Description of Work: Awesome. T came out to give a very detailed bid on the project and from the outset it was evident that he knew what he was doing and took pride in his work. He noticed several things (out of plumb existing fence post, changing elevation..) that required adjustments for a perfect result that other contractors didn’t notice. He delivered on time and the end result is absolutely perfect

Description of Work: Attempted to get an appointment for an estimate. The gentleman that answered said he was too busy to talk and asked that I send a test to the same phone number with the information and a contact number and he would return the call. I did that as soon as I hung up but he never responded.

 + -1 moreAfter calling several companies asking for estimates I looked at Angie"s List and found Abay. I called and the owner "T" assured me he would come out and look to give me an estimate. He came out when agreed upon and said he could not repair the broken piece so asked if he could make me another. He said that he could and would. On the agreed upon date he showed up on time with my new frame. As with most custom built items it did fit perfectly so he took it back to his truck made the adjustments installed and my wife was thrilled. When she is happy I am happy. Thanks "T" you are the best. Good Luck and Best Wishes.

 + 1 moreThe job went well. I called Abay Iron and Metal Works to inquire about the cost of installing bars on my windows and repairing my iron door. On the very same day, Mr. Tilahun Wendafrash came to my home to measure my windows. Two days later, the bars for my windows were ready; Tilahun and his assistant installed them; and he repaired my door. Tilahun was prompt and polite and gave a pretty decent price considering the quick turn-around. I am pleased with the work performed and recommend Abay Iron and Metal Works to consumers with related needs.

 + 1 moreIt went very smoothly and quickly. "T" always called or showed when he said he would. His was the best price and I had seen his work at a friend's house. On the day of installation he actually arrived a few minutes early. He and his partner installed the fence quickly and with attention to detail. He was very polite and answered all my questions. I am very picky and when I noticed a very minor detail that no one else said they noticed, he came back the same day and adjusted it for me.
Description of Work: I had a wrought iron fence custom-made for my front yard.
