?????⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I called in LATE on a FRIDAY afternoon. APRIL enthusiastically answered, FIRST ring, & I explained the awful noise from my sump pump. She got me on the next day's schedule. Saturday! I gave her the specs of the unit & she calmly took notes for the technician. Jimmy texted on his way, arrived timely & had all the necessary parts stocked in the truck! He completed the changeout in record time & accepted credit card payment. The entire process couldn't have went any smoother! The new Zoeller unit runs so quiet, I don't hear it at all in the house. After seeing the shooting plume of water, I informed Craig the SM & his followup exceeded my expectations. Great team to work with; excellent service, fair price! Ten Stars!

We had our water pipes (original to our 1953 home) replaced from the city meter to the house and throughout the house. Jack and his team did an excellent job at a fair price. This was a full two-day project and attention was paid to every detail. We appreciate all of the effort that was put into this tough job and would highly recommend Service Today. This is not the first time we have used this company, and it will definitely not be our last.

Heating and air installed with what we thought was no problem. Later discovered where they left the gas line crimped. The girl my husband talked to was very rude and only worried about what was on our contract and investigating the situation. She was not worried about our safety at all. It looks like it could start leaking at any time. Finally called back 4 or 5 days later offering their salesman to come and give a quote to replace. They will never work on anything of ours again!

Service Today quoted us a price of $518 (labor) to install a new dehumidifier (parts warranty). When we inquired as to why the cost was so high, we were informed that it would be a two hour or longer job. As Service Today had already diagnosed the problem (at a cost of $219) with the dehumidifier (failed compressor) and would be able to obtain the replacement (a new “plug and play” total unit) under the manufacturer’s parts warranty. When the technician arrived with the replacement unit at 8:30 AM on August 16, I asked him how long the job would take. He responded to the effect “not long, it’s an easy remove and install.” Sure enough, 45 minutes later the technician and his assistant were loading up their van preparing to leave. The assistant asked me for payment but was not able to explain the $518 charge for 45 minutes of work. It was at this point that my wife noticed that the dehumidifier was not properly connected to the remote (no readout, no ability to set humidity level). The technician was notified and returned to investigate. After 10 minutes or so, I asked him if the remote was working as he was entering his van. I didn’t get an answer and shortly thereafter observed him in the van on his phone and reviewing what appeared to be a manual and on his cell phone-- apparently trying to get help on how to fix the remote connection. Thirty-five minutes later, he informed us that the remote was connected and asked for a payment of $518. The technician became very indignant with us when I again asked for an explanation of the bill--- he came very close to demanding that we pay and when I asked to be sent an itemized bill, he stormed out of our house. After the technician left the job, we discovered that the remote was not working properly. Service Today continues to refuse to share any details about what their customer service manager referred to as a "proprietary" billing system. While they are scheduled to return to try and fix what they could not the first time out, we are highly reluctant to recommend Service Today. In fact, we do recommend you retain another outfit with a better track record for competency and transparency.

Ryan & Wade were very prompt arriving at 7:15 am and finished the furnace and Honeywell F 50 air cleaner install by 2 pm. There were no significant issues to speak of. They took precautions to keep our home clean by wearing booties over their shoes and laying tarps from the front door to the basement. They were thorough cleaning up after themselves and left our home in the same condition it was when they arrived. They will install the Mitsubishi system when framing begins to finish our basement.

I was promised an 8:00 AM appointment. No one showed up until 9:20 AM. I called at about 8:20 AM to find out when the technician was coming. The person answering the phone said he was on his way. I called back at about 9:15 and asked to speak to the person in charge. This person said that the earliest appointment they schedule is 8:30 and that the technician could come anywhere between 8:30 and 9:30 and she was somewhat rude and dismissive. This is not the first time that this has happened but it will be the last time because I won't be using them after my current contract expires. Two years ago, I had a similar situation. I had an afternoon appointment (Maybe 1 or 2 PM) After many calls a technician showed up after 5 PM. After speaking to various people in charge, I was told that if I wanted them to be there on time, I should make a 8 AM appointment. This year I did and I still had problems . I've been a loyal Service Today customer for over 10 years but in the last few years I have noticed that they haven't been as responsive as they were initially. I believe that they've grown too quickly and are having issues with the growth.

They came out on a holiday weekend in just a few hours. Diagnosed the problem. Sent a salesman the next day to discuss my needs with regard to a new AC. Installed it a week or so later.

The professionalism of the techs was excellent. The professionalism of the salesman, office and executive staff left much to be desired. When I asked for a statement breaking down the costs of each item - furnace, pumps, materials and labor, I either got lip service or was stonewalled. That makes me wonder if I was overcharged. As a former auditor, red flags are flying all over the place.

The installed price is presented at the time of your in home consultation. The home owner agrees to the price and total package and it is installed, as it was in your case, or they do not agree and the system is not installed. Breaking down the price does not change the price or the value you received. As the largest Trane dealer in the Mid Atlantic area we install over 2500 new systems per year and have never had anyone ask how much each individual item is after they have agreed to the full price and it has been successfully installed just as we said it would happen. We would love to continue business with you, however, we will not provide a breakdown of our installation package you had us install. We have a contract with them. They have to come twice a year for our warranty to be in effect. I pay once a year $198 and that gives me two visits. One in the winter and one in the summer. It is $198 once a year, but then they come twice a year. They were so good.

They come out spring to check my AC and fall to check my Heating. You need to call them to set up the appointment. They will call you when they are about a 1/2 hour from your appointment time to let you know they are on their way.
