As always, we call and discuss what we need and they come out and do the job perfectly. They are always there when they say they will be, always do a beautiful job and are pleasant to deal with. Whether the job is big or small, our home is always left looking clean and manicured. We would recommed them to everyone.

Not well. The owner (Joy) came to look at our property and provide some ideas. She was not helpful. She was condescending. No sample materials were left behind for us to peruse in order to make the best decisions. When she called back to clarify and get more information from us she was, again, condescending......and not willing to admit that my inquiries were reasonable. We are disappointed....as almost every other professional we have hired to assist us in getting our new home settled has been friendly, helpful, and accommodating.

Met with Joy and walked the property to discuss placement and plant choices. She was very honest about what would work in our area and with the amount of water involved. That meant most of my original ideas were out. She spent a good amount of time coming up with alternates that worked out perfectly. The plan and plantings were just what I envisioned and the plant quality was superior. Jobe managed the project. The workers were courteous and worked very hard. There was a good amount of digging to be done on ground that was rather hard. I am not from the area, but found the prices were reasonable compared to what we experienced at our primary home near a large city.

Joy met with us and we walked around our yard reviewing current plantings and what we would like to do. She had her fence contractor come out and talk with us as well. Joy and I spoke about plant options and she has a lot of knowledge and good suggestions. We are going to receive estimates soon.

We went with Jobes even though they were slightly more expensive than another estimate we received since we preferred to go with a reputable company. They were kind enough to work on a Saturday to accommodate our schedule even though they typically don't work on Saturdays. The owner/lead (Joy) arrived on time with the workers and walked through what had to be done. Then she left. The workers were very cordial and hard working and followed-through on everything. I would definitely use them again.

Jobe's Landscape are true professionals. From the first time we met with Joy to the finished product, we were extremely impressed. Their customer service is first rate and we get many compliments on our gardens.

Jobes did an excellent job. Before work began, we walked the property with the owner, Joy Tomer, who evaluated the job and made suggestions on improvements. We have never used a landscaper before because we were always concerned about the use of pesticides. We are strong believers in not using pesticides, and especially because this property is near the ocean. Part of the reason we used Jobes is because they also are not in favor of using pesticides to control weeds and vines. Because our property was so overgrown, it took Jobes 4 workers and 2.5 days of non-stop work to get our property cleaned up. We were so impressed with results. We cannot emphasize how impressed we were with the work ethic of Jobes' employees. Not only were the employees polite and accommodating, they were some of the hardest working individuals we have ever encountered. Our property now looks fantastic. We continue to use Jobes on a monthly basis to maintain our property.

Started with being 45 mins late for the appt, proceeded to get out their car only to tell me that I located to far from their office to lawn service. I live in Millsboro 1/2 mile from the intersection of 24 and 5. Their office is 5.65 miles from house to their office door. However they would be more than happy to do my landscaping needs. I said no thank you.

Everything went perfectly. We are very pleased.

They were very attentive to my needs of keeping costs down. Re-used plants when possible. Great job. Very professional. I plan to use them again. update on 10/4/13 One of the trees that was planted had died shortly after the work was done, they came out right away and put a new tree in. They stand by their work

The person who came to our house was punctual and gave detailed description of what our yard would look like. They really seem to understand what we wanted. However, pricing was a little high.

They were on-time as promised. I do have to wait until spring to truly evaluate the finished product. Joy was good to work with.

I am the type who likes a little "heads-up" when people are going to be working on my property so I can make sure the dog is sufficiently restrained and in case there are any questions about the project, I am on hand to answer them. Well, after waiting six weeks for work to begin two workers finally showed up at my house and I wasn't home. No problem, my wife is there and will be able to address any questions that may arise. The guys started by marking the lines where the walls were to be placed using spray paint/chalk. When they finished marking the lines the can of paint was set on the back bumper of there truck (Keep this in mind as it becomes relevant later). The one worker then starts up his chainsaw and starts cutting the sod to lay drainage pipes. What!? Joy said no digging would be required so she didn't "one-call" the job to mark the underground utilities. Big mistake! The guy cuts right through the FIOS fibre optic cable and now my neighbor is without phone, internet and TV. While the guy is standing there dumbfounded, he knocks the spray paint can off the back bumper of his truck and - KABOOM! It hits the ground and explodes all over our grass, driveway, and my wife's van. At this point my wife runs out of the house and grabs the hose desperately trying to wash the paint off her van. Once things settled down and construction resumed the guys proceed to build the wall and lay it right over the junction box for the FIOS connection they had just unearthed. My wife instructed them to please go around it but they would not listen. They seemed more interested in finishing the job quickly than finishing the job correctly. We contacted Joy and expressed our concerns. She said the wall would be rebuilt and acted like she was doing me a "favor", even sending me an invoice with a late charge assessed. The workers have rebuilt the wall, again showing up on my doorstep without notice. I was truly disappointed with my experience after having read such great reviews about Jobe's. I will be looking elsewhere for any future landscaping needs and I suggest you do the same.

We discussed with Jobes what type of gardens we wanted and they came up with a detailed picture of what our gardens and pond would look like. They did an outstanding job. We get nothing but compliments.

See above. I was pleasantly surprised when I was told the actual cost came in well below the estimate. Joy is responsive, wants to do the right thing, and has integrity. All contractors should be this good.
