It was terrible. They were supposed to credit me $319 for coming out and checking. The total was supposed to be $1500. After they installed the coil, I heard some vibrations so I called the owner and he laughed. He sent his crew back out and they put duck tape on the unit. 2 days later the unit went out. It is not working at all. I called repeatedly and they hung up on me everytime I called. I tried to stop payment and now we are in dispute. I have had to call another HVAC company to get it fixed.

Initially there was an issue with getting the old faucet off. They had to cut it off which left a limited amount of copper pipe to deal with. They were able to complete the job with pipe left

Great! A couple of notes are needed: Jimmy Gusky was the vendor selected by our home warranty company. Price is marked as N/A because we paid a deductible rather than whatever Gusky's rate would have been. Once Gusky was assigned to our claim, I checked users' reviews to decide whether to use him or find another vendor. Good revues here so I moved forward. Overall, this was a very good experience. Responsiveness would actually be an A- only because I had to call him to set-up the appointment rather than him calling me, as is the norm when filing a claim through our home warranty company. Vendors have 48hrs to respond to the claim and it was about mid-afternoon on the second day, so I pro-actively made the call. No big deal at all. Jimmy answered the phone and was very professional and friendly. Initially, he was going to send a tech the next morning but saw that he could get someone here the same day. He planned for 5pm but no one showed. Again, not a big deal because he squeezed me in at the end of the day as he already had a guy in my area. Finally, around 5:20-5:30, the tech called because the address was incorrect on his work order. I got him squared away and he arrived a few minutes later. Punctuality A-? Nah, I was fully aware of my situation: guy already in the area, end of the day add-on job. He got to work quickly, troubleshot a few things, and then found the problem. In and out in about thirty minutes. Will definitely request him in the future.

I was able to get appointment right away and 2 technicians came 45 minutes after scheduled time. They were very efficient and immediately found the problem it was just a plastic disc needed replacement. While there I asked them to replace toilet flappers which they provided. The total time they were at the home was 30 min. When they presented the bill it was $329. The Angie's list advertised $49 for service call which was paid up front and $100 off of 200$ of work. Nothing was itimized and the techs could not break it down for us. My husband called Jimmy to question what added up to $378 (bill plus 49$ paid upfront) he was told the 49$ was the amount Angie's list got so it was 329 and took the $ 100 off so it was 229$. After discussion our bill was reduced to 229 making the remaining owed 129 which is within reason for work performed. For me this is why I am very hesitant to buy these "great" deals on line, because it is most likely not a great deal.

They did plumbing services. It was basically the toilet tune-up that they were supposed to do. They fixed it on Friday but on Sunday, it did not work again. Took one more week to get out here and they still have to come back to replace the toilet. At the end of it all, that didn't happen.

Before the job: - very responsive - helpful - took time to understand the needs of the job - respectful of my time - competitive rates Scheduling the work: - flexible, I was able to plan in advance. I was given a full day window that would later be narrowed down - CON: I had to request several time up to the day before when the wind of service would be During the job - friendly and professional - CON:. The job and the details were not communicated to the right resources. There were not one, not two, bit three trips required to complete the work in the quote that should have been a single trip. The team wasn't aware of what the full body of work was. They didn't have the materials. They didn't have the right trades. This lead to the inconvenience of three separate trips to have to schedule, coordinate, and to take time off if work CON: while there were attempts made to keep the work area clean, there was debris and contamination tracked well outside the work area. There were also instances of tools left behind and having to borrow my tools since they didn't have their own. Billing - CON: the willing wasn't a pleasant experience. Per the contract, half as a down payment and the other half after the job was completed. I elected to pay via credit card. The final payment was charged without my approval. The final amount was charged to the wrong amount. The final payment was charged multiple times. It looks weeks to resolve this issue. Bottom line: wile everyone was friendly and professional, I will not use them again in the future and would not recommend to friends.

They did not show up nor call on the original date scheduled date of May 4, 2016. When work was finally done I had to provide a water hose for them to use to complete their work and I have not been able to locate my water hose since then. I looked every where and had to purchase a new one to replace my missing water hose.

It went very well. The work was done quickly. The two guys were friendly and cleaned-up after they were finished. We were very happy with their work.

Job was quickly, cleanly, and professionally done. This was on a Saturday during a heatwave: Gusky was able to send someone the same day, but (understandably) could not specify a time in advance. The price was reasonable in the circumstances.

I am a brand new customer to both Angie's List and Jimmy Gusky. I decided to purchase a coupon Angie's List offered on August 10 to try both of the companies out. Unfortunately, I was sorely disappointed. Although I listed 3 times for Jimmy Gusky's to call me to set up the appointment for the coupon, I never to this date received a call. I decided to call the company assuming my information had slipped through the cracks. I called multiple times and left multiple messages- still unanswered. Then I went to the Jimmy Dusky site to "live chat" hoping to get some service. Two different "chatters" took my information and STILL no response as of today August 21st. I am appalled with this company and unfortunately I think my relationship with Angie's List is complete as well after this small test of quality.

Good question. They fixed a hole in one pipe but the leak that I called about was not fixed. When i brought this to their attention it seemed a burden to fix it. 'Well, its not leaking much. I guess i can look into it.' Thats a direct quote. Tomhis credit he did try to take apart the shower assembly in otder to find the origin of the leak. However he couldn't get some fixture off. He said that he needed to order parts. And I never heard from them again.

Quick and easy - a nice clean job and hasn't given any problem since. I will use Jimmy Gusky again.

They were willing to take their shoes off when I requested it. Evaluated the problem quickly. Gave pertinent advice. Washers were replaced in both the hot and cold faucets. Problem was fixed within an hour.

He didn't show up. When he did finally show up, he said I needed a new toilet. My tenant put chemical cleaner in the toilet and scrubbed it and it started to work again. Service provider only wanted to make money by replacing my toilet instead of cleaning the build up.

They were not very responsive. Waiting on a refund for $229 that was a mistaken duplicate charge.

Cleaned small fans in the system and checked heating system. Only one person, he came to my house on time.

It was okay. It wasn't great, honestly. I had to call Angie's List to get him to call me. When they came, they did their thing and they left. Two weeks later, I had to call the original installer of the air conditioning because the circuit shorted out. So whatever they did, it either didn't include looking at the circuit board or who knows.

My experience with them went fine. I would use them again.

It went very well just hard to understand representative at times. Very polite, prompt, and even provided treats for my dog.

They answered immediately after I purchased the Angie's Deal. Set up a time to visit & showed up when he said. He looked at the toilet and used a tool to chip away some calcium/lime build up. I assumed they'd up sell on arrival. Nothing of the sort occurred. He chipped away the buildup and it immediately improved the drain flow. He did say he had never seen the toilet fill valve set up in the tank. I purchased it from Lowe's and figured it was standard nowadays. Overall great service & very timely. Was super appreciative of the no upsell.

Quite well. Workers were characters and a lot of fun to have around. Service was great.

First of all the plumber was about 2 hrs late(original window was 11-1). No one called., I had to chase him down. When plumber arrived he told me what I already knew(there was a small leak under the sink). Said he would have to return next day with parts. I later found out that he had the parts on his truck. He said that we would return next day but had to call office for scheduling. I scheduled for the next day. Again I had to chase down the plumber. Finally showed up and replaced metal plumbing with PVC. Job took less than one hour. I paid the bill which was $295 less $100 or $195. About an hour later I noticed a small leak under the sink. I immediately called the plumber who said that it would be fixed Monday morning by 10.30 am. Again I had to chase down the plumber.. Showed up about an hour late. He forgot to tighten one of the fittings! He was out in less than 15 minutes. The deal was advertised as $49 less $100 for actual work done. Why did the plumber have to come back the next day when he admitted that the PVC parts used were standard and he carried them on his truck! The plumber overcharged to cover the bill. Finally who gets the $49 that was admitted to be for the service call! I will not use Angie's list in the future and will not give any recommendatinmsn to others .

It worked out fine. I was pleased. I did not pay anything additional. The price was fine. I had scheduled my appointment date and they had forgotten, they didn't call to confirm that they had to cancel, so I had to call. They should keep in contact with their customers and that will be very helpful, as opposed to customers having to call them.
