They were able to go out the same day to fix the AC, so that was great. They were very responsive and the tech was very nice. I ended up purchasing a service plan and that was very reasonable as well.

I had two new York systems installed last year by another company that did a great job but their follow up service was awful so I had to search out for a new company to handle the ongoing maintenance. I discovered Service Today on Angies List and I have had a great experience so far. As a prospective new customer they were very patient on the phone answering all my questions. I scheduled a service call and then within 24 hours I had to reschedule it 3 times. Each time I called the phone was answered promptly and the 3 different people I spoke with were equally pleasant and accomodating. Just to have a company these days answer the phone promptly and not be annoyed that you have to make changes was promising. The Techs arrived on time, were very pleasant, did thier work quickly without rushing (and they could have since it was Friday at 4:00 and they had an hour plus drive back home) and reviewed thier work with me. While I hope I don't have to have them do any major work I'm feeling confident that if that time comes they'll make the event a lot less painful. Also now that I know they do plumbing and electric I feel like I hit the trifecta of service companies

I had a heat pump installed. They serviced the A/C. He was polite. They were on time and the customer service was great.

Problem was difficult to figure out but they did solve the problem.

The repair tech came on time and so far as I can tell, did all the routine maintenance required on the system. We have a contract with the company and they have honored the terms of the contract. I also called them out after one of the 2013-2014 winter snow storms when an outside unit shook the house when running. The tech came promptly and provided a solution to the problem with minimal adjustment to the use of our unit. It took him about five minutes to diagnose the problem and instruct me on what to do differently until the snow melted. There was a full service charge for the call, which is over $100.

I am very satisfied with the service I received. I purchased a service contract with them. They will come back in the fall to check out the heating system. I was told that they have 24/7 service. This has given me peace of mind that if something should go wrong they will be here right away.

Everyone at Service today, from sales to service, were friendly, courteous, punctual and professional. They were the only company, out of the four who came to my home and wrote me an estimate, who followed up with a phone call. So far I love my new system, although it's early yet and I haven't had to use it for more than a couple of days. I feel confident that any concerns or questions I may have in the future will be handled promptly. This is an employee owned business and I believe it really makes a difference when compared to other companies. I strongly recommend this company for any HVAC needs.

An estimate - called back with a better offer - rep agreed to return after work was completed to be sure work done correctly. Installers were courteous, professional and did work as agreed.

We were having problems with our heatpump holding the temperature in the extreme colds weather we are experiencing. Technician found that unit under house was under water and had sustained damage due to the sump pump not operating properly. Parts were ordered and replaced in a timely and efficient manner. We plan to use this company for regular service of our units in the future.

Window time given in 4hr increments-called before headed my way. Very polite, professional. Showed company ID. When jobs completed no mess left.

Were very helpful and professional. Didn't recommend that I take the most expensive route. Presented all options and then developed a plan for us to go on. I have a system I am trying to get at least a year out of and he was honest and helpful.

Upon reluctantly heeding this advise, it was determined that their price was significantly higher than other companies, even though we had been a customer for 10 yrs.

I have an annual service contract agreement with Service Today. There was a billing issue with the last call but that was satisfactorily resolved.

Replaced furnace, a/c and added a heat pump. Called in on Friday morning for an appointment to discuss estimate; got one for that afternoon. Parts/techs were here Monday morning. Estimated 1 1/2 days to complete. Finished up slightly earlier. Quality work. Will continue to use them for HVAC work! Highly recommended.

Called for service to get 2nd opinion on furnace after another company told me the furnace was old and needed to be replaced. They checked the furnace, and said the same. I then met with a rep who gave me a quote for a new system. I called a 3rd company, and they had the furnace up and working in less than 10 minutes. Giving Service Today a C overall for other aspects of their service. Not sure if I would call them again.

We have used them for several years and they do good work.

Service Today does good work, however I believe in having a yearly agreement that typically includes a Spring and Fall check up for my heat pump. With HVAC companies I have used over the last 25 years it is standard to receive priority scheduling throughout the year and a small discount on labor for any service calls needed outside the two that are included in the one year agreement. I have found that each year (in the last four) Service Today has raised the fee for the year contract and they seem to be out of line with other HVAC companies in the Maryland Delaware areas. So because of this, I am going with another company that is more in line with industry standard for a yearly contract fee.

Refrigerant didn't last a week. Call them out again. Second repair man tells me it won't hold refrigerant. Charges me again. They automatically include a $39 charge for a fuel surcharge. Even when they were in the neighborhood.

They bought another business that I had done work with for many years. I was quite pleased with them, because they finished sooner than normal. They were diligent, they had to order a part for me, and I paid for overnight shipping, and when it didn't come the next day, and they had to install it for me, they refunded me my money. I was quite pleased with the experience. I was especially happy to see that the guy who came out had been to the house before. I was happy to see that they had kept the folks that were working there previously.

Service Today's response for information on this type of system was prompt and a representative scheduled an appointment right away. The rep was very professional and knowledgeable. I had two other companies come in to give me bids and they had suggestions that made more sense, the Service Today rep embraced these with no problem, even though they were not his own ideas. Do to an over run on a previous job, my install was delayed one day, but proceeded quickly and was done expertly. The installers were experienced and had complete command of what they needed to do. I especially appreciated the fact that they were careful not to let my cats get out once I told them that they were indoor only cats. I am more than satisfied with all the work done.

The are good compared to other companies i have used for heat pump service.

Yesterday morning when we got up we noticed that the HVAC unit outside the house was running but very little air conditioning was happening. I decided to call a repair service. My boss had a similar problem a few weeks ago so I called him to ask who he used. He said "Service Today." I never heard of this company but took his recommendation. I called to make an appointment and was told "someone would be out in the afternoon." Much to our pleasant surprise, when we returned from Rehoboth the service truck was waiting for us in our driveway, less than an hour after I called. This company is appropriately names "Service Today." I went around to the side of the house where my HVAC air conditioning unit is located and found the serviceman, "Frank", had already repaired the unit. He said it was a bad capacitor. He replaced the capacitor. The total charge was: Labor 10:08 am to 10:53 am@ $150 per hour, one hour minimum 3/4 hours = $150.00 Dispatch & Fuel Fee= 28.82 For a total charge of $178.82 The serviceman accepted my Discover card as payment. He was professional, friendly and efficient. I will definitely use this company again. In fact, I have arranged to have a service agreement with them for any future problems in my house.
