The owner delivered our dining room chairs this morning. They chairs look gorgeous! I have never had such a wonderful experience from the initial telephone call to going to the store and meeting him to the end product. The workmanship is superb. They are polite, professional, honest and extremely customer service oriented. Their prices are very competitive. The deadlines were met and the owner delivered the chairs himself this morning! I would not hesitate to recommend him and even I let him know that I would let a potential customer look at the furniture he did for me.

Imperial took the chair complety apart and rebuilt with a new rush seat.

Working with Imperial was easy; the family has been doing this for generations. As you can tell, we were so impressed with their work--little things, like lining up patterns between seat and arms that make a huge difference in final "look" of the furniture--that we ended going through the house to locate anything and everything we could give to them to be reupholstered or fixed. Each time, they transported the furniture to and from our home. Their showroom and workroom in West Hartford are sort of out of the way, but they do all their work on site. We didn't take advantage of their ability to build custom furniture, but would if we decided to go that direction. Pricing was fair and reasonable for the quality provided. At the end, my wife and I were sort of sorry we ran out of furniture to send to Imperial...they are that good.

They do excellent work. I liked their professionalism. They were fine.

This business does great work, doing restoration for the Mark Twain House and the Wadsworth Athaneum. They were very helpful in explaining what needed to be done and picking the right leather. Since I couldn't decide between two different shades, it was decided that the 5 who worked in the shop would vote on what they thought would be best. That worked great for me. My one hesitation would be the final cost, but based on the quality of the work done, I guess it should be expected. I do plan to use them again to reupholster our dining room chairs.

Both chairs came back great. Very high quality craftmanship. The antique chair had to be taken apart and rebuilt and they did a fine job. The shop has a large selection of fabric samples and spent a good amount of time helping us decide what to use based on the usage of the chairs, the best fabrics for the job, the cost etc.

Our experience was outstanding. They were prompt, very nice to deal with, and stayed within the estimate despite some unforeseen problems.

This is a family owned business and the atmosphere is friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable about all aspect of the business. Mr. Gallinoto was very patient, offered his professional opinion about the work to be done, and gave me a feeling of confidence in choosing him to do the work. The cushions were completed on time, I was very impressed with the workmanship and especially pleased with the helpful and courteous service that I received.

IMPERIAL IS A COMPANY THAT SPECIALIZES IN DETAIL WORK, AND THEY DO A VERY HIGH-QUALITY JOB. IT IS A FAMILY OWNED BUSINESS THAT HAS BEEN AROUND FOR MANY GENERATIONS, AND OUR SOFA LOOKS AWESOME.
