Bini was absolutely fantastic to deal with -- I called him on a Monday, and he went by my house that same day to prepare an esimate. By Wednesday my new security gate was fabricated and installed on the front door. Bini was very responsive to my calls and emails. I would definitely recommend his shop for iron work!

Everything went well. Bini was quick to respond to my request. He came by and evaluated what I needed and got a quote to me right away. He was able to do the work immediately which was very important to me since the railing had to be secure when movers came to move some furniture. The railing had been repaired incorrectly by someone else (before I bought the townhouse) and because of the incorrect repair it was now rusted out at the base and ready to fall apart if anyone put the slightest pressure on it - very dangerous. Bini took the time to explain exactly what he was going to do and that it would last for decades. I would hire him again.

I called Bini and left a message about having this small repair job completed. It took a week to finally hear back from him, but when he called back, he was able to come to my house immediately for an estimate. He arrived in literally 5 minutes, and was able to do the repair immediately. He had to go back to the shop to get materials, but came back to my house in 15 minutes, and completely the repair. The quality of the work was excellent, I am so glad to have my gate fixed, and I will definitely call Bini again the next time I need welding work completed.

This was an excellent experience for us. The deck looks great and it won't need nearly the maintenance a wood deck would require. Bini worked with us on patiently as we went around a few times on what color we should go with. His crew was polite, hard working and cleaned up at the end of each day. The idea of adding onto the existing structure was a good one; through the miracle of welding and paint, it doesn't look tacked on at all. I particularly appreciate Bini's suggestion of the horizontal bars on the railing. It looks cleaner and more modern than it would have otherwise, and it's not something I would have considered on my own. I definitely appreciate the general quality of Bini's work but also the craftmanship that is exhibited in his making those creative suggestions that give a finished product some polish and character. And of course I am pleased with the price. Make sure you get a bid from Binis if you are doing a larger job.

Bini did a great job and was very responsive. I called at 5:00 on a Wednesday and he said he could actually come over that night if I would like. I agreed and he showed up less than two hours later. He reviewed the project and gave me a good quote. I told him I would occupied for about a week starting on the next Satruday and he offered to do the work the next day. His crew showed up the next day and worked diligently to ensure the job was done correctly. The did a great job and I was pleased. I would use them again.

Bini arrived a few minutes late due to some confusion about the appointment time, but apologized for the confusion and was very courteous. He listened to what I wanted done, looked at the window, and was able to email me an estimate from his iPhone while we were still standing in my kitchen. The price was excellent given other quotes we've received for similar work and he could complete it the next week. That was enough for me to sign the deposit on the spot. The work was completed as scheduled and I've very happy with the final product. It looks nice and protects the window from burglars while still allowing egress in an emergency.

We contacted Bini and explained what the job entailed. Within a few days he came to the job site to review and take measurements. He provided a written recap ofthe job along with a price estimate. It took us several weeks to get back to him as we were waiting for other bids. We selected Bini due his prompt response to our inquirey, his professional attitude and his competitive pricing. Once we decided to hire Bini, we agreed on a start date and paid a deposit. His crew arrived whe we expected them and did a through job. They cleased up the site each day (they were there 3 days or so). The final cost was as it was estimated. The entire experience was a breeeze and the steps look great!

Met with Bini, told him I wanted to replace my broken historical fence with an identical one and have a matching gate made. He said it would be ready within a week. I called once during that time to get a sketch of the gate and didn't receive a call back but I later learned Bini had a family obligation out of town. I only mention that because he didn't delay or even bother me with his personal business but rather arranged to have my fence and gate installed by someone else within the time he promised and then called *from abroad* to make sure I was happy with the job, which I was (and am). It's sturdy, looks great, and Bini made it and had it installed quickly and with absolutely no fuss. I'd use him again, for sure.

I was disappointed with Bini's Ironworks. Bini was completely professional and responsive during my initial two calls to discuss pricing and to schedule the in-home free estimate. However, Bini failed to show for our scheduled in-home estimate -- he did not call in advance to say he could not make it, and then provided no explanation for his absence when we spoke the next day. To his credit, Bini tried to remedy the situation by offering to come to our home over the weekend while we were away and measure all of the windows and doors for bar/gate installation. A few days later he provided the estimate as promised. Before he began any work, my husband and I slighly adjusted the scope of the work and provided Bini with the revised scope proposal. We also offered to send him a deposit for the work, and requested he tell us how the amount necessary for a deposit. He stated that he would begin creating the bars/gate the next day, and installation would be the following week. I was very glad I never mailed in a deposit check, however, because from that point on I never heard from Bini again. I emailed Bini the day prior to the scheduled installation, requesting an update on what time he would arrive the next day. I received no response. The next morning I emailed Bini to inform him that based on his lack of communication, we would no longer be using his services. Again, I never received any response. This experience was disappointing because I fully intended to use Bini to install our window bars and door gate. I have no idea why he stopped communicating with us after he told us he would begin work on the project and we offered to send him a deposit check for the work. Based on this lack of professionalism and responsiveness, I would not recommend Bini to others.

I got a couple other quotes and on his quote he was much more detailed. I got a cheaper quote from someone else but his quality seemed to be higher. I had it done yesterday and he did a really good job.

The day after a bulgar had broken into my home trhough a basement level window, I looked on Angie's List for someone to install security bars for all my basement level windows. Through Angie's List, I contacted Binis Ironworks and another ironworks contractor who both had "A" ratings in the ironworks and welding categories. I received a call from Mr. Binis the next morning (I never received a response from the other contractor) and he arranged to inspect the five windows in question the next day; however, he later had to reschedule this initial visit until the following day because another job he was working on took more time than expected. Mr. Binis promptly arrived at my home on the initial inspection day at the time agreed upon, and performed a quick but quite thorough inspection of my windows. He then explained the ironwork services he could provide and his substantial experience in installing residential security bars. He and I agreed upon a price for his services and he pledged to have a crew perform the work within five days. Two days later, his two-man crew arrived early in the morning and completed the entire job within a hour. They did a fine job of cleaning up after their work was done, and the finished product is excellent. Moreover, I was charged exactly the amount which had previously been set.

They were very good. They did a great job and I would hire them again.

Binis Ironworks llc Binis Ironworks, had to manufacture the products, paint and install them, and then come back to do touch up painting etc. I called them late at 4:30 on the 23rd, a guy came that evening, walked the house with me and took measurements, then immediately e-mailed me from his Ipad a quote, in which I downloaded and gave a $50 deposit. They came back Wednesday and finish up everything but one window and today they finished the touch up. They were great and I will be using them again!

Soon after we bought our new house, the insurance company called and told us that their inspector would be requiring that we install railing on the driveway retaining walls. So we called for estimates. Bini was able to come out quickly and provide an estimate. His bid came in about 30% below the other folks who we asked to bid. We went with Bini. His crew installed the rails over about three days. We did have a miscommunication and they installed an additional railing which just looked strange and looked like an invitation to kids to play on it in dangerous ways. I asked Bini to have the additional rail removed and his crew came back out and removed that and reattached the trim piece to the end of the remaining rails. Bini was responsive and courteous throughout. I can't give him straight A's because the miscommunication resulted in the rails having an obvious repair to them, but he did do his best to make it right. In the end this was a home improvement that we didn't want to do, but we were forced into by the insurance company. Bini was able to give us a solution in a short turn around time and a lower price than competitors.

I called Bini on a Tuesday afternoon. He measured the door that day, fabricated and painted it the next afternoon and had it installed that evening. He was courteous, punctual, answered all of my questions and gave me exactly the product I needed. The price seemed very fair. I am very happy with the entire process, will use them again and would recommend Bini's Ironworks to a friend.

I like him so much I saved his number in my phone. His prices are very reasonable. I would highly recommend him.

First day, I wasn't told that they would be coming during to a thunderstorm. Second day was better. Worker arrived early and finished the job. I wasn't looking for fancy welding work, so the price was right

Found this company to be one of the most unprofessional out there. Was collecting bids for an iron gate project that we were looking at. After initial bid received, tried to contact 3 seperate times with questions on design and price and all requests for more information went completely ignored. Didnt realize there were actually companies out there that could afford to just completely ignore customer requests for more info. Luckily, found someone else with a much better design and significantly cheaper. Will never do business with these folks, and will steer away any and all friends/family from doing the same.

Binis charged substantially less than any of the other welders I contacted. His crew were very efficient and FAST. The window bars look great. He even sent his crew back to add a security screen at no extra charge when we realized the casement windows opened wider than initially thought. Binis was very punctual when he came to do the estimate first thing in the morning. I only gave lower marks for punctuality because on the day we had scheduled for installation there was a delay due to paint drying and no one let me know I needed to reschedule until I called the office. When he and his crew arrived the next day they were extremely courteous and efficient. It was very clear they took pride in their work and wanted to make sure I was happy with the results.

Flexible, punctual, courteous, respectful, great quality workmanship, and CHEAP! I had bids over $6000 for this work, and Bini delivered the project on time, on budget, and with excellent quality for less than 30% of other bids. Bini, his secretary, and the work crew were professional and courteous. Bini did not ask for payment until the job was completely finished, and the check i wrote was exactly the same amount as the estimate. *Note - the address on this entry is wrong. the shop is on Rhode Island ave. you may need to google "bini's iron work" for the website/address, but it's well worth your time.
