Description of Work: My mother had a large problem with her furnace and chimney. The furnace co referred us to this provider. 2 phone calls were placed with 2 messages left. He called back on the second one. When I asked if he could come out to look at the chimney (what happened, if it was repairable or replaceable, and the cost he was pretty snarky and stated that he didnt do that work and my mom should call the people who put the liner in place. I was offering business. I felt as if he didnt want anything to do with the job. I gave him a "C" rating because he did give other references.

Description of Work: Our chimney sweep from August West came to inspect and clean two fireplaces in our two family home. He cleaned the downstairs fireplace but upon inspection he said the upstairs did not need to be cleaned. He also told me that I didn't have a cap on the chimney and that I would need one. I wasn`t even aware that it was missing. Overall, he was great....he answered all of my questions and enlightened me on a few things, as well. The cost was very reasonable and he was professional and a gentleman. Thank you, August West!
