Grasshopper Movers

Grasshopper did an EXCELLENT job and took extremely good care of my valuables. If you are moving, I urge you to consider them as an option. I was only charged for time which was quite unlike other companies that in addition to the time charge, wanted to sell me padded boxes, loan me used wardrobe carriers and charge for an additional storage space stop. Steve made the process seamless, from my initial call to inquire, to arriving on time in my secured building (even when I didn’t answer my phone to buzz him in), to the simplicity of making my final payment...I had no worries. It was all hassle free thanks to Grasshopper. I will definitely recommend them to friends and family and use them to get to my next destination.

They were wonderful. The deal I found on Angie's List was good, the price was good. Everything was good.

Several months ago,we had to pack up and move our daughter's apartment due to her illness.  The crew came in and packed everything, and then took it to their storage unit.  Yesterday, they brought all of her things to her new apartment.  They are polite, professional, easy to be around, generous with their service.  They had carefully wrapped each of her things, and as we unpacked, everything was in great shape.  Then they came a few days later to pick up the boxes.  We could not be more pleased with their service and will definitely use them again.

Everyone at Grasshopper was such a pleasure to work with for our move.  Their prices were very reasonable and their care for our personal items was impeccable.  They had good suggestions for me concerning specific items and were able to quickly and carefully disassemble the larger pieces like beds, dining room tables, buffets, etc.  They also carefully and easily put them together and made sure that I was happy with the placement of the items in each room.  They also helped pack some of the pieces that I hadn't gotten around to packing before the moving days and did a wonderful job (dishes/glassware/fine art/breakable lamps).
Even more amazing was that our move occurred during the worst snow storm of the year in late February, it couldn't have come at a worse moment.  Steve and his team communicated frequently with me over the course of that week to determine the best course of action. We called, e-mailed and texted one another to update each other on the road conditions and what the next course of action should be for the move (our former home is at the bottom of a very steep hill on a dead end street and our driveway also is on a hill with a steep staircase entry way to the home.  Needless to say the snow was a tricky situation). They were very flexible with re-scheduling the Thursday portion of the move since that was the day of the greatest snow.  They also worked very late into the evening on Friday since we'd been forced to push back the majority of the move to that day because of the snow.  Their crew was so great we were happy to buy dinner for the fellows who stayed late to get our house set up that night.  They were a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend them for your move.
