replace the damaged floor in the living room, sand both the living room and dining room hardwood floors and refinish with satin polyurethane. The work was scheduled to start on a Monday - their technician called on Friday to ask if it would be OK to start on the weekend which was great by us. Work went very smoothly - they did an excellent job of matching up the new, replacement wood flooring with the old Oak floor boards. We were told the job would be completed in three days - one day for installation of new flooring and sanding and two days to put down two coats of polyurethane. The job was completed on time and came out fantastic. The old hardwood floors had many scratches and the stain had yellowed with age. Most of the scratches are now gone and the natural, Oak color looks great. Overall a job well done!

All went well. The owner of company came to our house and spent alot of time explaining our options and also gave suggestions on other improvements that we coiuld make. He was very helpful and personable. He has had this business for a long time . I liked the idea that he has a family business. We needed the job done right away and they ordered carpet immediately. We have been very happy w results and would would use them again.

I have an area rug in my office that I love. We had gotten it on a trip to Ecuador in 2000 and I've used it since. It needed to be cleaned and, based on the reviews we found in Angie's list, we decided to contact Delaware Rug Company. We couldn't have been more pleased. Every contact we had with Kim and with the company was perfect. It's exactly what you hope for when you deal with a company. They not only cleaned the rug but also repaired it - it was unraveling - and put in a binding so that it looks brand new. My husband picked it up today and I have it in my office again. It looks so much better and I know that, because of what they did, I'll be able to use it for many more years. I felt that their price was very reasonable for what they did and will definitely use them again in the future. I would give Delaware Rug the highest recommendation. They obviously have a wonderful, well deserved reputation in this community and in the surrounding area.

I moved from southern MD to Elkton, MD on July 26, 2012 and the company picked up 9 orientals for cleaning and repair on July 27 - promptly and as scheduled. They were returned with all tasks performed superbly well on Aug. 17, 2012. I cannot say enough about this company. They are excellent in their understanding of how to handle oriental carpets; the repairs were done in an expert fashion. When they came to place them, the men were courteous and accommodating. Had to replace my carpet and needed a very competitive rate for carpet & instilation. Met with the owner for an in home estimate and had a great feeling about his company. After I receive a few more estimates from some wharehouse and other small companies, I chose Delaware Rug. Made instal arrangements over the phone and that was it. They were very accommodating with the arrangements and the installer arrived and completed the job within the time agreed upon. I would definitely use them again. Thanks and job well done!

Very well. The company was very accomodating, ordering the exact color match of serging tape to coordinate with the rug remnants. They did a professional serging job in the specified time frame. The cost was less than the three other companies I contacted for estimates. The reception desk staff was friendly and helpful.

I needed a door trimmed because it wasn't fitting with the new carpeting. They were very good with their care and I was pleased with their job here.

Nick Michael is outstanding. He has been in the business for 45 years and he does a great job. This is the second time we used Delaware Rug Company for carpet installation and we have been satisfied both times. In both cases, Nick made a suggestion on the color of the carpeting to buy and it turned out to be a good choice. Nick takes his time and also has a very outgoing personality which makes him easy to work with.

They came exactly on time, and they were here for one hour. My rug looked like it was brand new when they were finished. These guys did a fabulous job and were pleasant and polite.

They were very good. They were on time. They were very professional and looked nice. They were courteous and nice guys to have in the home. We had no concerns. They got all of the rugs clean.
