Description of Work: I bought an Angies List Special Deal for 3 toilets to be checked at $69 each. Two of the toilets are older as my home was built in the 20's. I was told that they had no fixtures in stock and advised to replace the toilets with newer models. The third toilet was 'fixed' but several days later when in the basement I discovered it was still running. A follow-up visited elicited the advice that they could not replace the flapper to control this toilet's flow and I should replace it also. I bought replacement flappers for the old toilets at a local plumbing outlet and they came back and installed the new flappers. I sourced and replaced the other toilet myself, using the same plumbing outlet that provided the flappers for the older toilets. I wouldn't recommend this provider as they seemed unable or unwilling to source replacement parts that I was easily able to find myself.
