We we're very satisfied with quality and results. Only inconvenience was the arrival time. They arrived about 30mins late after mentioning they would be there between 11am-1pm. However, woman from the office called twice to apologize and keep us updated. I was unable to stay after 1pm due to work but luckily fiance was home to let them in. Final price seemed a little high but overall fair. 10% Angies coupon was appreciated!

We contacted Air Specialties A/C & Heating Inc for an emergency call. Our furnace had stopped working during one of the coldest week this winter. When I arrived home, the temperature was already in the high 30's and falling. As a brand new homeowner, we did not have much knolwedge of the furnace, the dangers of going without heat (freezing pipes, etc.), or who to call. Needless to say, we also did not set up a service contract yet. I dialed many services providers on Angie's List, and I finally got ahold of Air Specialities. They agreed to come out, and look at the furnace. However, I received a second call explaining they would not be coming out, because we did not have an existing service contract. I was told this was company policy. Needless to say, I am disappointed both in the policy, and the inflexibility in such a serious situation. Fortunately I was able to get in touch with another company who came out quickly and solved our problem. (We will be signing a service contract with the company that did come out.) One Positive: Someone called me back from the company the next day to ask if we still needed service, and apologized for my experience. I think this was a really professional act, and I appreciated the courtesy. For this reason, I gave Air Specialties a solid "C" rating.

06/20/13 Pete and Jim did a great job. They were punctual, polite and cleaned up after themselves. I would highly recommend this company. I looked at 3 other companies in the area and choose Air Specialties. There price was similar to the other companies. I was also able to order a cover for the compressor 3 months later.

Jim is the type of person I always hope to get when seeking help with something. He was faced with a non-functioning central A/C system, a collection of ancient equipment and a mess of disconnected wires thanks to the previous owner. He approached the problem with the enthusiasm that comes naturally to someone who likes to solve problems and see results. In a surprisingly short amount of time he'd redone the wiring to the thermostats, air controller, furnace and A/C components and had the system producing cold air from a system that I thought was beyond all hope. As Jim worked on diagnosing the problem he explained what he was doing and why. He answered my dumb questions with clear and interesting information and he did it without a hint of dismay. It was obvious that he is very knowledgeable, experienced, and enjoys doing what he does. I chose Air Specialties because of what I read about them on Angie's List and I am very happy that I did. Without Angie's List I think the chances of my finding Air Specialties was remote and that would have been a shame.

We lost our central air conditioning during the last heat wave. We contacted Air Speciialties because of Angie's List. Like others we contacted, they were backed up and gave us a service date that was almost 3 full days away. Ultimately, they rearranged their schedule so that we were serviced the next day, saving two whole days. The technician arrived promptly, was totally courteous and professional and analyzed and found a broken motor part. The part needed to be ordered. It appeared that because the part would not be available soon, a date to install the part was set for the Monday after the intervening week end. As it turned out, the part was received early and we were contacted to see if the repair could be done today (the Friday before the weekend and with another heat wave due). We, of course were delighted. The service technician arrived soon thereafter, did the repair and we have our system back in working order much sooner than originally estimated. This was different technician and he was also courteous and professional. In fact, the entire personnel of Air Specialties, including the office staff, are friendly, professional and anxious to please. We are glad to recommend them.. They get an A+ across the board.

They were wonderful and were really good.

They are very good and very personable. They are a little expensive, but you get what you pay for. The service contact is $565 per year and it covers all of the systems from the oil tank, furnace, hot water heater, and power venter. They also work with you on financing. When my hot water heater went, their cost was very expensive and I went with another company. They were the highest of all the people that I got quotes from. . I opted to rent a water heater from another company where there was no money up front. After I dropped the hot water heater from the contract, the annual fee only dropped $15. I was surprised and I thought the price would drop more. Over the years, I have tried other furnace companies and their service is just not as good. They arrive when they say they are going to and always show up. I prefer paying a little more because their service is so good. They are very good people.

They did a wonderful job and they are great! They are wonderful people and are very professional. I can’t say enough good things about them. I think they are wonderful company to do business with and I am very happy with them.

The work turned very good! I think they are very fair and reasonable. They were also very polite and professional.

It went reasonably well, but they do not look at the total installation before beginning and had to make a major adjustment in the piping they had installed. This extended the conversion by about two weeks. It was a completely preventable error.

They did a really good job. He said that he would do what he could, but he got it done. They cleaned up after themselves. We did not know that they had even been in the house. The seller had a warranty on my house so I had to use someone else for my house. Our experiences with them have been good. Their prices were definitely competitive. They were out before the hurricane and their responsiveness was very good. They showed up when they said they would.

He called the office to find out the cost for me and I agreed to the work. The technican was polite, professional and answered all my questions and cleaned up any mess he had made. I have used this company for the past few years for regular maintenance on my a/c and boiler. They have always been prompt, professional and responsive from the office to the technicans.
