I called Pelsa and we scheduled an appointment so that I could get an elevation certificate for getting flood insurance (I was refinancing). We scheduled a time to inspect my basement. That part happened. I pre-paid, which was a mistake on my part. The guy asked for the check to be written in his own name. I didn't think about what that meant, so I did it. He promised that he'd come back and take measurements outside the house and then deliver the certificate. After that, nothing. After about 3 weeks of waiting, I started calling the office. All I ever received was "Can I have your number? I'll take a message". After a week of that, I let my lawyer for my refinance know about the delay and the office made a call. I got a call back from Pelsa, saying they'd do the work in 2 days, and deliver the certificate on the 3rd. That didn't happen. I called another surveyor recommended by the law office. I am now researching small claims court. I've never taken anyone to court before, so this time will be the first.
Description of Work: Pelsa took my money and didn't provide a service.
